Well I dont keep snakes I breed Leopard geckos but I would say anyone breeding with the idea of making some extra income is breeding for the WRONG reason and even to get the money back you invest takes a long time............This said I wish you luck and have fun.
@fifeplaster First.. Good God this is an old video..I've forgotten I even did these..LOL this was way back in the day. I think as long as the animals welfare is priority over profit then breeding with the intent of making money at it is perfectly fine. Thanks for checking out the videos..
I totally agree, You have to really like snakes in order to jump into the business side of things, At first it becomes a hobby then its becomes an obsession then it goes into the commercial side you cant move from the starting point and jump into the next if you really dont enjoy what you do.
Well its the poor mans way of producing something really cool. With that pair I have a 66% chance that they are both Het for albino and het for axanthic. I might get albinos. I might get Axanthics. I might get a double Homozygous know as a snow.
2: be prepaired if you have never kept snake for long periods of time before then don't even concider breeding you need to be able to keep the animals and love tha animals first.
3: you will be dealing with snakes if you cant handle getting hissed at bit, pooped on, struck at, peed on and wake up ready to do it again tomarrow. Then find something else to do.
Would it be worth it. Sure you make make some extra money doing this but you can also spend more and get upside down quick. Get in to it becase you like the animals not because you think there money to be had.
As for the room it stays between 75 and 80. I use oil filled heaters to keep it warm and I leave a Window open to keep fresh air and it also helps keep the temp constant.
Thanks for the questions..More videos to come. Breeding and laying and hatching.

As of now I make no profit. Every thing I sell gets put back in to new animals or equipment.
I make this suggestiong to any one looking to breed snakes as a hobby that they hope to make a little extra money at.
1: it is not easy, it it time consuming, stressful, not not something to get in to lightly.

I use 11" flexwatt connected to a Helix DBS1000.
