@truthoutmedia It is quite an interesting study comparing different translations with each other and with the original language. All translations add words to the English text, it would not make for easy reading if they didn't.
I often find that those who challenge the integrity of one translation are quite unaware of how accurate, or not, their own preferred version really is, and how the verses you have mentioned in this video are subject to theological bias in most bible versions
I think that the practice of adding words to the text is acceptable provided it does not dramatically alter the meaning. Unfortunately my studies have led me to understand that almost every theologically important scripture is passionately debated among great minds in these fields. I'd go so far as to say I will never be one of those great minds and, for me anyway, the entire spectrum of Bible studies could never be a closed book.

I might not be a "W.E. Vine or a William Barclay, but fortunately for me these, and other scholars, have done a pretty good job for "unlettered and ordinary" folk like me.
I wasn't referring to some kind of degree in theology - as I am sure you agree it is the Holy Spirit that guides us into all truth.
When debating linguistics and grammar however, surely it would be foolish to think that anybody without qualification can translate ancient languages in the correct context.

I believe this passage is Jesus Christ speaking. Take it from Rev 22:7: "Look I am coming" (Jesus) and in verse 20 "Yes I am coming quickly" (Jesus) Verse 16 is Jesus speaking.
Rev 22:12 is clearly Jesus if you compared that with Matthew 16:27.
Concerning your point on Jeremiah 17:10 where Jehovah is searching the heart and examining kidneys, please check Revelation 2:23-"I am he who searches the kidneys and hearts,and I will give to you individually according to your deeds"

@truthoutmedia It is quite an interesting study comparing different translations with each other and with the original language. All translations add words to the English text, it would not make for easy reading if they didn't.
I often find that those who challenge the integrity of one translation are quite unaware of how accurate, or not, their own preferred version really is, and how the verses you have mentioned in this video are subject to theological bias in most bible versions

I think that the practice of adding words to the text is acceptable provided it does not dramatically alter the meaning. Unfortunately my studies have led me to understand that almost every theologically important scripture is passionately debated among great minds in these fields. I'd go so far as to say I will never be one of those great minds and, for me anyway, the entire spectrum of Bible studies could never be a closed book.
This is why I don't go along with JW beliefs.

I have learned enough over the years, to be able to dispute any of the the points you make in the video.
I might not be a "W.E. Vine or a William Barclay, but fortunately for me these, and other scholars, have done a pretty good job for "unlettered and ordinary" folk like me.

"All" in the bible does not always mean "all" and is often used as a hyperbole

I believe this passage is Jesus Christ speaking. Take it from Rev 22:7: "Look I am coming" (Jesus) and in verse 20 "Yes I am coming quickly" (Jesus) Verse 16 is Jesus speaking.
Rev 22:12 is clearly Jesus if you compared that with Matthew 16:27.
Concerning your point on Jeremiah 17:10 where Jehovah is searching the heart and examining kidneys, please check Revelation 2:23-"I am he who searches the kidneys and hearts,and I will give to you individually according to your deeds"

So here we have the Watchtower magazine telling you that Jesus is speaking in verse 12.
But anyway, Philippians 2:9 states that God gave Jesus the name that is above every name. What is the name above every name?

The verse says "above EVERY name".
Philippians 2:10 says "at the name of JESUS every knee should bow...every tongue confess". Isaiah 45:23 states that before JEHOVAH 'every knee will bow, every tongue confess".
To whom shall we bow and confess?

Isaiah 45:23 yeah Jehovah is the Almighty every knee should bow to him and every tongue will confess I do not know you reason for comparing Isaiah 45:23 to Philippians 2:10

My point is,
only God has the name that is above all names. Only before God shall every knee bow and every tongue swear. Both of these passages apply to Jesus, which makes Him what?
Ok brother, In Psalms 102:25-27, who is this passage talking about:
"In the beginning, you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands,
They will perish, but you will remain" ?

@truthoutmedia your point fail my friend read the whole verse For this very reason also God exalted him to a superior position and kindly gave him the name that is above every name, now our bible says every other name but even if you cut out other it still do not mean that his name is above his Gods name Jehovah who exalted him in a superior position and kindly gave him the name that is above every name.

Thats right, his FATHER gave him the name that is above all names. Incidentally, 'Other' is not in the original Greek.

"Who “laid the foundations of the earth”?
The psalmist was talking about God, but the apostle Paul applied these words to Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 1:10, 11) As it turns out, these words also apply to Jesus, for he acted as Jehovah’s Agent in creating the universe. (Colossians 1:15, 16) So Jesus, too, could be said to have “laid the foundations of the earth.”
The reasoning book says the same thing.

@truthoutmedia not according to the bible that is what I am going by Hebrews 1:10 was just a repeat of Psalms 102: 25-26 this only apply to Jehovah he is the creator, Jesus on the other hand is the Master Worker or Craftsman Proverbs 8:30

Great, so you are going with the Bible. Why dont you start by quiting the Jehovah's Witnesses? Since we started talking you have already agreed twice that they are wrong. Did you not read from verse 8 of Hebrews 1? 'ABOUT THE SON'. Nobody in the world would say that this applies to the father, not even the Watchtower. Are you completely sure that this verse in Hebrews, although addressed to the son, is actually addressed to the father?
