I have a visual memory problem, I forget what I see , I can't drive to places I went hundreds times, when I watch a movie, I can watch it again few days later, it's a brand new movie for me (that's the only good thing about that handicap).

Nobody have an explanation for it, I personalt think that my brain don't "record" what it see. And I have seizures who may have damaged my brain.

i know my way around the entire town wherever I am, i can be "lost" in my town and still find my way back. I call that longterm memory and the use of an internal compass. I forget what I was going to do most likely because its not important/has nothing to do with "survival". Where you put your car-keys isnt important, your brain knows this thats why you forget. But if you remember where you put them its because you told your brain to remember. This is why we also have routines.
