  • Ok i love all the features on the M5 but...yes, you'll find some people saying is a very good tool, but...there seems to be a common problem with it while playing a gig...sometimes the screen blinks and you literally loose your sound...yes...you go mute until you unplug and plug back again the adapter...sometimes you just have to stomp the tuner button on and off and you get the signal back...that's weird and even my tech haven't found what the problem could be. Anyone with the same problem???

  • This video is a favorite on Vaduz

  • Great demo. WHat amp what your guitar going through?

  • @trumarksurfnut Software Fender Twin Model for a good basic sound.

  • Totally the wrong kind of playing for the particle verb. It's like playing country on a BC Rich Warlock.

  • You have a very relaxing voice.

  • This or the boss ME-25? This has the better effects, but you get more for your money with the boss.

  • Where is the review?? This is a demo

  • Can I use two effects at once? like the particle verb and say distortion etc. etc. ?

  • @SteezSandwich No, check the description link... if it could play at least two at a time it would be freakin awesome! it's like a pedal that takes, lets say, different forms :P

  • where would you place this in a chain, after the overdrive pedals?

  • sounds very digital

  • can i use with my stomp box.. Guy ??? i wish it can be the great mod for me...

  • can i use a standard 9v adapter like boss or i need to run this with the line6 adapter?

  • I also am wondering if it has a looper?

  • Does this have a looper in it like the DL4?

  • Can this go in a Guitar Amp FX loop?

  • @odgeUK yes, no problem

  • Thanks for the demo, I now have one and it seems the only way to turn it on or off is to remove the power source connection. I can't find a power switch! I just want to be sure I'm not missing something.

  • Can you combine a few different effects into one preset??

  • @floritejoe The M9 and M13's are the ones you should look at for multi fx patches.

  • does it degradate the original guitar tone???

  • @mauroo33 The Line 6 and M series pedals feature in many pro guitar setups so no real issue there. You can select true bypass as well.

  • Great demo. It'd make me buy one if I'd not just splashed out on a TC G System(!)

Love the humour in the captions too. Keep it up!

  • @Thumbshifter Thanks Mr Shifter.

  • Awesome thanks. I'm not sure I can tapdance fast enough to swap channels live but otherwise that pedal is effing amazing.

  • BUT CAN YOU SWAP PRESETS ON THE FLY?!?!?!?!

  • @potp5150 YES, EITHER ENTER PRESET MODE THEN UP AND DOWN TO SELECT THE PRESET YOU WANT AND THEN PRESS BOTH TOGETHER TO RECALL THAT PRESET .

THE OTHER WAY IS IN THE SYSTEM MENU, SELECT INSTANT RECALL SO WHEN YOU SCROLL THROUGH THEM THEY LOAD AS YOU GO SO BETTER TO ORGANISE THEM BEFOREHAND

    Caps lock now off. xxx

  • @NevadaMusicUK

You could also hook it up to a Boss GFC-50 or a Midi-mouse or something like that.

That's something I think you missed out on, it's a great pedal to add to an already midi-controlled setup, integrates perfectly!

  • can you use the expression pedal as a wha wha?

  • @vitriol81 Absolutely yes.

  • good demo at last

  • @tpbable Thanks, I'm not the greatest player but you get to here all the sounds though which is the important bit.

  • ALL of those sounds are dreamy!!! Only for 195€!!

  • 100+ FX and not one would I use.

To be fair the reverbs and delays sound OK but I'm not impressed by the overdrive/distortions.And the rest are a waste of time.

  • @kingstumble But a lot of the FX are all modelled on an original pedal, and they are the same ones that are in the very well respected M13 & M9. Classic pedals can't surely be considered an waste of time, although I agree it would sound better through your own guitar and amp set up.

  • @NevadaMusicUK I take your point but all I meant was that for me they are a waste of time because I don't use 'em! In the past I've tried phasers, flangers, choruses and the like but these days it's simply a Guild Bluesbird or Tele +Zendrive into a Fender Bassman--and that's it.

Nothing makes a guitar sound more dated than if it's soaked in FX. Just my opinion of course.

  • Great - except your guitar is never quite in tune through the whole thing. Echo and mod FX sound great - the distortion FX are well... they sound like Line 6. Appreciate the sub-titles very much - some of the models are pretty good likenesses of the real thing.

  • What a cool little box!

  • What amp and guitar did you use?

  • @dincorcelles To capture the M5 in stereo we used a software Fender Blackface amp model set up as basic clean.

  • Nice video... very nice
