  • Very good Mark!

  • Aw, that's so lovely, Mark. I enjoyed listening and watching to those nice and informative scenes. Very nicely done. Looking forward to your next work, ... and saying thank you.

  • Thank you kindly for this great comment, I sincerely appreciate it.

  • Yes,Mark. This makes for an even better video than previous 'Cotton Mill Girls'.

Quite an achievement,in my opinion..Your appearances,at times, with the 'footage' of cotton picking,is most effective. Great playing/producing/singing. Regards.

  • Thank you Greg for sharing this good comment. I really enjoyed splicing this all together and look forward to doing another one, I'm glad you were able to share this moment with me. Wishing you a great week ahead.

  • This is a great song Mark:sung with so much feeling and that"something" in your singing:making a person "feel" the track with you:and the footage I loved. The work was/ is backbreaking and they had to carry those bags all day:the person working at the wooden turning lathe with the cotton that was picked earlier was fascinating.Funny how archive footage shows how things were and on the onset of technology in "farming".

Thumbs up on your excellent movie-making Mark. Sabaii to you.

  • thank you Tuks, I'm grateful that you stopped by and left this great comment, I've always enjoyed your comments on what I do on here as you always seem to get absorbed into the lyrics and in this case images as well. I thought this public domain archive was great, it's actually and old mini movie that was put together by Chevrolet, I could post the whole video I believe if you're interested, that way you can see it all, including the great narration that goes with it. Sabaii from the MR, Mark
