I think these were all people who have actually seen the movie as many times as they say they did, and love it to death. It's a cult phenomenon. Filmmakers go see it to learn how NOT to do it; what things you mustn't forget when filming.

Like, don't star in a movie if you're the writer or director, unless you are an established actor first. Don't hire dogs that are better actors than your lead character. When you write dialogue, try making it believable. When you act out a rage, don't pussy out.
