@MNJ0068 LP has that unique way to introduce the next song at the end of the previous one on the albums. When listening to the whole album together it sounds really cool because all of the songs flow together. It's a nice touch that they added to their music.

A lot of people don't like Link Park's new direction, but if you think about it, which two albums of them have been the same? Well, maybe their first two I guess.... But that's not the point. This album is kind of like a story. You have to listen from the beginning to the end in order to get what LP is trying to say to the world. They didn't just throw in some random tracks that have speeches in it.

Because they make songs based on what they really feel about certain things, and they do that by expressing it through music. I think that's what real music is. And hey, if you don't think the CD has no rhythm and is a disappointment, it's all cool. It's your opinion, I'm not allowed to change that.

Alot of LP's current album and videos focus on the morality issues about war and more specifically Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings. in their video of burning in the skies they feature many Japanese people and at the end the explosion, not to mention this track of Oppenheimer the 'creator" of the atomic bomb. Powerful stuff right there!

Not knocking LP's new album here, but this isn't a song. It's just a quote with some noise behind it. Yes it's clever and makes a statement, but it's still a bit of a pointless addition IMO, and I think most of the people who are backing this song up are blind LP fans. I like the band and the album, but this is criticism where criticism is appropriate, and most music critics agree that "songs" like this don't really add anything.
As Trent Reznor has already done, you don't need lyrics, but NIN started with this style, Linkin Park just jumping into this isn't a good sign. Metallica "jumped" into St. Anger and we all know how that turned out.

A Thousand Suns is reference to nuclear war. This is a concept album that seems to be about mankinds final minutes before it all goes to hell and the nukes go off. Look at the lyrics and most songs fit this.
For the people who don't know the man talking is it's Robert Oppenheimer, one of the scientist who developed the first atomic bomb, this was his quote for project "Trinity" And R.Oppenheimer is mostly seen as the man who brought theoretic science to america, some people believe that Robert said nothing more than "It worked!" According to his brother. In my opinion I think that he indeed said the things about Bhagavad-Gita because he has alot of knowledge about Eastern religion.

This album is kind of like a story. You have to listen from the beginning to the end in order to get what LP is trying to say to the world. They didn't just throw in some random tracks that have speeches in it.

@videogyar2 I suppose 'real' music to you is nu-metal and all those hardcore stuff? This is just my opinion, but LP has been creating 'real' music ever since they came out, and they still do. Why? Because they make songs based on what they really feel about certain things, and they do that by expressing it through music. I think that's what real music is. And hey, if you don't think the CD has no rhythm and is a disappointment, it's all cool. It's your opinion, I'm not allowed to change that.

Alot of LP's current album and videos focus on the morality issues about war and more specifically Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings. in their video of burning in the skies they feature many Japanese people and at the end the explosion, not to mention this track of Oppenheimer the 'creator" of the atomic bomb. Powerful stuff right there!

Not knocking LP's new album here, but this isn't a song. It's just a quote with some noise behind it. Yes it's clever and makes a statement, but it's still a bit of a pointless addition IMO, and I think most of the people who are backing this song up are blind LP fans. I like the band and the album, but this is criticism where criticism is appropriate, and most music critics agree that "songs" like this don't really add anything.

It is really good. I'm impress, I've been lsitening the whole album, and they have really grown up in understanding Music.
The way the have express different things through this album, the way they have used a variety of sounds...
Perhaps most of people won't understand it and won't like it, but... If we talk about music with essence and sounds, I have to say that LP has done a great work in this album.

A Thousand Suns is reference to nuclear war. This is a concept album that seems to be about mankinds final minutes before it all goes to hell and the nukes go off. Look at the lyrics and most songs fit this.

For the people who don't know the man talking is it's Robert Oppenheimer, one of the scientist who developed the first atomic bomb, this was his quote for project "Trinity" And R.Oppenheimer is mostly seen as the man who brought theoretic science to america, some people believe that Robert said nothing more than "It worked!" According to his brother. In my opinion I think that he indeed said the things about Bhagavad-Gita because he has alot of knowledge about Eastern religion.
