um airraideagle: one of the major, amazing things about loving the Lord is His grace towards us and His love. Amy is just a woman trying her best in this life as we all do and the way she fought for her marriage for so long just shows her strength and faith. Being a Christian is not about being perfect, it is about being who we are to the best of our ability and being perfectly loved by Father God no matter what. His grace covers us and His love is the only thing that gets us through.

If people would realize that Amy's first husband had a drinking problem and Amy even tried to get him in rehab before they divorced...but he wouldn't get help. She is so classy she hasn't even told the public all that she endured in her first marriage...I don't have anything negative to say about her.

Amy Grant is an adulterous family-destroying CUNT. How DARE she call herself a Christian when she helped wrecked TWO families with Vince Gill (a non-Christian from the start). I cannot think of anything more DISGUSTING and SICKENING than a hugely influential Christian doing the most UNCHRISTIAN things. She divorced Gary and married Vince because she wanted what SHE wanted, everyone else be damned. She didn't care who got hurt, including her CHILDREN.

Amy Grant got "lost along the way" because she simply decided to be a SELFISH UNFAITHFUL wife by having an affair with Vince Gill, then divorced her husband Gary Chapman, and married her lover. I'm so tired of hearing this watered down, sugar coated by her when she says "difficult times" "mess of things", she isn't Christian enough to admit she REALLY screwed up her family.

You moron, Amy never had an affair with Vince. She had feelings for him while she was getting divorced from her drug-addict husband. She waited until after her divorce to start a relationship with Vince, and they didn't sleep together until after they were remarried.

I wanted to mention that Amy and Vince had an on-going affair in the 90s while they were both each still married to their first spouses, before they got divorced and remarried. The whole affair, divorce, remarriage was completely adulterous and it DESTROYED two families. I cannot imagine that Amy's first husband (Gary) or Vince's first wife (Janis) or their children, are very happy about this. It was a very sad, regretable thing that Amy & Vince did.

Shame on them both.

I wonder why she didn't get pissed off when he mentioned the divorce between her and Gary? She could've said "It's Personal" but I guess she was too polite to tell him that.
