  • Your guitar Is AWESOME! lol good video also

  • by the way:do you have tabs for this?´cause i tabbed it out myself by hearing the song over and over again, but i did not^100%

  • to get the right sound for this song octave/fuzz pedal....josh uses a fulltone ultimate octave(so do i).....for the solo you just need to kick the octave up button and neck pick up

  • is that a carvin

  • okay, every one is argueing over what pedals and stuff/settings you need to use to get this effect. Frankly, you only need two different pedal types. One is an octave up/ring mod effects pedal like a byoc green ringer or a ringer stinger etc. The other can be pretty much any crunchy/smooth distortion you can find, for this solo though a big muff russian would be suited best.

  • to nail this solo i have my wahwah pedal on (up) so it gives that kinda scratchy warm and deep sound

  • to really get qotsa tone, u shuld use a big muff & use a rhythm pickup.

The big muff will give u that raw crackly type of sound that they use, and the rhythm pickup will give a warm tone for the solo.

    QOTSA like deep warm tone!

  • I have a big muff. It's good for playing qotsa as long as you don't put too much distortion/fuzz, it' sounds too wet and muddy for qotsa. It's all about the tone : turn you tone knob on your guitar down to 0, keep the treble and tone quite low and the bass high on your amp and pedals, play around with you stuff and you will perhaps find a qotsa like sound. It's acually impossible to get exactly the same sound as qotsa.

  • Nice! :)

  • can you tell me where'd you got that tabs from...thx

  • this is great!

  • this is the best of little sister covers in youtube, man...You practiced it now you play it awesome

  • thats was sick, nice work!
