  • Im atheist and this song is Great! I dont see why people have a problem with it. Like InfamousGrey said their a band about myths and lore and the like.

  • The song Portals of Light is about grieving for a loved one as they make their way to Heaven... so... I'd just say it's a band that does songs that they enjoy to sing or have meaning based on legend/lore/religion/fantasy. Who cares? It's good.

  • for all of you who wonder, this song is based on the book/movie named "the name of the rose"

    it is a murder mystery

  • this man has the voice of a god.

  • @cybermunkey13 Totally agreed. If there is a god, I hope he sounds just like this. XD

  • sweden are to awsome and i live in sweden AND I LOVE MY FATHERLAND HOOAAH

  • i'd say something like, "this is totally awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" but that just doesn't amount to how awsome it really is lol

  • One of my fave songs on this album. The riffs, vocals and drums are phenomenal.

  • Does the song refer to Brother William Branham ?

I think the lyrics are suggesting something like this, aren´t they?

  • @weirdguy019 "Brother william, Brother of sins" some of the lyrics around 2:40 didn't check exact time

  • excelente!

  • ive loved this band for years. never realized they were christian till i was singing along one day and realized what i was singing...

  • @goreaphiliac

I'm not so sure they're "Christian" or a "Christian band." They seem to be much more concerned with legend, lore, and fantasy -- which includes Christian myths -- but not exclusively.

  • @InfamousGrey Agreed. Lord of the Blacksmiths deals with Waylan the Smith, a mythical figure of early English lore.

  • @InfamousGrey Who's he kidding? Falconer is against religion. At least organized religion anyway. Including Christianity.

  • @goreaphiliac You appear to be confusing "what" with "why."

If you wish to label a band as this or that, then do so based on "why" they sing what they do, not simply because of "what" they happen to be singing.

Musicians in viking metal bands aren't actually vikings, and Falconer isn't Christian.

  • @goreaphiliac i wouldnt say they are, mostly since they wrote a anti-religion song...

    Enter the Glade.

  • @torylva if ur gonna talk of anti-religion u should mention their song delusion

  • @torylva Actually, if you did your research, you would find Falconer wrote the song about indulgences, a medivial Catholic practice that ended with the christian revolution. So basically he is singing about indulgences and that fact that they were wrong, and about the greedy corruption of the Catholics.

  • All the songs from this album are simply awesome. Somehow this remains my fav Falconer album though it does'nt mean the other later albums are not good......my only wish is that the band comes out with some great videos...cheers to all

  • Me Gusta!!

  • The riffs are just... transcendent.

  • awsome song =P either my 2nd or 3rd favorite . 1st is Carnival of Disgust , than this one or Entering Eternity.

  • thanx for uploading this, it's one of my faves!!!
