Rally at any level is just the best spectator sport arrount and so easy to get in to.Over here in ireland it's the biggest crowd puller around.You have everything from the Mk 1 escort to the Lancia stratos to your WRC cars all fighting for the same glory and your a few feet away from the action, fu*king brilliant.I send an open invite to all you guys to get your asses over and see for yourself. :)

I really enjoyed the rallying event & the volvo looks a similair profile to the Vaxhaull Astra. Nice car though. Verry non volvo and i'm sure if you do happen to crash it then you will be as safe as you can be.

thats the great thing about amatuer rally racing...u dont have to build a car! u can drive ur moms station wagon if u want! just use what ya got and get started. as u get better and get a better feel for the performance u want from ur car then do mods. the key to racing isnt what u drive but the experience of the driver.

Are you sure. Because almost every sanctioning body requires a roll cage, 5 point harness blah blah blah. If that is the case though, I would really like to race my trans Am in a rally, it has some ground clearance, I dont care about dents, and its cheap.

[here in Mexico, you can race a rally in amateur class, even if it does not have a Rollcage, 5pts seatbelts, etc. BUT, most races are what you would call regularity races, and a few are against the clock (or speed races, no pun intended.

it really depends on what organization ur racing with. most do but not all. even so a roll cage isnt as expensive as u might think and a 5 point seat belt isnt either and u can get a bolt on version that can work with ur current seat. personally speaking seeing a trans am in rally would be off the chain. i use a Mustang GT STEEDA and most people think im insane.
