Apparently he was being chased by a group of boys while travelling home from school and was struck by a car while trying to escape from them. He unfortunately died of his injuries two days later.
You know what, Degrassi is probably one of the most realistic shows you'll see on TV (well the earlier degrassi, anyway) because instead of the ridiculous perception of highschool teen life on TV, Degrassi portrays real problems in teens, not that it's every teen's problems, but it shows what some teens go throuh, and I don't know any other show that does that

Overall the video is really good. But it leaves out a bunch of things. Rick was abusive, thats why everyone hated him. Spinner(The one crying) and Jay(Hat) were the reason Jimmy was shot, they lied in earshot of Rick saying Jimmy set up the paint. Spinner later confesses and is expelled. He is shunned thoughout Season 5 by his friends but Jimmy forgives him in Season 7 when they both graduate together(Jimmy had to repeat his grade because of his therapy).

Out of all the videos posted on youtube about this shooting, I have to say this one was the longest and it included the entire story. This is amazing. But at the part where JImmy gets shot, the song hide and seek by Imogene heap would've fit perfect. But still GOOD JOB ON THE VID. =D

the song was a very fitting choice good job, this two parter was the most intense part of this entire series, i hate to say it but i understand why rick did it, he was terrorized by spinner and them, he reached a breaking point, i could never condone such an action, the thing is though so many school shootings involve bullying, a subject schools claim to be zero tolerant on (yeah right) anyways sorry about the rant
