• EXCELENT

  • This is a very "shivering" video. =p

  • dude in the cock pit was playin guiles theme while landing

  • This video went viral on Bamako

  • cool, its like a more expensive Harrier that the british designed back in the 60's but just not as adaptable

  • Comment removed

  • ok just reading the INTENT of your channel, use everyone elses videos to get a lot of traffic through your page and get paid buy youtube along the way??hmmm I'll save my vids and make my own money off of them, Good idea though. sorry to post here but you have no comment section on your home page.

  • Bet it gets christened Stuka II by the Pilots that get stuck with it

  • No VIFF, I take it.

  • Test pilot for this pig = dream job!

  • is those real they used now in war zone

  • I hope this thing actually gets fixed before it's canceled.

  • @aarrmmeenndd100

F22 costs shit tons more than F35

  • i wonder how many pilot can fly it....harrier is hard to fly so what about this ?

  • @blackblack8888 This thing is completely computer stabilized in hover mode, and to move it just factors in your input into its stabilization.

  • @blackblack8888

Harrier was flown by the pilot, this is flown by computers. It'll be a doddle compared to the Harrier.

  • @helimeal this is what I don't like in electronic information technology. it make people weak, what if the computer is down ? those pilot will have no skill it's like playing a playstation or Xbox stimulator. sad but truth

  • This plane is fucking Cool. It's just an amazing piece of technology.

  • delayed

  • all of VTOL aircraft because of one brit and his harrier.

Cool looking plane except for that flap thing on top it looks stupid

  • @ViDeOMaStErPaUl Fortunately for us, looks play no part in the aircraft's functionality and superiority.

  • Ok, nice. How is this aeroplane going to do better than the British Harrier or Dassault Mirage Balzac ? There are concerns about its ability to keep stability during VTOL operations. Here, it does only a short take-off with no payload.

  • FUCKING AMAZING !!!

  • Not as sexy as the harrier....

  • Well, all of you have to remember, you're saying the Su-47 EXPERIMENTAL , Su-35 and T-50 are better than the F-22. Well, you gotta remember. The F-22 was being designed/developed in the 1980's. And it still beats the shit out of the Sukhois and MiG's.

  • Orgasmic!

  • it would be so awesome to add that engine to a car...vtol fliying car!!

  • If you want health care then get a job and pay for it yourself. Health care will break this nation more than these fighters.

  • It's really amazing!

  • Is it carrying a bag or someone has left their purse on it?

  • It would be silly to think that america got this nice bit of kit to fight the war on terror. Some Mullah in Baghdad isn't going to be deader because the F-35 has VTOL or semi-stealth capabilities. Pure pork barrel politics and over-budget disaster.

  • Good to see this machine moving forward - I have been concerned that this would break Lockheed Martin. It still might. The single engine thing concerns me though - we (Australia) have ordered 100 of the conventional variant but we lost 23/100 last time we had a single engine fighter and mostly to bird strikes etc. The low obs tech and joint-everything interoperability are both good but I don't like the idea of sending our boys and girls over tiger country with one engine. Get cracking guys.

  • DAYUM!

  • I would love to have one of those! man its so fascinating!!! I love your company! I was a faithfull harrier guy till i saw this!

  • hi there i am from Recife the northeast part of Brazil south America and i really appreciate your channel from down here...

  • i do admire music of a lockheedmartin videos

  • 素晴らしい!

    日本でも導入される事を望む。

  • おそらくない。日本政府は、2つのエンジンを航空機の望んでいる。これは1つのエンジン機です。

[Probably not. The Japanese government wants a two engine aircraft. This one is a single engine aircraft.]

  • I wonder if the f-35 is the most advanced piece of technology in human history so far?

  • Uuum yes!

It's like a Klingon Bird OF Prey! It closes it's doors and hatches and its cloaked! Invisible to sensors. Hovering death!...

  • @patio87 heard of LHC? think that wins

  • @owensy7

Yeah but the LHC is just a larger version of FermiLab which has been around since 1967, not exactly new technology, as far as I know.

  • @patio87 its not like they just read the manual of fermilab and made everything larger! its capabilities and complexities are far more then fermilab. LHC IS the most advanced piece of technology. i

  • @owensy7 As far as I have seen they are in fact pretty much the same thing. In fact they are rivals in the search for the higgs boson particle.

  • @patio87 It's just after iPad!

  • @patio87 - That's an interesting question. It is the "smartest" aircraft ever to fly, by far.

  • @patio87 No, the ITER reactor is.

  • @patio87 If you look at the Dassault Rafale, you could be surprised how good this fighter is and the technology included in each aircraft.

  • @patio87 Quite possibly. What this does for Americas military is it takes our 11 Aircraft battle groups and gives them absolute air superiority. Then it takes our 10 amphibious carriers which never had air superiority and also gives them absolute air superiority. This essentially doubles our battle groups air presence virtually overnight to over twenty naval battle groups with air superiority. Russia has 1 carrier that is sometimes deployed and China has zero. This puts us light years ahead.

  • @patio87 not exactly, the f-22 is much more advanced then the f-35. Although the f-35 allows vertical takeoff, It is a single engined task/joint fighter. This pretty much ensures the same problems that we have have other single engined fighters like the f-16. Add the fact that the Navy is replacing all of their fa18s with this. Even most of the a-10s will be replaced with this, which in my opinion is the worst idea ever. Trust me, I know what I am talking about. I work with these in AFROTC.

  • @patio87 the usa probally has something 20 times better than the f35 that they dont tell the public

  • Harrier had a limited vertical lift time (engine will overheat), harrier was NOT stealth (enemy can therefore find it), harrier did not have modern electronics (nor suited for warfare today), harrier was not supersonic (missile can catch it).

  • reminds me of how UFO levitate.. mm...

  • Why is America so bad ass?

  • ooh baby when he flicks it like that i shake like crazy!

  • I just got chills up my back...

  • God I want Canada to purchase these to replace the CF-18s.

  • lol this technique is from german patents stolen in 1945, wo thinks this is heroic us military is a fool

  • i want one

  • @Achack As do I

  • EPIC!!!!!!!!! That thing could kick the f22's ass

  • @zombiesurfer1

dude, get over it. it's not about who can kick who's ass. you sound like a fucking 2nd grader, except with a lower IQ.

  • The F-22 defies the laws of physics. Nothing in the world comes close to it. Nor will for a while

The F-35 is a great aircraft it's a lot better then the F/A-18, F-16 and the great American power house F-15. But aircraft like the Typhoon and Su-27 give the F-35 a good run for 2nd best fighter jet.

  • @ihavtugo Ya, i guess ur right

  • @ihavtugo f-22 does not defy the laws of physics lol.... too strong of a comment. a ufo would defy the laws of physics

  • The F-22 can vertically hover. The F-22 can also make turns only experimental planes can make. Being in the US air force I can tell you ive seen my share of aircraft fly. But the F-22 is the only aircraft that made my jaw drop.

Watch some videos of the F-22 at airshows. Or just go to an airshow yourself and experience the stunning demo the F-22 puts on.

  • @ihavtugo f-22 is a little behind on the whole thrust vectoring. check out the su-35 and 37. russia has been using it since the 90's but of course the f-22 is better technologically

  • The Su-35 and Su-37 don't have stealth. The F-22 obviously does. And that alone makes it better then both of them. Plus the fact that there both 4th generation aircraft. And I should also add the Su-37 is experimental.

  • @ihavtugo i never said either aircraft was better. i just said they out maneuver the f-22. the problem with the f-22 is they have really great radar but very shitty missiles. russia is currently developing the pak-fa which is pretty much a carbon copy of the f-22, but russia on the other hand has long range missiles. now imagine india or russia selling this airplane to another country that would be very ugly for the f-35 and f-22.

  • The Pak-fa is just experimental. And nobody even knows if it is as good as the F-22 or F-35.

And by the time the Pak-fa was finished. And was mass manufactured(if it ever is) The US would already have another aircraft out that could out perform it.

  • @ihavtugo its experimental in the way that the f-22 was experimental when it was being tested. this is going to be mass produced for russia and india. and our country won't be producing any new fighter aircraft for a long time to come, a large sign was they cut the f-22s production numbers. and i'm sorry to say but it looks like the t-50 has a better airframe than the f-22.

  • And what makes you think the US doesn't have aircraft being manufactured right now? The US always has weapons, aircraft and vehicles being tested. Just because you haven't heard about it doesn't mean it's not there. The F-117 and SR-71 being probably the two most famous.

The Pak-fa was made to show the US, Russia can make advanced aircraft as well. There is no real use for the F-22 and Pak-fa in this world except against each other. Neither country will sell them, there mainly for show.

  • @ihavtugo Every country is always testing new technologies no doubt about that, but you seem to not realize that the pak-fa is being mass produced in a couple of years and is a joint venture between India and Russia. Their first prototype just made its first flight. The plane is basically a clone of the f-22 which means back to the drawing board if we want to stay ahead of the game. And no these planes are not for show they are war planes and will see action in the future.

  • @ihavtugo No, the F22 cannot hover. The F22 can stall pretty well and may look like its hovering (As you saw at the airshow). But the raptor is one hot bird!!!

  • I never said the F-22 could hover like the F-35.

The F-22 can produce enough pound per pound force to keep itself stationary for a short time. Which is basically what you just said.

  • im not to sure

  • Actually, the F-35 is slower, less stealthy and and less maneuverable than the F-22. I believe it also has lesser sensor capabilities. It would not fare well against the F-22.

  • @BlackdirtWarrior Really

  • DUMBASS.... You have no IDEA what you are talking about !!

  • screw that the F--22 can kick any planes ass

  • no one in the world can touch us in military might

  • Jesus would be so proud...

  • yeah but Mohammad is crapping his pants right now...

  • thats cool lol

  • @fuckaroni77 lol y dl it just post it on some website and the whole world can see that bitch in action xD

  • To break America's WALLET permanently!! Your Tax Doltards doing nothing but lining the pockets of wealthy with INTEREST!!! Yeah...Hooray!!

  • dam talk about technology these days

  • oh no way, does it teach america's kids how to read too?

  • kooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • my car can do that!

  • Wait wait hang on everyone. First we need to provide healthcare to illegal immigrants.

  • lol, and the rest of the world

  • Wow a geeks paradise useless killing machines while the world wallows in joblessness, poverty and global warming....take it Disney and let little youngster ride up down all day on a billion dollar waste of money. The military industrial complex promotes and sanctions death.

  • haven't the brits had a plane like this for ages

  • That's so sick!! Now let's bomb something!!!!

  • Wat song I'd playing in backround I must know

  • oh man it looks like an anus at the back

  • USA!!!!! lets land on Ahmedeneghad's roof and steal his members only jacket

  • how sick is that

  • fake

  • haha, time to equip the cold blooded perk. you play cod on xbox if so whats your handle.

  • And it only cost a trillion dollars to develop... there's no money for health care, but somehow plenty for this.

  • @rickyspectacular

There is plenty of money for healthcare, its just lost in the beaurocracy, corruption, and government interference with the system.

  • @rickyspectacular get a job if you want healthcare you bum

  • @PetrolClock I think are acting out the roll that's expected of you, and not really thinking for yourself. Your hard earned tax dollars are better spent on stuff that benefits your friends and family - jobs in health care -jobs building a smart energy grid. Personally, I have a good paying job and excellent health coverage. I don't like to see taxpayer money wasted on these expensive toys.

  • @rickyspectacular yes i would love my tax dollars be spent of food stamps, welfare, and healthcare for fucking crack heads and illegal immigrants

  • @PetrolClock this is obviously not a conversation. You just want to be angry.

  • @rickyspectacular Toys? The primary goal of any nation is the common defense of its people, and you can't give a government a task and not give them the means to accomplish it. Certainly you can question the necessity of this aircraft to that mission, but it is no toy. I would agree that our tax dollars are to be spent wisely, but healthcare is a poor example; there is no provision in the constitution that reserves its regulation to the national government. It is thus, a matter for states.

  • @rickyspectacular if you can't protect your country then money for health care will be the last thing on your mind when you're getting a missle up your bum bum

  • @bitemysausage yeah i think the air force was sufficient before this aircraft. We have the two largest air forces. The USAF and the US Navy.

  • @GT35R

F-15s, F-16s and F-18s are old and need to be replaced. Not just for technological reasons but for air frame fatigue and inefficient maintenance costs.

  • @bitemysausage Why would anyone attack you?

  • @mrfrankincense great question, unfortunately it's reality. countries get attacked for power and greed. Therefore you must have planes to defend yourself. In a perfect world we wouldn't need it.

  • @bitemysausage What would they attack if you had no army? And how would you know, we haven't had a period with no military since we developed society.

  • @mrfrankincense Why would someone attack you if you had no army? Um, because they can. + yes you're right, we haven't had a period of no military since we developed society. Which brings us to how we "developed", it's been through war.. the big military machine brought you your comfy chair and safe home that you're sitting in right now. Sad but true. Now there's a whole lot of people out there that want to kick your ass. Don't be a fool in thinking cutting your military is a good idea.

  • @bitemysausage I said WHAT would they attack if you had no army. Also I'd give up my comfy chair for the hundreds of millions of people that have died from war in the past 100 years alone.

  • @bitemysausage The military do develop technology faster than in any other field behind physics, however the military rarely innovate on things which end up being used by most people, however Jet aircraft and satellite navigation would be examples. No military developed the technology that made my chair so comfy and my house isn't safe, my police force are.

  • @mrfrankincense unfortunately i don't see an america under attack

and america hasn't BEEN under attack since world war 2

all they need their military equipment for is prodding around in the businesses of other countries, attempting to install governments that can't work and are unwanted by the inhabitants

  • @AlexRider001 I agree entirely.

  • @mrfrankincense the plane is still pretty f*ckin cool though :D

  • @AlexRider001 Cool

  • @bitemysausage now the funny thing is that US already has thousands of military aircraft in the air. Adding F-35 is totally unnecessary as US Air Force already has F-22s, F-16s, F-15s, F/A-18s and so on. The main goal of the F-35 project is to sell the aircraft to NATO countries like Canada, UK, etc

  • @SovietUnity I agree but there is an added cost maintaining these old planes. Eventually they have to upgrade, even Canada had to do it. They had older CF-18's that were costing them more to maintain. Just like we all eventually need a new car.

  • @SovietUnity a jet fighter can't fly forever and is aging like people that's why it needs to be replaced

  • @bitemysausage health is a personal responsibility not the government.

what next a national hygiene funds program?

  • @rickyspectacular

    1. If you don't know the cost, don't make up bullshit numbers

    2. Health care doesn't need further funding, it just needs restructuring.

  • @cr9527 Sourced from Wikipedia "United States intends to buy a total of 2,443 aircraft for an estimated US$323 billion, making it the most expensive defense program ever.[14] "

This plane is a ridiculous waste of money. The US can't meet it's real challenges with a super expensive squadron of airplanes. Air superiority means nothing in an age when you can deliver a nuke in a shipping container.

  • @rickyspectacular

    Here is what you said

[And it only cost a trillion dollars to develop]

Oh wait, the entire PROCUREMENT cost is less than half a trillion.

Heck the DEVELOPMENT cost is somewhere around 50 billion.

btw, no country would be stupid enough to deliver a nuke via shipping against the US. That effectively signed their death warrant.

  • @cr9527 323 Billion is a lot of money, It's 323 thousand million dollars.

And as for your "No country would be stupid enough" comment... It doesn't have to be a country. A country didn't orchestrate 911. In retaliation, the US invaded a country with a giant army. Guess what... you never caught Osama.

Let me restate the obvious. There is no way a squadron of jets can defend you against your most real threats. Please stop arguing in the face of reason.

  • @rickyspectacular

It doesn't have to be a country.

Then you should talk about the budgets of national security, not armed forces.

Guess what... you never caught Osama.

And what is he currently doing? Al Qaeda booted him as he was causing more harm to the organization than good.

There is no way a squadron of jets can defend you against your most real threats.

So you are saying, US should disband their airforce, and leave themselves vulnerable against potential hostile Countries...

  • @cr9527 We are at an impasse, obviously. I suggest spending 323 Billion on a renewable energy infrastructure. America would be swimming in good jobs and the money that used to go to OPEC would stay at home. That is how you build national security in the 21st century... not by trying to relive Top Gun. It's cool if we agree to disagree. Be well.

  • @rickyspectacular

America needs new fighters as the airframe fatigue of their old legacy fighters are causing major maintenance costs, costs that rival the price of a new fighter.

If they didn't buy the F-35, they'd end up with almost no airforce, no naval air force.

  • that was badass

  • This was a very clean and smooth landing!!!!

  • Freaking Amazing, this has been in development forever.

  • psh i can do that in battlefield 2, it's not that hard

  • it's probably harder to do in bf2 LOL

  • enemy harriers inbound

  • @Isreallllll good ?. It's uses vectored thrust that allows an even and adjustable thrust ration down the full axis of the fuse. Hence the ports you see closing upon landing. Good ? Though.

  • photoshopp'd, am I rite?

  • 2010 Spring Break Video!

    DANCE TILL TOMORROW'S TODAY

  • All manned flights should end with proven functionality of drones. Why build a plane with human life safeguards, etc, etc. How many drones do you think could be built for the $300B that is budgeted for this jet? Drones are disposable at those prices. You wouldn't need fancy ordinance either, fly the drone to the target and run it into the ground if needed.

  • That fucking harrier keeps killing me un mw2

  • Wow how can it balance it self when the thrust is only from one end ?!

  • @Israellllllll I believe there is a fan in the middle that opens up on the B variant

  • I bet you can get alot of ass with that!

  • A lot of moving parts that can go wrong.

  • Am I totally wrong if i say that this type landing demands a lot of energy??

  • "hw25

That's why they normaly do not take off that way.

They also make a "light" version which should be able to take more payload, but without the vertical landing capability.

  • There will be so many more believed ufo sightings now

  • That would be handy in MW2 :P

  • sheer excellence man.....

  • Harrier strike, inbound!

  • The way it looks when the engine is down is like a wasp ready to sting. Call it wasp. Or flying scorpion. Or Stingjet

  • wtf final war of world !?

  • It must have been 7 kill streak, 6 if he was using hardline

  • umm its a harrier

    :)
