  • I am surprised at even one dislike for this.Anyway these dances were all over Europe at that time,not just England but France,Germany,Austria etc,etc.So correct as dancing should be.

  • Bravo! I have learned the Pas de menuet myself but I would love also to learn this as I love the 1700s.Which society do these beautiful dancers belong to?

  • When this was popular my ancestors were living near a creek in Virginia struggling to produce tobacco and fending off raids by the natives. I have a feeling they didn't dance in such beautiful surroundings.

  • @221Dw Is it inappropriate to discuss the period itself and the world as it existed them? Placing music in context to what occurred during the time of its heyday is not only appropriate but vital. It provides the imagination with an any efficacious relevance to the period.
