My opinion, even though this playthrough is a few years old, is to make the levels have about 20 seconds cut off of them. That still gives the player enough time to make it to the end while proving to be more challenging due to the lack of it.

Invisible blocks should never be used as an obstacle. It's unfair. Any obstacle you must face has to be visible and you must have time to react or else the game just is ruined full of frustration.

Invisible blocks being used as obstacles is not adding difficulty. It's adding unfair beginner's traps and even seasoned player traps because you never know when they are coming.
