I lived in L.A. in the early 90's and went to some dive of a club with some friends and saw this band I had never heard of called "The Beat Farmers". I still know nothing about them but I remember that show and the singer. He wore a yellow rain coat and slung beer around more then he drank. He was like a drunk pirate stalking the stage, ho ho ho and a bottle of rum. There was always a ready beer for him and he must have gone thru 30 or so.
