  • I must say that she was kind of special back in The 80's. Too bad she wouldn't get a recording contract these days. Oh well, at least we have this.

  • Jody was a diva before the word "diva" entered the public consciousness as a daily term. But, unlike GaGa and her ilk, Watley had the voice, the sensuality, the charisma and (above all) the CHOPS to pull it all together. That is a deadly combo, and it made her successful. Jody, we love you.

  • @silverpilot1979 I do agree with you silver....but you have to admit..Lady Gaga does have the voice aswell.

  • 80s-90s music - any genre - rocked then and still rocks now :)

  • Even with her eyebrows she still looks sexy

  • @capufo man i love her eyebrows

  • Aquarina...

  • Aquarina...

  • Great artistic video!! This lady is gorgeous.

  • YES@harleydavigirl perfectly said. ppl were focusin on music true music not on image n sex

  • reminds me of Janet, Paula pebble, cherrell, chilli, Karen white, Vanessa William...........

  • @maxday1000 all those females came out around the same time, so it's expected that they would "remind" you of each other. They represented a certain time period.

  • @NotyNoty yep.

  • god, i remember being 10 years old, listening to this tape over and over. My Walkman had auto-reverse!

  • @weirdscience85 I wasn't trying to offend you or anything. Music stats are one of my hobby's. Collecting all the #1 songs from 1955 to 1989 from like 9 or 10 different charts is another one, and not cheap either lol

  • @weirdscience85 Madonna's Like A Prayer hit #1 on the Billboard pop chart for 3 weeks on April 22, 1989 & also hit #1 on the Cashbox pop chart for 3 weeks on April 22, 1989

Jody Watley's Real Love hit #1 on the Cashbox pop chart for 2 weeks on May 20, 1989, but only peaked at #2 on the Billboard pop chart for 2 weeks.

Paula Abdul's Forever Your Girl was at #1 on the Billboard pop chart for 2 weeks on May 20, 1989.

Stats courtesy of Joel Whitburn's Top Pop Singles & Cashbox Magazine.

  • Jody Watley absolutely rocks!! This song and the whole album was on fire. Andre Cymone put the soul recipe on this jam!!!

  • Hit #1 on the Cashbox pop chart for 2 weeks in May 1989

  • Wish they'd bring this good music back...

  • Miss those days so bad.

  • Beyonce' who??? Oh how music has changed! Pure class here WITH CLOTHES ON! Class act!

  • This is the real deal, REAL LOVE...

  • really high fashion , really supermodel style...

  • Ohh.. 80's were the best... sad that it's all gone :(

  • Werk Jody! ...oh and Madonna owes you royalties for ripping off this concept for th e "Vogue" video....#fightme

  • I think she's better than Janet Jackson! lol my first time hearing this and she was and still is the total package!

  • @Lifetimepanther1944 Jody and Janet (she rocks too) were always different, if this was a Janet video she'd be doing big dance routines with tons of dancers a formula made successful by her brother the King of Pop Michael. Even though Jody started as a freestyle dancer on Soul Train her aesthetic as an artist has always been more about free movement, attitude, fashion, individual style and independence even in the confines of Shalamar reflected in this video and this song that she cowrote

  • Is it just me or does anyone else think lady gaggag is hell bound heathen? Anyway.....this song is fabulous! I still remember "jucing" the jheri curl and going into the clubs and dancin' to this insanely popular song! Still sounds good.....and ty for posting!

  • We should acquire the names of the 7 dislikes just to have a chat . Does anyone have Le Chiffre's cell ? His very useful with chair talks. lol

  • Great stuff!! Judy.. Have real meaning and purpose.. Despite that I'm not married yet!! Hope that I'll be occuppied soon. Not to be alone!!

  • I love this song. What's amazing, however, is how awesome the music video is. She looks fierce. This music video (from it's visual style) was way ahead of 1989!!!

  • @krwescott Janet too, imo.

  • This 'broad' is sultry as HELL!!! Oh yea, I went there. Seven people didn't like this video :-0

  • Go Jodi go!.....i liked her then and i like her now!....i miss 1989......

  • A Music Video way before its time! Priceless....Brings me back to 5th Grade, Spring 1989.

  • Jody was a dressing sister. I loved her style. She could dance, sing and I liked her better as a solo artist.

  • These videos were tasteful, we got the message with their clothes on!

  • Great song. Great message.

  • this song is neat. Jody watley is swell. The music makes me happy

  • shes great!

  • i LOVE Jody Watley. she was my style icon. she had the music and the image to a tee.

  • Don't going blaming "black women" for their music of today. Like everything else it is "supply and demand". They make what people want to hear so they can make a career of their talent. It's the people that want to list to crap. Music today, most don't even realize they are not even listening to real musical instruments and or the true voice of the artiest (singer). Shameful, like everything else of today.

  • This was a bad ass song! Jody was so great with Shalamar, and still awesome after that! A classic pre-90's hit:-)

  • Jody hit #2 in Billboard, 5-20-89. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx!

  • Comment removed

  • @DaveWollenberg On which chart (s) are you speaking of Billboard Hot 100? I believe Real Love was #1 R&B and #1 Dance too also all charts matter

  • @nuthinbutclassics Elsewhere, I did post that Jody hit #1 soul with it. I don't have the dance chart stats book yet, but, it's somethin' to look into. God bless ya, for the note. Have a great weekend!

  • I love black women music . They stay original(:

  • great video

  • she is an awesome and strong female figure..we love u jodi:)

  • WOW!!! SEXXY JODY POP PRINCESS!!!! FOREVER!!!!

  • all hail the real princess of pop and RnB

  • Why on earth is this video NOT on iTunes? It's a CLASSIC. I think David Fincher (the director) doesn't want it up there. And for those wondering Madonna's Vogue wasn't influenced by Watley, it was the SAME director. He also did Express Yourself.

  • @gregel Express Yourself and Vogue as well as Jody's work with David Finchers PRECEDED both, so I would say both were indeed influenced by Jody who was also a trendsetter and takes nothing away from either. Real Love with all of it's MTV video noms put Fincher on the radar (1 of the noms was Best Director), from my eyes I think Ciccone also liked the black tailored suit seen in this video. Vogue also borrowed HEAVILY from Malcolm McClaren Deep In Vogue feat Vogue King Willie Ninja.

  • @gregel I do agree it's odd the video is not on iTunes yet being that it was nominated for Breakthrough Video back then and so influential. It was written by Jody Watley / Andre Cymone so Fincher would not own rights AND it is the video that put him on the mainstream directorial radar for music video so why not? Probably politics since MCA was gobbled up into many hands via Universal and black artists regardless of how influential usually get the shaft one way or another i hope its there soon

  • i still love listening to her music! she was the sh*t! i loved her!!

  • @duncv1 She is still the s**t, just saw her on on The MoNique Show a couple of months ago, she was elegant funky beautiful and still classy a quality lacking with a lot of girls bumping and grinding on the scene these days Personally as much as I love her early work, her music is even better now. I STILL luv and admire Jody since Soul Train (dating myself a little) to this day, your comment reflects you may have lost touch, too bad

  • @nuthinbutclassics yes clearly i did lost touch! i havent seen her perform since the 90's! well im glad u still with her! she needs fans like u! i loved her music back in the day and thats all i have to rely on is her past music! so thats it all!

  • @duncv1 I disagree. you have lost touched being stuck in the past from living in a box. i won't allow you to do a discography genocide to Miss Watley's career. To bring you up to date, since she lost one fan, you, her last hit was in 2006 THE MAKEOVER. I'd suggest you update your ipod, or transistor radio playlist and stop looking to argue about water being wet. If you never see her again, one thing stands true she did the damn thing. And the last you've seen of her former colleagues?

  • @duncv1 history is to be used for helping one to forward themself into the future, not to take Real estate in a time lapsed of foregone precedings. I'm not attacking your intellect and choice, but then again, what's my take on a thousand others here on Youtube of your taste and decision of being STUCK in the 90's. How you doing!

  • I ain't never liked Madonna no way! she's the worst kind of rip-off artist. the bitch keep adding to her list of criminal act. with her new boy-toy, this AARP recipient's gonna be looking at 5-10 for statutory rape. but if the she's trying to run a children nursery, at least do it legal !

  • Ok, EVERYONE, My Post was Not ABOUT MADONNA! All Of you who Took it there need to swallow a Tyranosauras Rex Sized CHILL PILL! OK??? The Comment was about THIS VIDEO And How it OBVIOUSLY Influenced Madonna's and Fincher's Choices...They Obviously aped much of the style of this video... which is what my original post was about, i mentioned at the end that "Vogue" simply became a bigger phenomenon, but it's owes it lineage to THIS VIDEO! Are we done?

  • @KLCC839 must've been a long, lonely journey to allow a Bull.... thought to cross your mind It's to late at night to allow something so small to be independent on it's own. REAL LOVE Madonna influenced? That's less believable that R. Kelly controlling himself at an 8th grade prom. Before sharing your ,mental status do some fact/ date checking. REAL LOVE was created, developed and filmed in 1988-89 and on the heels of REAL LOVE was the Watley's influenced Malcom Mclauen HOUSE OF VOGUE (cont.)

  • @TheElfcounsel DOES ANYONE EFFING READ THESE POSTS CORRECTLY!?!?!?! I WROTE THAT MADONNA'S VID WAS THE ONE INFLUENCED BY WATLEY, NOT THE OTHER WAY ROUND! I KNOW GODDANG WELL THAT "REAL LOVE" CAME OUT BEFORE "VOGUE" and what the eff is all this hatred towards Madge and her ability to capture the zeitgeist of perhaps other creative peoples ideas and embellish and embroider on them...??? and even though Watley broke the ground that takes nothing away from Madge's Brilliance Either! SHEEESH!!!

  • @KLCC839 Mother nature, I own you the biggest apologies ever for questioning "WAY ANIMALS EAT THEIR YOUNG. Now i understand why after spending time with a Madonna fan. So Blond! it would be different if Madonna was JUST biting from other artist, but this she comes to the table with knife, fork and dessert spoon eating the whole meals and the world believes she the best thing since slice bread.

  • @KLCC839 It's not an issue of Madge's brilliance, or lack of, being that others create images for her to reenact I questioned. it's your fowl statement of David Fincher directing the most stylish videos ever 'VOGUE' that catapulted him to fame. BULL....! nearly 3 years after the release of REAL LOVE Fincher was spoken well of his work while Watley/Madonna fans continued the comparison of Vogue being a total rip-off of Malcolm Mclaren's HOUSE OF VOGUE.

  • @KLCC839 I read exactly what you posted and have no quandaries of comprehending, but in your lack of power to converse statement and not the power to speak affirmation of Watley's GROUND BREAKING video was not the ONE that launched David Fincher's career, and Vogue (a total duplicate of another) had, offensive. Your observation is like comparing two girls having a dick fighting contest at the local town's county fair.

  • @KLCC839....and, if you, and the rest of the Madonnamites was offended by my earlier statements of Madge and her men, I will apologies for sounding like a hater. "You go, Madge! If you can get away it being a pick-up artist at your daughter's playground, then go for it!" I will say this, "....Koo, koo for you Mrs. Robinson and your GRADUATE!

  • @KLCC839 I do agree that EXPRESS YOURSELF and VOGUE were good videos....if it hadn't been videos I'd seen two years prior by Watley's REAL LAOVE and Mclauren's HOUSE OF VIEW. If Madge was a creative artist instead of others creating her IMAGES for each album and tour, or bit'in' from other virtuosos I would agree, but I guess that's the advantage of one when they've been swallowed into the machinery of Warner bros., and the MASTER CREATORS depend on pure instincts!

  • @KLCC839 your statement of "They Obviously aped much of the style of this video," who's they? or, are you admitting that this was another one of Madonna's embezzling assault on another inventive artist? Well if you fail to coincide, I'll speak for us both. Yes! Not only in the styling of these videos to be like Watley's, but her wardrobe as well when she enlisted the help of designer of RICHARD TYLER (who created Jody's REAL LOVE black suit) to produce a replica of the famed black men suit.

  • @KLCC839 to honest, it's not about whose video was PHENOMENON, it's about who broke ground first, and my date clock says Madge missed her appointed arrival time, as did Elvis with Big mama Thornton, Justin Timberlake with Michael Jackson and Britney with Di'mita Jo (Janet Jackson). Maybe others taken what had been done previous to the next level, but sometime photostat is not always the best form of compliment. Now, we're done!

  • Written by Jody Watley and Andre Cymone Produced by Andre Cymone. Billboard #1 Dance #1 R&B, #2 Hot 100, 6 MTV Award Nominations (a record amount of nominations until broken by Michael and Janet Jackson for Scream in 1995) including "Breakthrough Video" and Best Director for then newcomer David Fincher. Styling done by Jody who has said she wanted to do a fashion piece come to life and urged the runway scene. Mission accomplished I'd say for her timeless style and sound. She raised the bar.

  • she shows beyonce how to wear a weave, thats horse tail go girl

  • This Video Shows Just exactly how much A Great Director can makes something magical... David Fincher Directed this video, of the movies "Se7en" and "The Social Network" Fame The Next Year after this vid, he would direct perhaps the most stylish video ever and the Vid that made him Famous... "Vogue" by Madonna... one can see the stylistic parallels in that video and this one! most of the shots and scenes in this vid look like Fashion shoots from mags of the day!

  • @KLCC839 Fincher directed 'Vogue' AFTER he worked with Jody no doubt Madonna was inspired by this. If memory serves Madonna enlisted Fincher for Express Yourself AFTER this. In interviews Jody spoke of her desire do a fashion piece come to life and styling all of her videos. They made magic for sure. Real Love put Fincher on the map I'd say though Vogue was more popular. Real Love was nominated for 6 or 7 MTV Awards and held that record as a highly nominated for a long time until Janet/MJ Scream

  • @nuthinbutclassics yes... if you read my comment... i wrote that the year AFTER this vid he would Direct Vogue... this video did make him immensely well known in the Music Video Directing Circles and most likely was what caught Madge's Eye For "Express Yourself" and "Vogue" But "Vogue" Obviously catapulted him to Fame he wouldn't have perhaps known! he would also go on to Direct one of the Best Videos EVER... Madonna's "Bad Girl" A Cinematic and Emotional Masterpiece!

  • @KLCC839 I read your comments just fine, no glasses or magnifying aparatus needed. Why post here trying to throw shaderade. Your time would be better spent posting comments under YOUR favorite "Madonna" masterpiece and not THIS "Jody Watley" Influential Cinematic and Style Masterpiece also ONE OF THE BEST EVER. Is it that hard for you to swallow that Madge wasn't THE only bad b**** in the game? Next.

  • @nuthinbutclassics Funny how Some can read bitchiness into anything... I wasn't nearly throwing shade toward the BADASS Ms. Watley... Believe me I am all about Ms. Watley and feel the same as Jermaine Stewart does in his Tribute to this DIVA! One of the TRUE DIVAS! As for you trying to School anyone and hate on me for loving Ms. Ciccone AND MS. WATLEY, someone should have schooled you in how to play nice with the other children! This Video is PURE GENIUS! And Always Will Be!

  • @KLCC839 If I were you, I'd read closely. "I'm a Madonna fan, but I hate to break it to all the Madonna lovers: the woman steals EVERYTHING. This one's pretty blatant, but the worst example by far is 'Justify My Love.' Listen to Public Enemy's "Security of the First World." I bet you'll recognize it right away. And she did NOT get permission to use it, btw. She's been sued about a thousand times for stealing other peoples' stuff...But like Picasso said, 'Bad artists copy' "

  • Fabu!

  • This song reminds me of my uncle that is MISSING ILY UNCLE ONDRE!!!<3<3<3

  • Man, is it just me or was Jody's music way ahead of it's time??? I love anything 80's or 90's but I've never heard music as funky, beat-heavy and modern-sounding as this song. All her songs actually sound way ahead of their time. This here diva needs a comeback, stat!!!

  • Wow..a fully clothed beautiful lady in a music video! Jody is a class act for sure.

  • @RetroJenny Go figure, eh? A woman who exudes class and character from every pore, who knows that it's sexier to leave something to the imagination, and who can actually SING without needing her voice drenched in Auto-Tune. Brace yourself!

  • If you wanna be with me you gotta give it up "REAL LOVE" some of the best music of the 80's. today's music doesn't have anything that will be remembered in 10 yrs. the 80's were the best.

  • 3 People never had Real Love!

  • REAL LOVE IS LIVING FOR THE ALMIGHTY "GOD"

  • Jody is awesome!! She had a lot of hits back in the 80s......I wish she would come back!!

  • @LivingMindfully1975 Her last was in 2007 from Makeover album I been a fan since Soul Train days, she just gets better wit age i follow on Twitter and Facebook used to on Myspace. You been missing out she still got it and staying true to real music no hype

  • 3 people would rather give them selves hand jobs insted of having REAL LOVE.... Now is anybody else going to step up to bat and say they dont like this tune!!! Go ahead , tell the whole world that you slap your meat, Go ahead, Tell em!!!

  • Classy video. Feel great song.

  • timeless

  • why cant we download this song from itunes? :'(

  • DAMN . 80s ? EPIC .

  • All Leather & Shit...&...Jody's lovely-dorky Dance!!!

    80's was da shit!

  • not that many hits. this song was on the radio quite a bit back in the day.

  • @Goalie0477 She had many hits!

  • Lots of people say that pop/rock music back in the 80's was better than today's music. I agree. But i'd also say that was true of R&B as well. Jody Watley, Pebbles, En Vogue, Bobby Brown, Terence Trent Darby, etc. all had some bad ass jams back in the day & IMHO, their songs/albums were much catchier & more memorable than anything that's coming from the new crop of R&B artists today.

  • back in the days I thought this video was really cool, it's still is

  • @musiclover77able the black women today arnt make music like the black women back in the day. now music is all about sex and money. we cant expect women like kerri helson and nicki minaj to get the same shine as whitney and jody watley because there music is low class. these women in the 80's had class, style and something say and show

  • @Dstreetz17 music , Ice also said that back inthe 80's people got into music, for the most part to make music, but as times ahve gone on, its more about peopel getting into music to make money, and that makes thema slave to those who really control the industry. The real suits in the industry dont want music that makes people think or want to be creatve, right now its all aobut selling and selling out. THERE ARE real artists out there, but the industry has them on lock down.

  • @Dstreetz17 Absolutely correct!!!!! and....Jody will ALWAYS be Queen of COOL!

  • @Dstreetz17 --This video is a perfect example. Jody is not dancing all slutty and showing off as much of her body as possible and i think it makes her even more sexy and the singing is so good you actually want to listen to the music and not see skin everywhere.

  • god...i remember from her shalamar days...so damn sexy then and now.

  • i love her eyebrows :)

  • My absolute FAV from Jody Watley. First heard this on the Top 8 at 8 and saw the video on MTV. COmpletley beautiful video, one of my FAV video's EVER. She looks flawless! STUNNING TRACK

  • @musiclover77able It was nice talking to you sister!!! Things will get better!!! You will see!!!

  • @musiclover77able Yeah, you are right. You don't see lightskinned or biracial black women as much as before. The media is refusing to put ANY black women on tv, movies or music videos. You still might see a lightskinned black woman from time to time but not as much as before. Blacks have to do what they did in the earlier days and fight for the right to be positively portrayed in the media. We have power!!! Money is power!!! We just have to refuse to spend our money on mess!!!!

  • @musiclover77able Now don't think I am challenging you or anything. I agree that we as women are in a slightly worser shape than in the past. But don't think that tv represents reality to such an extent that beautiful black women have fallen off the face of the planet!!! You have to look deeper!!!

  • @musiclover77able So like I said, this subject is very complex. More complex than to say that black women aren't beautiful or feminine anymore.

  • @musiclover77able Television doesn't accurately reflect real life. That is why we as black women must unite to fight against racism in the media. We are back in the days of the 1930's when the older, heavy, asexual black women is all you see on tv. The Aunt Jemima thing is back!!!! "Precious" has replaced the Jody Watley's and Karyn White's. Also, black women are always portrayed as having a "bad attitude on tv. So it is easy to think that all black women are unfeminine.

  • @musiclover77able If you were to look on modeling websites, you would be amazed at all the beautiful young black women on these websites, trying to establish careers. Thousands and thousands of them!!!!! But do you see these type of women on tv or music videos? No you don't and it is not because there aren't alot of them but it is because they are purposely being excluded. Like I said, we as a people were once united in our love for ourselves and we supported media that supported us!!!!

  • @musiclover77able Making good decisions has an affect on your inner and outer beauty. It is time that we stop giving too much of ourselves away. We also have to make time for ourselves, give ourselves some "me time" if you know what I mean. But don't be deceived and think that the beautiful black women doesn't exist. You just don't see them on tv or movies as much as you did in the 70's and 80's. In those times, "black was beautiful" and we fought for the right to see ourselves as we are on tv.

  • Comment removed

  • @musiclover77able So it is not that the beautiful black women doesn't exist anymore. Most very young black women are very attractive. But understand, that black women have more going against them now than back in the heyday of the 70's and 80's. Those days were a time of optimism and joy. We can still maintain that optimism but it will require that we make much better decisions. Eat healthy, seek an education, not just a man, stay prayerful and seek righteousness. And remain cheerful.

  • @musiclover77able So this is a warning to younger black women. Eat healthy, try not to find yourself raising a family alone ( and I mean intentionally. 70 % of black women, rather intentionally or unintentionally, are raising families alone). Seek an education instead of just a man. Take care of yourself. Stay prayerful and seek righteousness. And try to keep a cheerful attitude. You would be amazed how stress and dissappointment can affect your life, and I mean in terms of your appearance also

  • @musiclover77able But the lives of AFrican American women are much harsher now than back in the 70's,80's and 90's. Many of us are raising families alone without help. Stress and dissappointment can change your appearance too. You mentioned the word feminine in saying how African American DON'T act. Well, I think that when a women is neglected it has an affect on her personality as well. I notice that younger black women who don't have families are very attractive and usually appear happier.

  • @musiclover77able Today, obesity is becoming an alarming problem, not just among black women but Americans period. If you were to look at todays African women(not African American women), who have eaten healthier their entire lives, you would be amazed at how beautiful most of them look. Afican women have smoother skins and many of them have thicker, longer hair. That is what happens when you are healthy. They are also thinner.

  • @musiclover77able Now understand, when I see black women who are between the ages of 15 and 25, most of them are very attractive. And I am talking about today's black women. That hasn't changed. I think black women were healthier back in the older days. And that is probably what you are talking about. Most black women no matter what their background or age looked good in the old days because we ate healthier. Not as much Mcdonalds, if you know what I mean.

  • @musiclover77able To me this is a complex subject. You and I are both about the same age. I admit that it was very common to see very beautiful darker black women on tv and in music. It was common to see women like Jody Watley in the music industry and on tv. Now you seldom see such women. But that is not because there aren't any beautiful darker black women. It is because the industry has changed. Now the industry caters to the image of the lightskinned or non-black beauty image.

  • Jody Watley teaches that there is aspiration. I like listening to the drill.

  • That animation of the musical notes flowing from the brassists' (don't know if that's a real word) horns has to be the best I've ever seen.

Fantastic, A+ video...and Jody Watley is beautiful like always. :)

  • @musiclover77able that is a crazy thing to say i don't think women of today are any different than back then and who cares about being in a video anyway most of the women in them today are hoochies and who would wanna be that.

  • @musiclover77able

Know what? Blame poor musical influences and fashion style choices, as well as today's music itself. That's all I have to say.

All we can do now is hope and pray that music and vibes and whatever like this return back to us and the shitastic-ness we gotta deal with nowadays dissolves completely, which I am confident it will within the next five years or so.

  • @musiclover77able

Wonder how that happened? Since that's your opinion then it would probably sicken me to see women of today dressing and looking all pompous and/or whorish and shit instead of the beautiful, classy ladies of the past thirty or so years. :(

  • REAL LOVEEEEEEE i know i wanna have one REAL LOVEEEE gonna try and get some REAL LOVEEEEEEE everybody needs one REALLL LOVEE... I GOT TA HAVE REAL LOVE

  • the best video of that year ...she deserved the mtv award 4 best female video

  • another song remeber performing to in dance group back int he 80's

You will learrn that age does NOT equal humility equality or otherwise smdh and yea God Bless all fools like YOU . Keep doing you Ms. Jody I never get tired of this song or video DIVA

  • this is the music i miss.

  • never heard of her in Russia. but she's so cool!

  • watching old school videos like this make me smile but at the same time makes me sad too. im 17 and i swear i was born in the wrong era. i love the music the fashion everything about the 80'. and im tired of medicored artsits like rihanna, katy perry, and kesha with no talent who just walk up and down the stage singing kareoke tunes and become successful smh. thats why i take at least 2 hours aday and listen to old school music on my ipod or youtube.

  • With what is being played now, I appreciate Jody now! She HAS CLASS!

  • With what is being played now, I appreciated Jody now! She HAS CLASS!

  • How Come Females Today Don't Look As Good As They Used Too?...Damn Jody Watley is Fine...You don't see women like this anymore...Vanity...Appolonia...Jody Watley...Bunny Debarge..were uniquely Gorgeous...Today mediocre women like Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hudson are on top...Those broads are nothing compared to Vanity...Appolonia...Bunny Debarge..or Jody Watley...Rhianna is the only truly beautiful woman in todays music...The Rest suck...I grimace looking at them

  • @bretcarr2001

Woman use to be themselves...natural!! that's the difference and that's what makes a woman SEXY!

  • @bretcarr2001 have you seen rihanna without make up she is no vanity either...i miss the natuarl beauties too

  • @bretcarr2001

Jody Watley was considered to be a beauty among the crop of singers back in the 80's era but...Whitney Houston before Apollonia she is not in the same category of talent to even be mentioned with Jody or Beyonce or even my girl Bunny DeBarge. Are you talking about best singing eye candy or beautiful talented singers?

  • @MsFarzee unlike Whtiney or Apollonia Ms Jody wrote her music (still tru) did her own styleing and dancing moves not manufactured like the others though Whitney hadd that gospel shizz going in her vox /no shade

  • @stilettogroove I was a fan of Jody Watley BEFORE her solo success and I am well aware of her musical contribution to her own career and the music industry -- I was just sayin' that Apollonia and Vanity, for that matter, was JUST pretty and is not in the same category as the Jody Watley and the real beautiful R&B talent of that era... Whitney was gorgeous and was not even mentioned...I guess his post is mixing the two categories I mentioned -- 80's eye candy AND beauteous talent singers :-)
