"The Sound of Fania Records: Salsa Explosion" It has all the Fania All Stars. Mark Anthony also did a bad ass remake (sounds exactly like the original in HIGH DEF quality.) This is off the sound track to the movie El Cantante (about Hector Lavoe). Jenny's ass is TIGHT in that movie. Oh yeah, the songs are good too.

@darryl1914 i read in one of hecto's album's that this is an african kid's song. hey sang this in elementary(the african's) Hector and willie heard it on a visit to africa and re did it. Turning it into a hit. Salsa has major african roots. Maybe that's why you felt at home in P.R. Black music and flavor is very similar to ours. Thanx to the slaves that came to Puerto Rico, Cuba, and Dominican Republic.

I can see from this videos the demarcation between the Pachangueros dancing Afro-Cuban to Machito and Graciela's tunes and then there are young Willie Colon and Hector Lavoe trying to break the ice with their excellent rapid salsa tune Che che Cole. Nobody is dancing, if that was played now that dance floor would've been packed.

It remind me on a scene from Selena's movie "queremos bailar". And there still people who argues that salsa wans't inveted in NYC.
