Brasstown Bald is awesome, I make it a regular monthly visit during season just to hike the trail to the top, and sit up there and read and eat a nice lunch, and enjoy that clean cool fresh moutain air and scenery.
Also in Helen Ga., you have got to try the breakfasts at the Helen Country Diner. Finally Helen Ga. has a awesome budget friendly breakfast spot.
I visit here all the time, My favorites here are the trout fishing, tubing, and eating. If you have never tried the lasagna at cafe International, it's to die for. And the North Ga. BBQ is some of the best BBQ I've ever tasted.
Looks like fun. Might be going there this winter.
