  • very cool well done

  • @TSHARK...

I admire what you have accomplished and someday will get there myself. Currently Ive been into online dogfighting with like minded individuals in modern fast movers and WW2 fighters, including the Strumbird Me262. I also collect WW2 aviation pilot gear and cockpit gauges. Very much like this period in aviation history. I assume this is an electric ducted fan system. How long does it fly and will it land if you go over the limit long enough to land safely?

  • Would you share an approximation of what it costs to get a finished product like this?

  • @AV8R To build one of these planes you are looking at between $4000-6000. It mainly depends on how you want to set it up and who's products you put in it.

  • Well done , but boy is it fast ! You have done a very good job on it !

  • Super Modell mit orginaler Bemalung = 5 *****

  • This is beautiful!! Absolutely!! Almost in love with it.

What I personally would try is to outfit the kite within the cockpit with a camera. Would give an outhentic feeling I guess.

  • outstanding! AUSGEZEICHNET! the model AND pilot!

  • Sharp! Great all the way. These jets scared the hell out of my nose-gunner Dad on a B-24!

  • I would experience a goddess of the German fighter pilots.... fantastic sound... very faithful to detail, first-class gebrusht. ... great work. thanks for the video...

    warbirds-power.de

  • Bahahaha! This is cool. The tommies have good reason to be afraid! ;)

  • great vid ...it sounds more like a F1 then a plane though

  • great great I want to this kit :D

  • I WOULD STILL FLY THAT!! AND SHOT THE BOMBERS AND THE F-16s, F-22s escorting them

  • Mr. nice airplane those engines sound great thanks for uploading this great video.

  • Beautiful sound from the turbines, sounds futuristic like something from a star wars movie

  • great plane and flying, light history, germany had a working jet plane in 1939 and a working jet fighter in 1940, but.... goring and his buddy hitler didn't see the benifites of it . Germany also made the first twin and 4 jet engine bombers as well as the first jet flying wing. only thing i'd do is change engines to jets 175 is about as fast as electric is gonna get, just saying . the color is very good and she seems to fly great ,

  • LOL-the coloured modeller and his nazi jet-crazy. It's ok, as opposites attract, but never forget, that Adolf refuse to shake hands of coloured athlets in 1936.

  • good job !!!

  • very, VERY nice airplane!

  • my dad was forgotten by the german marine, but the plane looks nice :D

  • nice work, your EDF looks great.

  • You lucky freaking guy! What a nice toy!

  • How much was the plane, retracts and shipping ?

  • My Dad was a B-17 Bombardier/Navigator and his stories of these were interesting. He said they'd come up at a high pitch behind the B-17 swarms, fire their weapons and as part of their single swoop, drop down below the cloud bank. He never saw any more than one pass in that style, and although they did hit the planes with their bullets, he figured they were burning so much fuel that they couldn't sustain their attacks. He also said they were smokey... so you might want to add some fog spray?

  • According to the airworld specs the weight is 12.5 lbs. Does that make sense? YOu siad yours is 24 lbs, what gives? If it really is 12 lbs then a 6s setup should work?

  • Man, this is so great! You did an incredible job on the ME.....and your flying skills are superb.

You're not, perhaps, a former military pilot, are you? I'm still re-learning how to fly on a Parkzone T-28 and an Apprentice, just got AeroFly 5.5 to practice on so I don't single-handedly support my hobby store.

I also love the way that you deco'ed the ME..........more videos of your skills, please........

    Stay well,

    Steve

  • Beautiful Aircraft!

    Thank You!

  • Excellent job Sir. I loved every detail of it, especially those engines screaming!

  • What a BEAAUTIFUL job- GORGEOUS plane! Looks great, looks very stable- do you still have it? We need to see that beauty put through the paces!

  • Great build, great flying, and great video! You come off as a class act! Good on you!

  • I love that this model is 1/5 the speed of the actual jet in a straight line...wow

  • great model, and a really nice video.

  • Not just very nice workmanship but a d..n good pilot too. I remember in 1945 seeing the contrails of some of these jet fighters approaching swarms of B 17s and knocking down a few. I was on the ground of course and on the receiving end of the carpet bombings.

  • @chloe7829

    Hello Chloe7829

Thanks for commenting on my plane. Althought I would like to hear more stores about what you saw during the war. Please post more on here if you like you are more than welcome.

    Thanks

  • just change the sound and it's ready for use in a movie ... :)

  • Hey TShark great video, looks like a lot of fun to fly. Good to see ducted fan with so much detail. An amazing looking aircraft, saw a real one at Cosford airbase in the UK and it takes your breath away. I love the way it looks just right, almost organic.

  • That's a sweet looking plane! Fantastic paint, I love it.

  • Those aren't really mini Jet engines, are they...?

  • @dadders6

No the engines in this bird are electric. The kit can be built in a twin turbine set up.

  • Ist das die Reichskriegsflagge bei 1:55 ?

  • @perchloricacid Hab` ich auch gesehen. Es IST in der Tat die RKF! Strange, die Amis ... ;)

  • Very Cool!

  • What is your impresions if I made this model with Querosene turbines?

  • How Cool Dude! very nice! all the way around, from the build to the paint job, to the flying! A++

  • Everytime I see one of these planes I think about the Blue Oyster Song Me262. Junkers Jumo 004. Truely a fantastic build and paint. This is the kind of work we should all aspire to. Thanks for sharing your talents.

  • @TSHARK203

Love the video! How many cells are you using for each motor?

  • Awesome dude I appreciate the time taken to discuss the model and what you used in it...

  • Great airplane with the same abilities of flight and takeoff/landing from an unimproved airstrip! Reeeeeeeeeeeeemarkable!!!

  • Sharp!!

  • excellent weathering job on the 262

  • Great work! The coolest design to come out of WWII. Great flying too.

what do you mean not good enough????????

  • @TSHARK203

You've took this out of context, read the 5 posts above

It starts with me saying ''The me262 has got to be the best looking aircraft of ww2, beautiful model''

    and Haophil contradict's me.

  • Nice!!!!!!!!

  • wow stunning!

  • Nice!

  • George,

Fantastic job on your aircraft. Beautiful to watch. Thanks for sharing all of your hard work.

  • how much?

  • The RC Pilot demonstrated excellent control of a very challenging aircraft to fly. This bird is fast and the runway was rough, but the flight was smooth and beautiful!!!

    Top Notch flying!!! Beautiful Plane!!!

  • Your Me 262 performs better than the real ones did! I love the paint job and the detail--both are excellent. Ever consider doing an He 280? Since it never got beyond the prototype stage, you could image what a combat-ready 280 would have looked like.

  • @tarantula700 does sound like a sweet idea.

  • Man I really liked the sound. It sounded like a real jet engine. Excellent flight.

  • Great job on the build. Also, way to stick with the landing. You never stopped flying the plane. Great job all around.

  • Excellent!!!

  • Beautiful job!

  • awesome, shall be honest the germans had some great ideas along with the russians on aircraft... well done

  • Wow, that is one coold RC plane. There should be an RC dogfight between that plane and the P-51.

  • Nice modell and good config Congrat!

  • Love this jet!

Very nice job on the building and painting!
