The 5200 was a complete and utter fail! It's huge! The controllers weren't reliable! There was a stupid switch box thing! - Terrible. That's why they re-released it. & by that time no one cared cus there was better systems out by then.

2) Atari 5200 had joystick from wico that was good

3) atari 5200 had atari 2600 adaptor as well

4) Atari 5200 was an atari 400 without the keyboard and they changed the memory addresses. play pac-man on 400, it's the same

5) ET was created because steve ross (warner) wanted to get steven speilberg away from paramount. He bought the rights and forced them to make it in 2 monhs.

I would say there about the same being I own both. Nothing special about either one. But the Atari 5200 has Adventure II and Space Dungeon. Which is better then anything on the colecovision. However I do like Frenzy better on the colecovision better then berzerk on the 5200.

No they took the original Mario brothers game and released it on multiple systems. They had it on Atari 5200, Atari 7800, Sega Master System, Nintendo. They Had Mario Brothers on Multiple Systems unless you bough any of the sequels that were only on the Nintendo systems. It's kinda like Mega Man being on Nintendo Systems and all of Sudden it Started showing up as a game for the Playstation.

There is no port of Mario Bros. for the SMS. The only consoles it came out for were the 2600, 5200, 7800 and NES.
