  • Im sorry i could hear the fans over my own

  • Maingear Shift

  • will the g1 assassin mobo fit??

  • Personally, I don't really mind the MB tray not removable. But I still prefer cases with a cut out to make installation of CPU coolers much easier.

  • does the Asus HD 6970 direct CU II fit in that case ???

  • @korpel yea

  • would this case fit a 6950

  • anyone know if the gtx 580 fits in there? its 10 5/8 in long. But rodney said that it supports 10 1/2 or 12in, which is it? there is a difference between both of them. Any help someone?

  • Any way to install a 240mm rad?

  • The cooling on this case looks crap though...

  • This HUGE case can only hold 10.5 inch gpu's?? I dont think so...

  • @Atomcitypasi it can fit 3 gtx 470's lol

  • @sacredxsnipervids

The gtx 470 is only 9.5 inch :) I want to know that this case can fit 5970/6990 radeons. Those cards are very long. 12.2 inches(30.9 cm).

  • @Atomcitypasi if you want to get a 6990 you might as well just get 2 6970's because the 6990 runs really hot.

  • @sacredxsnipervids

Thanks for the advice! But you know.. I want to be future proof. :) And i think the next series from nvidia will be 12 inch or maybe 12.5(gtx 680?). And I want to know what is the maximum length of the vga that this case can fit.

  • this or rv02

  • Urg, I want this case.. I've not had my HAF x for long either

  • Sort of looks like a bumfed up Phantom

  • Got this 2years ago & still rocks, super quiet.

  • @chisel954 hey bro do you mind if i ask a few questions???? i want to buy this case but i hear that cooling isn't that great but have no idea which fans would fit and be compatible...

  • @HostileSausage I have this case, it has: One 120mm Fan and two 180mm Fans

  • OOOHH MYYY GOOOODDDD

  • Does this case suport xl-atx motherboards? Like the msi big bang marshal?

  • This is the sexiest case i have ever seen! Look like the bat mobile to me.

  • I would really like a video explaining why he has an obsession with removable mobo trays.

  • i jizzed when the 5.25 inch door slid

  • how about actually putting components inside the case before you call it good? you would find out that most SATA cables are not long enough to reach the motherboard. i mean i love this case, but i swear, all your videos have absolutely no computer parts put in the case. piece of crap cases get rave reviews here because you dont do anything but look at the case. dont call these videos reviews if all your gonna do is talk about what can be easily found on the case's website.

  • @FaldorixAlpha

He doesn't have the time :)

  • Fits my 13" HD Radeon 5970 card easily with room to spare. Currently building a system in this case and would recommend it.

  • Would it be a good idea to add an intake fan at the front of this case?

  • Shemexy

  • so sexyy

  • love the way this case looks, nice review. i am deffinatelly giving this case some serious consideration

  • my head hurts

  • YES a case without LAME ASS doors..., i also like the tilted mobo idea, but no hole on that tray...... ';..;' bastards i like my holes

it looks soooo great, but has some minor flaws they could have easily fixed

  • Unfortunately Motherboard tray is not removable :)

  • I knew the moment i saw this a few months back that this was the baddest case, as far as flexibility goes. I LOVE it.

  • So what if it doesn't have a slot for a retention bracket...you can create a slot for that by removing the other side panel and using a dremel tool :-P

  • stfu with the mother board tray you sad man

  • anyone with this case know if this is good for a moderate-high end gaming rig? im kinda a noob at PC stuff

  • @DonkeyManda432 Yep I am using it For a.

    AMD 1100T @3.3GHZ

    HD 6970 2GB

    16GB DDR3 1600MHz

    Gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H

    700Watts HuntKey PSU

    2TB Seatgeate HDD

And It works Flawless it was very easy to install.

  • @MrWeedgamer I'm not using it for a

    2600k

    470gtx

    8gb 1600 cl8

    700psu

    lol

  • @SupaPoopaScoopa yea i needed the 2 Extra cores for my vm's and stuff like that.

  • @MrWeedgamer Is there room for two of those HD6970 cards to be installed?

  • @AutobotRoller Plenty even 3 will fit.

  • any one with this case able to tell me the measurements inside?

  • @megadeath

Not 6 expansion slot... Its SEVEN "7" so eatx will fit..

  • seriously, not that many people care of the "removable motherboard tray" -.-, and you mentioned it way too many times.

  • what wtf how can this fit etx? It only has 6 expansion slots.

  • @MegaDeathwarrant it has 7 slots, and e-atx boards use the standard atx standoff mountings but are slightly longer and wider than normal atx boards. im assuming your thinking of xl-atx boards that have 8-10 expansion slots and are much wider

  • Ordered 1 today...!!!!!

This product is 100% kick ass

And i cant wait to be a

    100% kickass user!!!!

  • @havoknova i wanna buy one, do you recommend it?

  • who ever owns a rv01 in here can u guys tell me if u can put the top cover back even with the dvi and dp adapter is in place...im running eyefinity setup and i got those adapters...thanks

  • @havoknova

I have one, and the answer is no. Well, you can but it will sit there loosely so yeah.

    Hope that helps.

This case is a bit heavy but I love it.

  • doesn't have a removable motherboardtray:P

  • Fantastic ;-)

  • There is Trying to Asian brides "busizz4me.info"

  • Corsair Obsidian D >>>> this case!

  • @Aldind2x

You obviously don't know what you are talking about. The obsidian is an absolute piece of crap for anyone that doesn't wan't to water cool their system. The cooling in that case is absolutely horrendous. Its a nice looking case, I'll give it that, but at the expense of cooling which is what a case should be good at. This case beats it by leaps and bounds in terms of air cooling. Hell, even the corsair 600 is much better than the 800.

  • Nice hair Asian women lushfmlk.info

  • Nice, but what about people like me who have to use DVI -> HDMI adapters on their video card because the GFX is DVI... :(

  • The only problem I saw with the case is that it does not have a open area on the motherboard tray for the retention plate that you need to properly mount after market coolers. This will be a problem for those who want to overclock their CPU on air.

Other than that this is a really unique case that will awesome for most high end rigs

  • Rodney, get over the obsession with removal mb trays. With a properly designed and accessable case they have no purpose other than to introduce rattle and air leak points where dust comes in. If a mb test station is needed they can easily be made with a few dollars of material.

  • I couldn't do the I/O on top, and the cables being bent backward, to come out the back, especially, for my display, because I have a display that has a VGA cable, and it's rather thick.

  • Does it have space for an ssd drive?

  • you are 100% kickass...subscribed

  • i'm getting this case on my christmas build :D i love that door in front

  • i came when i saw that sliding door.

    looks really sexy

  • First time a case wich does not have a removable mobo tray gets 100% kickass!

  • To be honest, this case is kind of tacky for Silverstone.

  • @cbotten106 maybe, but then again that is you're own personal opinion

  • @cbotten106 I agree, I have wanted this case since it came out. BUT, I want one that doesn't look like a stealth fighter or Darth Vader. I want it to have the more elegant understated design of the TJ07 or TJ10 and not the RV02 either. I mean an RV01 chassis without the plastic bodywork. Come on Silverstone, lets get it done!! The RV01 has been available for almost 2 years and still no availability of a more conservative styled version. The RV02 is inadequate for my needs.

  • Tell me 3DGAMEMAN, why do you gave such a gripe over a case not having a removable motherboard tray? (In no offense intended, of course).

  • @FSXman1000 What's wrong? It's the whole point of being a critic and reviewer. Removable trays make it so much easier with several tweakings and trouble shooting scenarios.

  • @FSXman1000 You mean "Why do most people"? Removable motherboard trays allow you to install the motherboard and other components like RAM and CPU without having to work in the confines of the case itself. You can even test for functionality while the tray is removed, so if there is a problem your components are even more accessible.

  • @FSXman1000 because having a removable mobo tray makes it easier to install your items duu. it didnt sound like he had an extreme gripe its just something that cost a decent amount should probably consist of that or tleast maybe a cpu black plate cutout.

  • i hate casses with doors, y a door, doesnt keep dust away? who the f*** invented such a crappy idea

  • wow.i would get this case if i could find it under 200 bucks.

  • man i really want to give this case a try

  • @heynicetry where do you live, i bought one and had no idea how large it is, in fact to large for my small apartment. I would be willing to sell the RV01 for $150

  • its funny he always says "note"." when removed...note...that there are 2 ..

  • any cons to this case ?

  • @filiwian Cable management's a pain if you don't get it right the first time. Kinda tight in there as well, despite how big it looks. Airflow for the CPU's pretty good though, but there are better cases out there.

  • I love the word he said " 100%KickAss Product "

  • I love the word he said " KickAss Product "

  • sick

  • Why did i boght the haf 932 =(

  • i think jz thermaltake armor+'s motherboard tray is removable...^^

  • There is no need for removable motherboard trays in big chassis so why would he be dissapointed

  • Is this case compatible with Corsair Hydro Series H50 CPU Cooler?

  • Rodney obsessed in removable mobo tray.

  • @jkkrs u should see him review the lanboy air. he was so happy because it had a removable mobo tray

  • @jkkrs Seriously, it's in every case vid. :P

  • i realy have to ask what is the point of a removable mobo tray seriously what advantage does that give you?

  • @gta4rulesass Helps to mount the retential plate for CPU coolers, and you can assemble most of the stuff before putting it in the case, it's also better for installing the spacers which I've had trouble with in the past.

Oh and plus, it's just cool. :P

  • This cases coolingsystem seems inhibited on the expense of the design. The design is really cool tho.

  • Should i get this case or the Cooler Master HAF X ?

  • @Dange543 definately the HAF X!

  • @vearheart42 oh thanks

  • KEWL

  • @3DGAMEMAN do you know if the evga 4 way sli will fit in this case i know that it needs 10pci slots but how needs that much cn you put it in the cae and make it work like a 3 way sli motherboard??, in case it dos is there a big diference between the rv01 and the rv02?? o and the door , how much time does it last beforew it starts working weard???

  • @saguerraty That I believe is an XL-ATX motherboard and I doubt that would fit in this Mid-tower case.

  • @vearheart42 I had one of these. it was huge and looked awesome but internally there wasn't actually that much space.

  • @saguerraty

    Common Sense Fail! (jk)

  • @saguerraty i'd suggest the Lian Li PC-P80. best internal structure on the market today!

  • now do you HAVE to have that support bracket or can you just leave it off? cause i think it kills the look :/

  • I'm curious how long that door will function without breaking? Anybody here has the case? Has the door become loose? making weird noise? :p just curious as i might be buying this case.

  • i have an xps 9000, is it possible to transfer all those parts into this case?

  • why is every review always 100% kickass product?

  • @klxman118 Because he reviews good quality stuff

  • any idea how good the stock cooling is inside that case?

    my setup is:

    AMD Phenom II x4 965 @ 3.8ghz

    Palit GTX 285

    ASUS M4N72-E

    8gb DDR2 Crucial Ballistix Tracer

and im thinking of replacing my Thermaltake Xaser VI with the RV01

  • @Waster795 Exellent, this case can easily handle my i7-860 @4ghz & HD5970.

This case is the most beautiful case available, thats why i choosed it.

  • @9SLR2 thanks for the reply , ill buy it next week :P

  • @Waster795 u're welcome. have fun ;)

  • This or the RV02 ? pleas help me :D

  • @gamer1337omg yeah, it's easy to crack if you don't take cear of it.

  • im not a fan of silverstone but this case is hot but again i do like cooler master more but they dont have this case hahaah

  • Does it fit evga classified 3-4 way SLI ? please answer,ty.

  • @Fatalexty yes it can ;)

  • @Fatalexty yes

  • Until next time, take care. =)

  • can i put 2,5" hard drives in this case

  • @N3KROTSOYLA why WTF? cause its different? this concept use naturel convection to help cooling the component.

  • @mat967 every gaming case got fan on the top that pushes out hot air, concection works the same, if not better...

  • awesome review

  • This is the best case of all cases, just saying ;)

  • it looks like it's possible to put a fan here ( 5:08 ) is it?

  • @1pcGAMER4ever1 I believe so although i don't know if the holes will need to be drilled in order to fit a fan.

  • Would you stop complaining about 'non-removeable' trays? Get over it.

  • @archona4 LOL why should you care? It's a personal preference so screw all of yours too :)

  • Go fuck yourself with your personal preferences too, pal. I'm sick of his inane "It doesn't have a removable tray" whining.

    I'll say so too.

  • WOOW! this motherboard looks REALY COOL!

  • @1991ENIGMA Hey, theres 2 different versions, a normal one that doesnt have a side panel window and silver inside and theres the one that you see above you, I hope this helps.

  • Im gonna get this case for my next PC! looks so awesome!!!

  • Will a 5970 fit in this case?

  • @RaziusX Yeah the HD5970 does fit in this case easily, I own one and I still got about 3inches of room left behind it, if your thinking of buying this case, you will not be dissapointed man, oh yeah, this case is MASSIVE, I hope this help Bru!

  • Awsome Review man, got me this case as a result :-)

  • is it nice

  • god i wanted to get this buts its like 300$,my budget is 100,does enyone know a good full tower with lots of cooling, good looking, cable management,??

  • 300$?! It's 280$

  • Sry I meant 180$

  • @deagle94 get coolermaster haf 932

  • dont get a haf 932 they're very flimsy, the raven is much better quality

  • @megapimpsword i rather take 100$ cheaper haf

  • sliding door is the smartest idea ever

    finally a decent door

  • I got sliding door in my IBM desktop back in 90's :DD

  • Wow this case looks awesome but I don't get why they didn't put a hole for the plate and they made the cable management holes so small, I mean it's not that hard making them bigger O.o still it looks awesome

  • ok i will be using this monster for a server... opteron 12 core anyone? :P muahahaha! and 1 5970? muahahaaa!!!!

  • O_0 whoa... where was this case all my life?

  • @mitchellbobwah haha, and your mouth is BIG on internet... fucking pussy!

  • ugly case :S Raven RV02 looks so much better!

  • @FrenchPrice90 this case is mad your a fag

  • What would be better? This or the Corsair Obisidian 800D?

  • good review, i bought the case but those sata plug things for the hdds are useless since they dont line up other then that its a really roomy case

  • I LIKE THIS ONE !!!

But witch one should i take:

    RV01 or Antec 1200!

  • hands down antec 1200!

  • @jumpingshadow1 Antec 1200 has one more fan that can be added. Better cooling from the reviews iv'e seen.

  • @TSMK900 whoopde fucken do, a fish tank has more cooling than the antec 1200, theres always one better noob, dont point out the obvious

  • which cases have that 90 degree orientation? i want to buy a cheap one..

  • But unfortunately, the motherboardtray is NOT removable.

Rofl he's saying that in every Case review :P

  • Thats because its NOT removeable, duh

  • @dief556 thats because he keeps his motherboard on the floor lol

  • @dief556 its just, that he has to swap Hardware (including MoBos) in and out frequently, and a removable Tray is extreemely convenient

  • @dief556 Still have no idea why someone would want that,,, after 10 years building PCs

  • @dief556 Still have no idea why someone would want that,,, after 10 years building PCs

  • @dief556 ahahahahaahahah :) he ALWAYS says that :) amazing

  • HAF 932 for sure fag !

  • freakin cool case !

  • whats cooler this or the HAF?

  • @IAreCrazyChris id sasy HAF cause it gives you more "oomph" for you money.

  • heey is the raven black or silver inside?

  • lol on every case review Rod is always disappointed there is no removable mobo tray.
