  • @4:52 you can almost see JT's face :O probably the closest we will ever get to seeing it :(

  • You're so brave and amazing. I'm too nervous to carry a gun in public, even within a CCW State. My primary concern is liability. God forbid, somebody pulls a gun/knife on me, and I shoot them, I'm going to jail.

Then I'll have to spend thousands on a lawyer and lengthy court battle. These prosecutors are so slick. They'll try to get me for murder charges. If lucky, maybe the charges can be reduced to voluntary manslaughter.

I'll just stick with Mace. Regardless, I admire you.

  • PARANOID.

  • @urjhg ...said the guy (YOU) waiting to be a future victim...lol!

  • Y do u need a hand cuff key? Also do u surf if so what do u carry then?

  • @wolfarmy2525 ..."Asked and Answered." As for what to carry at the pool or the beach watch my Benchmade Folding Dive Knife video. Like anything else in life..."you adapt, improvised, and overcome!"

  • is that hand cuff key incase you get arrested for carrying the equivalent of a tank?

  • @WACHANYSHT ...not just if I get arrested. A certain group of people handcuff you too...to baseball bat your knees, or to torture you, or extract retribution, and/or to take what you're guarding or protecting then kill you.

Or perhaps I need it to un-cuff the scumbag I arrested...

  • @HELLZZARMY is it a universal key...like a skeleton key?...or are they myth?

  • @WACHANYSHT ...the one I showed is just a Safariland over-sized handcuff key. Lock-picks is what I would consider a universal keys...them and shotguns...lol!

  • @HELLZZARMY Lmao if you all ready haven you should do videos about your past because you seem like a james bond...or if you told us would you have to kill us XP

  • i have those exact glasses and im 100% sure they are oakley crosshairs rather than crossfires

  • @XDmattXD1 ...pointed out by munkey940 last month. Annotation in video.

  • yeah, didnt see until after i posted comment

  • I know its great to be prepared and in my heart of hearts thats probably what I would carry if there were no restrictions but I still can;t help but think, "JT seems a bit paranoid." I mean if thats really what you need to go get milk....... Carry a .22wmr naa mini revolver and I feel fine.....

  • You ain't messin' around with that EDC, JT. That's a tough collection of good stuff. I second your sentiment on the belt. I currently use the 5.11 Trainer belt, also a very well made, tough, supportive belt.

  • thank you JT for answering my question i have learned something new today and never heard of the LEOSA act until today,so basically it tells the chief of police in hawaii to kiss your ass if your ex LE and you can and will carry regardless.

  • Sounds like what'd id carry. Other than the gun cuz im not QUITE legaly allowed to carry a fire arm. I don't leave the house with at LEAST two blades, a light and a multi tool. And of corse phone and wallet. Great vid.

  • Is that the wave on ur cqc and if it is do you like/use it?

  • @running594 ...10-4...like/use it...works great!

  • have you ever had to use any of this stuff to defend your life or others

  • @SinisterSurgeon ...10-4...BTDT.

  • I dont mean to be a dick and I dont care what you carry but all your gear looks fresh out the box....

  • @michael1980123 ...well you ARE...lol! IMPLIED earlier: @RussianVitamines ...the Glock 23 is about (2) years old (wear from use not picked-up in video), Oakleys are new, everything else is over (6) months old. You have to take care of your gear if you want it to function properly when the time comes. Velcro???

  • I know a while back there was a stabbing on your side of the island. You remember. I think a teacher died. Yes it nice to have that privilege. Nice EDC!!

  • i always carry alot of blades all the time and people ask me why and i just smile and say "You cant make an omelet without breaking the eggs."

  • Hey bro great video. I think that milk and cookie guy left me a comment like that too... Its people like us that catch a lot of crap and those people will be the same people jumping for cover behind us... Gotta love the Blackhawk riggers belt. Keep doing what you do man. Feel free to drop me a line any time.

  • Good vid, the only down side is reading the comments - to many idiots asking stupid questions - stay safe.

  • Hey Youtube...JT here.

    ...lol!

    Really keepin' tradition ay?

  • Ask & Answered: the handcuff key is to lock/unlock the handcuffs kept in my driver's side door and just in case...lol!

  • @HELLZZARMY Nice, thank you! -Nax

  • Hmm.. hand cuff key, but no hand cuffs. someones ready to break out. haha

  • awhile back i commented saying you carry to much but now i see that if you can carry it why not

  • great as usual brudda !!! late seeing these... I had the bug as well !!!

  • I also carry a gun and two knives.(s&w 642, victorinox hiker, and a spyderco delica.)

  • also it says you have 13+1 mags for your .40? how do you carry that when anything over 10 rounds in a pistol is illegal in hawaii?and why the two folding knives?i never heard of a knife failing in a EDC urban situation maybe in a wilderness survival 2 knives is a must but on the mean streets of oahu??Not trying to be a douche i really am asking how is this possible in a state with worst gun laws than cali? I lived there for almost all my life and never heard of anyone able to carry what u do

  • @jojo664769 Watch his FAQ video, but my guess is that JT is retired LEO, tight haircut, tight mustache, looks like a man who carried a badge to me. I guess it's up to speculation, but use your brain and think...If not LE, maybe military or armed security, but not the average joe.

  • @mrpicky510 ok but regardless the police of chief doesnt issue conceled carry permits to anyone including ex law enforcement and he damn sure could care less if your military and there is no armed security jobs in hawaii.YEah i heard him when he said he's ex law enforcement and i believe him didnt call bullshit on anything he said.use my brain?why dont you use your brain no one said he wasnt LE actually he flat out said so and your just guessing.do you live in hawaii? if u do do u have a CCW?

  • @jojo664769 ...Wow! guys no need to into it like this. 1st off know it's human nature you either like me or don't. 2nd I don't think I ever mentioned what I did. 3rd I always said only Law Enforcement and Criminals are carrying guns here. There ARE exceptions.

Now for those curious look up H.R. Bill 218 signed by then President George W. Bush on 22 July 2004 now known as the LEOSA act. Also there IS armed security here...for ex: one comes under the auspiciouses of Homeland Security.

  • @HELLZZARMY ...that being said who cares what I did or am doing. Watch my videos or don't watch my videos.

  • @jojo664769 well your taking a lot of issue with the whole brain thing but let's move on, I don't think JT ever said he was ex law enforcement and if he did, point me in the direction of the video where he said such, I was just deducing from the evidence I've seen. And no, I don't live in Hawaii, never been there, but I live in the liberal land of California, and I work for my county in a capacity that is centered around legal gun carrying. Anyway JT answered us both so PM him for more info

  • @mrpicky510 ...Wow! guys no need to into it like this. 1st off know it's human nature you either like me or don't. 2nd I don't think I ever mentioned what I did. 3rd I always said only Law Enforcement and Criminals are carrying guns here. There ARE exceptions.

  • my question is how do u carry all that?its hawaii and its virtually impossible to get a conceal carry permit and there is no open carry there either. I know of ex cops, military fbi and whatever thats denied permits in that state so how are you carrying?

  • why do you have a handcuff key?

  • @machinegun911 ...Ask & Answered: the handcuff key is to lock/unlock the handcuffs kept in my driver's side door and just in case...lol!

  • Whys it matter y people carry guns and knifes. Its our rights as American citizen and if someone wants 2 carry it in a store as long as its legal in that state so be it.

  • Nice system, but why do you carry handcuff keys? To escape from the cops perhaps? Thanks. -Nax

  • @NaxTactical ...Ask & Answered: the handcuff key is to lock/unlock the handcuffs kept in my driver's side door and just in case...lol!

  • i am impressed of the condition of your gear, even it was EDC'ing for 6 or more months... No scratches, no pocket dust and sweat marks, no crap on velcro, ammo looks like right out of box...

  • @RussianVitamines ...the Glock 23 is about (2) years old (wear from use not picked-up in video), Oakleys are new, everything else is over (6) months old. You have to take care of your gear if you want it to function properly when the time comes. Velcro???

    Now if you're being a DOUCHE...stop hating...lol!

  • Cool vid man. All great choices, thanks for sharing!

  • Hey JT: I don't see anything wrong with that EDC. Good vid. My EDC is very similar. I can run with mine, using genaric cargo shorts, so I don't see what living in Hawaii has anything to do with it. I live in Florida, and probably have similar dress issues as you. You are just well prepared. Watch your six too.

  • I have to get a mid size pistol I usually carry my G-21 OR MUSTANG 380. Jeans for 21 and Cargo shorts for the Stang. But I like you don't leave home without one and during cold weather i carry both. with two spyderco Endura 4. I don't need a five minute delay to rescue my ass. Keep it up JT and to all the Haters, good luck. Dont under estimate the 300 pounder wearing shorts and saddles.

  • Oh man that stinger really stings. I was at a party a while back and this guy was gettin' too close, he was drunk. So palmed it, hit him in the shoulder and needless to say he backed off.

Owe it to you for introducing it to me.

  • @Valerieannleeh ...you're welcome! Glad you got one and that's another real life anecdote on the Comtech Stinger!

  • Another awesome vid JT! Thnx for taking the time to make these vids. Stay safe brother.

  • nice edc hellzarmy. keep it up!!

  • nice strider love it jw whats the hand cuff key for??

  • @juggalo95nickr ...Ask & Answered: the handcuff key is to lock/unlock the handcuffs kept in my driver's side door and just in case...lol!

  • Good gear all across the board!!! But I am sure you know that LOL.

  • JT, what brand/kind of pistol safe do you own, if you happened to own one...looking towards getting one, but need recommendation..

  • That strider is sick bro! When I get $550.00 to blow, thats what I would buy! This Gun/Knife addiction of mine is getting expensive LOL. Your videos always give me new ideas of what I want. You have awesome taste in Firearms/Knives.

  • @birdman445566 ...thanks...I know what I like...lol!

  • @HELLZZARMY Hey, you know what you should do? make a video before you go somewhere and show your EDC. I mean some people would still think you're full of it but it kinda proves it. or even a video driving somewhere with your EDC. I think nutnfancy has done something similar to that.

  • Great vid bro! Gotta love being prepared and nice belt!

  • Nice setup JT

  • @homegrownsurvivor ...yeah I was carrying my Springfield "fully loaded" 1911-A1 .45 acp for a while but, I love Glocks too! I got (4) 1911 style .45s (including Kimber Warrior), HK USP .45 and a HK USP.45 CT just to name a few firearms.

    10-4...I got a Glock 22 with a Lone Wolf ported barrel (see videos), another Glock 23, a Glock 30 (.45 acp), and a Glock 26 (9mm).

  • hey HELLZZARMY im a big fan of yours, always watching your videos men, actually im a police officer here in the philippines, i always tke some tips on how to organize may regular EDC bro hope you can email me godzilla_00181925@yahoo.com.ph. hope you do more videos bro.tkae care

  • Do you watch TOP SHOT on histroy channel?

  • @BeserkBomb ...I've seen a couple of episodes but, I'm more into shows like, Spartacus: Blood and Sand, the prequel "Gods of the Arena, House, Chicago Code, and Nikita.

  • Are the gunner grips on the strider comfortable

  • I'm prepared and ur an idiot! Now that's funny.

  • With sunglasses I always wear "work" glasses that can take an impact without shattering. Also like them to wrap around your eyes a bit so they are protected from the sides. (if somebody lets off a mace spray it might reduce exposure)

The ones I have at the moment are a lot like the blue irridium glasses you showed in your "Go big or go home" edc video.

    Thanks

  • Just out of curiosity, why do you carry a cuff key? In no way am I trying to be a dick, just curious.

  • @docwondernuts ...I keep a set of cuff in the side of door of my vehicle and just in case I find myself wearing a set of stainless steel bracelets...lol! I'm not Houdini...I need a key!

  • I'm calling bullshit!!

Nah just kidding, keep up the good vids dude!

  • I wear a Spec-Ops brand "rigger" belt daily in uniform...Very similar to the one you showed. Love that belt, they're awesome. For going out and carrying, I wear a Spec-Ops "Better BDU" belt...just a basic, balliistic nylon belt. The heart of a comfortable EDC system is indeed the belt.

All I own as far as sunglasses go are Oakley. I have the Juliets, Gascan S.I., Canteen, Half Jackets, M-frames and M-frame 2.0 (on-duty), and some old Half Wires. Oakley is superior.

    Great video man!

  • Sweet EDC bro! Thanks for making it.

  • @humans4targets2 ...thanks Paul isn't time for an EDC update from you?

  • @HELLZZARMY If my holster and gun belt ever gets here.... Been about three weeks since I ordered it....

  • You make a mean vid brother, How strong do you find the liner lock on the emersons. I want to flip the bills on one so bad, Just never held one before and all my buying is over the net since hands on is hard here in MD.

  • @jmce3 ...I have complete confidence in Emersons titanium liner locks. I heard they had a bad run about 4-5 years ago but, corrected the problem. I myself have been carrying Emerson knives since the early 90's in some form or another and I never had a problem with their blades!

  • Thanks for the information. I have made great purchases based on your comments. It helps me not have to do so much research and gives a better view than a web site. Peace and Thanks.

  • nice edc. nice vid. did you know there is some douche-bag on youtube that has a 40 min edc vid and edc's a plastic knife, fork, and spoon.

  • @fisherdigital ...no I didn't but, there's a lot of weird things on youtube and the internet in general...lol!

  • Those are the Crosshair 2.0. There's no frame called Crossfire.

    Just a heads up

  • @munkey940 ...10-4...mistake on my part. Thanks for pointing that out.

  • I thought Hawaii was a bit liberal. I did not realize they allow concealed handgun carry.

  • where the hell do u live the warzone next to the ghetto

  • WELL JT, IF YOU ARE OVERPREPARED, I STILL WOULDNT MIND HAVING YOU ALONG TO HELP ME GET SOME MILK AND COOKIES! YOU ARE THE MAN ( ALBEIT OVERPREPARED IN SOME JACK ASSES BOOK)! GREAT VID AS ALWAYS! ALSO, ONE THOUGHT IN SUPPORT OF THE EXTRA MAGAZINES: MOST PROBLEMS WITH HANDGUNS CAN BE SOLVED WITH THE INTRODUCTION OF A FRESH MAG! I ALWAYS CARRY TWO EXTRA MAGS TOO!

  • Do you need all that stuff? Probably not. But, do you want all that stuff? Hell Yea!!!

  • That is one badass EDC.

Just curious though, when it comes to simple EDC cutting tasks which of those two bad MOFOS do you reach for more frequently? The Strider or the Emerson?

  • @gamerfromcanada ...neither I use what ever multi-tool I'm carrying at the time.

  • Do cops have to have CCW permits? As long as they're active/ non-retired?

  • @ThaBR33D ...Law Enforcement here don't need CCW permits.

  • at the 4.51 mark we can see jt on the glasses reflection something you dont see everyday

  • Great EDC, always the best quality stuff in your inventory.

  • Very nice gear, you have great taste!

  • I like the Leatherman Juice S2 myself

  • nevermind

  • what, no multi-tool?

  • HELLZZARMY is so bad ass. Don't mess with JT in a dark alley! What do you think of the 5.11 belts? They look sturdy enough.

  • @ManVsZ0MBiE ...they're well-made too but, last year I bought a 5.11 tactical belt in large because that's what my Blackhawk is...I like a good amount of overlap just like my watchbands. Different brands fit differently 5.11 large is more like a Blackhawk medium. I gave it to one of my older sons.

  • @slit555 I'm a liberal (and NRA member) and carry concealed everyday. Try not to vilify people because they do not agree with you. Stay frosty.

  • good vid!

    +++++

  • hey JT.

i was stopped and searched by two cops who told me that possesion of the stinger in the UK is illegal and i was lucky that they didnt arrest me for having it...so yeah i dont know if you remember before us talking about it.

    nice gear anyway

    jay

  • @modelearth The law in the UK is intended to be hard to read, and be pretty much entirely down to the police whether it is deemed legal or illegal. In the UK, anything you have on you can be deemed by the police to be an offensive weapon. The fact that you were stopped and searched in the first place does not reflect well on how they will interpret what you are carrying.

  • @modelearth ...yeah you guys got it rough...some strict laws limiting what you can carry. Did I mention donrearic(dot)com to you? He's got some good articles on self-defense and the like. Including one on carrying legal in the UK.

  • Who gives a damn for those who don't believe you? Hell I'd be happy if I lived near you and knew you.

Anyway here's sth that could be an interesting topic for a vid - gun calibers. It's an on going discussion of 9mm vs 40s&w vs 45acp, and since you used guns it would be interesting to hear your take on it

  • hey JT just a quick question, i used to carry in florida, and i stopped my last trip because every where i went, i found myself jumpin in pools or the ocean. what you do with your carry gun when you want to go swimming?

  • @fumanmark973 ...I either clip my Spyderco H20 or Benchmade folding dive knive in the waistband of my board shorts and have my other gear in say a Maxpedition versipak ( hidden in an oversized bag) or I put a Glock (in a large ziplock bag) in my igloo cube cooler (some plastic blue ice on top of it). Needless to say someone has to watch these and other personal items (real cooler) . Improvise, Adapt, Overcome...

Either that or leave it locked in the car...not having immediate access to it.

  • Good to think about levels of force too, not every encounter you'll need to shoot someone, a can of OC and a taser would be good. You gotta think legal.

  • I don't understand when people post a video and then complain on their next video about comments they recieved on their last video. Why do you care what some kid says? And why would you let it bother you so bad that you just had to mention it in your next video? You're just fueling his fire. If you don't like it sooo much, why post videos on here then? Cause you're garaunteed to get that stuff when you post videos on here. Just my two cents.I like your videos, does that count?

  • you know youre addicted to knives when your secondary knife is a $500 LOL

  • Love ur EDC. They can call us crazys but wen the shit hits the fan theyll be glad we were their

  • ignore the morons. i love your edc vids. the bigger you are the more you can carry!

  • i dont go anywhere without a gun and 2 mags, at night time i will add a surefire light in there, but i dont carry a knife as much as i should i guess.

  • That's a sweet holster! lol And fuck those liberals who think it's stupid to carry a gun, just wait 'till they see the shit-stained side of humanity, then they'll want all the guns they can get! haha

  • GREAT VIDEO i enjoyed watching this and comparing it to my own EDC i do not find a need for a gun BUT THAT IS JUST ME SO DON'T START HATING ON ME. I believe that the flashlight knives and last resort belt is enough for my EDC. I do not live in a high crime area so my kit is smaller than his, but like what he said "WHEN THE SHIT HITS THE FAN I AM GONNA RESPOND WITH VIOLENCE" Great saying and great video 5/5 :D

  • nice edc friend. I couldn't agree more about the belt. I wear a black hawk rigger belt, I love it

  • I've said this before but its good to know we have heros among us. That's some wicked gear especially that watch and that like.200+ lumens that's crazy!

  • Does that belt fit through standard belt loops on blue jeans? How do you where it?

  • J.t, I'm a big dude, tall tuff n stalky. ive gone thru a couple belts in the past year. even top shelf leather stretches n distorts in time. how well will the last resort belt last in your opinion?

  • @tapout320 ...through normal everyday use even carrying what I carry...my old belt lasted over (3) years. The velcro will brunt most of the wear and tear.

  • when your looking at the cookies is when u in trouble ur looking at cookies u mite need the knifes to get in to the bags some people dont think

  • those glasses are sick. how much were they

  • @knifertheworks ...they had to be sent to Oakley to have my prescription lens put in...$350.00

  • PERFECT

  • woh !! all i carry is my LV wallet, iphone 4, Rolex GMT II, ZT 350 and delica 4 oh and any jewellery :)

  • Perfect EDC JT! I carry almost the same way bro. Glock 23 gen 4 is what I just got and I love it!

  • Do you have any experience or knowledge about the Viper last resort belt? They seem to just copy Blackhawk and sell the 'same' belt, but at a cheaper price. I'm unsure as to whether it could be used in a similar manner, or whether it is simply going for 'the look' of the Blackhawk.

  • @TheEnglishRedneck45 ..Sorry no experience with the Viper brand so I couldn't give an opinion. I've used Eagle Industries, Wilderness, Uncle Mike, 5.11 Tactical, and Blackhawk.

They're all pretty good. Uncle Mikes be the most in expensive but, I prefer Blackhawks Instructors "Last Resort" belt.

  • Great EDC JT!! don't pay attention to the heaters!! f@ck them all!!

  • Don't let the nobodies get to you bro. They lack the tactical mind set and as they say " Worry is interest the unprepared must pay ".

  • @CCWeveryday ...10-4..."Joe Blow who doesn't know eh...lol!

  • Do you have a beard LOL I believe you btw

  • Do you have a beard LOL

  • The Fenix R5 is 180 the R4 is 205. ;)

    ~ TH

  • 4:52 I finally see your face, kinda like the neighbor from home improvement

  • I believe you JT!!!

  • Gotta love an Emerson for an EDC. I wanted to EDC a great knife, not a mediocre one. Started carrying a Specwar A. The profile in the pocket is so thin and unobtrusive it's amazing. Great setup JT. I'm interested in what you've used your EDC for, ya know those unexpected situations that set ya on track for never leaving without your EDC kit. Thanks for the vid.

  • @takenomorimonster ...10-4...my SpecWar-A is slimmer compared to my CQC-15, Commanders, CQC-8, CQC-11, etc...

  • the one time you dont have your kit will be the one time you need it. also check out duluth trading company for clothes, they are super comfy, decent looking, rugged and have lots of big pockets. i love em.

  • I'm Not really sure of the use of the hand cuff key

  • don't blame you for carrying all that, hope for the best, prepare for the worst. also i could kind of see your face in the sunglasses lol.

  • i think you crarry that, i know a guy that carries 3 guns

  • Nice EDC. I also carry at least 2 knives and a rescue knife. One is only for self defence and I try to keep it as sharp as possible while the other one is a heavy use tool that I beat the shit out of it.

  • I wish we could legally carry, concealed or not. Like u stated. Only law HPD & criminals I used to carry a sig 220. Now got wife and kids. Any firearm charge is min. 1year.

    Now it's 2 blades - ( ZT 350 & china spider)

Master lock on a rag in r/r pocket - ( it's also used to lock my brake rotor on my bob. Just gotta be aware. Hawaii getting kinda nuts. Ewa always was! Take care.

  • wait how to you carry the strider in the left front pocket? you cant clip it left side do you just drop it in the pocket?

  • @WarThug13 ...10-4...you can clip it to the inside of your left pocket. You just have to practice drawing and deploying it with your left hand.

  • @WarThug13 ...any "right-handed" design knife can be clipped to the inside of your left pocket.

  • Man, JT, you gotta show your face in one of you video's already! LOL

I want to put a face on this mysterious killer.

    Don't carry the ASP anymore?

  • @GMGvanS Maybe if he shows his face he will have to kill us all ... so im not sure about that.

I dont know about you but Im too young to die.

  • @GMGvanS you can see his face in this one, look at the reflection in the shades.

  • @Stonyman65 Sure you can, you can see it in other video's. But I don't want to use these sneaky ways to look at his face... That's weird!

  • @GMGvanS ...no just switching out gear. Plus I have another one ready to go inside my vehicle.

  • @HELLZZARMY That's what I love about you, JT. Always prepared. Stay safe.

  • a gun is by far the best last ditch self defense weapon you can buy, of course you need extra mags. a knife is the number one most useful tool you can have with you and a weapon second, its good to have 2 for different jobs. flashlights are probably the most needed and used tool, and another non lethal self defense would be good too...i dont see anything wrong with what you have lol

  • Cool edc man :)

  • OMG... J.T....PLEASE say you regularly get picked up by a helicopter via your belt... You are my fuckeen hero.

  • Nice EDC and video!

  • Nice edc! Better to be prepared than dead eh?

  • @2xwcs u canadian bro?

  • @zZ0MBi3Zz ...nope.

  • Two is one and one is none, words to live by. Bet people when they lose their knife during a combat situation, or fuck any situation wish they had another one. Same for the magazines and backup SD weapon.

  • Well, I just wanna know if you are incriminating yourself, or if you actually got a carry permit. Either way, it's badass! :D

  • Pimp set up as always JT

  • Very Nice!!

  • i carry full size 1911 2 extra mags 2 knives and a light every time i go out even to check the mail so i here ya JT loud and clear watch your 6 thanks

  • Ive always carried a handcuff key on my key ring...which makes me curious why you keep yours separate? Excellent EDC as always!
