2 min...not to point...foley artists create sound from natural objects, foley eng, records same. Good work on the sounds you created and good points made....please rename your title for it indicates YOU are the guy who made the ACTUAL sounds on the film. Wish you the best....please clarify your wording.

Nice vid, but yeah this is defo sound design...even though you are bringing in sounds for the gears etc, its still sound design

Foley is more natural elements, footsteps, clothes rustle etc

But! Awesome video none the less =)

a FOLEY artist does NOTHING like this! he creates natural sound effects with his hands in a studio in front of a mic. what you did in this video is SOUND DESIGN....

Creating the original transformers sound is sound design, yes. But I was adding in pre recorded sounds for the gears and the mechanics. In order to make this video short I decided not to record my own sounds but to take them from reasons archive. My main focous wasn't exactly the art of foley.

That's fantastic tutorial!I am currently doing my final year 3D surround sound masters project based on stories of lord Ganesha.I have recorded a 25 year old male voice for my character who is a 5 year old fat Indian boyi n my story.

I palyed with the pitch shifter to tweak his voice to sound more like a 5 year old boy who is fat and chubby but it was unsuccessful.

Do you have any suggestions abouts what built-in plugins I can use to get the particular voice that I am looking for?

built in plug in's for what program? If you can accept 3rd party plug ins for your video editing software, which i'm sure you can i'd suggest Auto Tune or Melodyne, they're both used for tuning vocals via D.A.W. I know pitch shifting can be pretty annoying and its very hard to get the sound you'd want with just pitch shifting, thats the best advice i can give, sorry if it doesn't help!

great tutorial man, just a few question about the original sound and how you made it?.

im trying to make a dubstep track that is basicaly made from the sounds of fransformers. not toally but i thought it would sound cool with lots of those sounds.

ive tried sampling the actualy movie but cant realy get what i wanted.

could you possibly help me create the sound? i use FL studio and use the VST's Albino 3 or Massive by NI?

My best guess could be to download wav files of samples of just random sounds if you can import them to FL I'm not completely sure about FL though ive never really used it in depth

yea i npticed in the movie they kinda laid back with the transforming original sound but yu can still barely hear it...like a hint of the "gee dit dit da da" or whatever lol dont really know how to word it
