  • atheist trolling>christian trolling.

  • Interesting video. Are you asking atheist not to convince you that your religion is false, because you enjoy it?

  • This is AMAZING and special. You clearly speak from your heart. Keep the hope God granted you, and don't let someone takes it from you. Skeptics don't have that hope, and I believe that's their core problem. I am not Christian, but I am on your side :)

  • Weed does wonders...

  • We want to laugh at you, not hear your opinions on music.

  • Dude are you not well? You look gaunt and haggard. We all have our own gullibility’s yes – yours are clear. I wonder why you try and inflict them on the rest of the world.

  • "the power of a story to change ones life, change ones MIND", come on dude. and the fact that you continuously refer to the bible as a myth is a question within its self.

  • man this guy....makes me see things in a whole new way god bless you dude im just suprised how self centered people are man this is as genuin as someone can get thumbs up man im tired of the power struggle this is my last comment id rather change people with this kind of attitude then anything else....man wonderfull thumbs up this should have like 100000000000000 thumbs up

  • Are you acting or are you on drugs?

  • Why do so many Christians and Evangelists just look and sound like WWF Wrestling Actors ? It just never seems to sound real.

  • Dear Bible-God,

Why do 24000 people die every day from hunger or hunger-related causes? Why are 75% of them are children? Why do 5700 Africans die each day of Aids? Why do we have Cancer, Aids, Polio, Yellow Fever, Influenza, Spanish Flu, Measles that wiped out billions? Why will billions of people burn in "hell fire" for all time because they don't believe in the equivelant of Santa Claus? Why is there not one eyewitness account of your "son"?

Why do you expect us to believe this bullshit?

  • @FoxifiedNutjob

    Dear Child.

You would find all the answers if you weren't so hardened, if you had trust and humility. I created the perfect world and you -my lost children- blew it and spoiled it. Don't blame me for your instability and your attraction to sin and power. I just wanted you to be perfect and free :( And your freedom of will still i restrict.

PS. Not everything is wasted. This world could be perfect again if you have just repented. It's up to you all and together.

    love,

    God

    xoxo

  • LetTheHolySpiritIn, even if all of that were true -- that Genesis actually happened (which there's absolutely no reason to believe, mind you) -- how would it be right that we alive today are being blamed for a transgression made by two other people thousands of years ago?

  • Vampiro413, imagine an island. A friend provides to couple his house by the beach. He says to do whatever they want but dont eat any fruits there. They love the place, fridge gets empty. They don't want to leave so soon and decide to catch next boat. They see no harm in eating some apples. Owner banish them. Their kids see pictures, ask to go there. Parents say its a great place but owner is a stupid, irrational and stingy man. And this infamy goes on with their grandchildren etc.

  • I'm afraid your argument has several flaws.

First off, you didn't answer my question. I asked why this island owner continues to banish the *descents* of that couple, not some opinion or misinformation about that owner being passed down from generation to generation starting with those parents.

To continue, your owner is supposedly omniscient. He knew that merely telling them not to eat some apples would not satisfy the skeptical minds...that he gave them.

    [wait for part 2]

  • Furthermore, for your analogy to be accurate, the owner also made the couple without knowledge of good or evil. How can he blame them for doing "wrong" when he KNOWS they can't tell wrong from a good thing?

To continue, your owner is supposedly omniscient. He knew with infallible certainty that they would eat some fruit. He knew that merely telling them not to eat some apples would not work. Why is he so angry at a trainwreck when he's the one that laid the tracks right into the wall?

  • Well, my friend, if fact it is a good analogy- I surprised myself. They and their children can go there again if they show their sorry. Owner may test them to see if they changed their thinking. But they are angry with the owner. Their descendant are angry too, angry even despite of not knowing him. Since when eating apple is evil? - they thought. It wasn't, but owner asked them not to eat it and they didn't listen. They didn't know right nor wrong but they knew the rules of their stay.

  • Him being omnipotent is a different case than parents sin - you didn't ask for it.He is not angry man. Not at all. He is dissapointed. Being so generous and yet they disregarded him. Didn't your parents ever test you when they raised you? Didn't they knew you will try those things they forbiden? Good parents know that from the beginning and yet still they decide to have children.

    Peace.

  • No, it's not a good analogy. You see, you missed my points again.

"angry even despite of not knowing him"

This is the question you keep avoiding! Why do the children have to be sorry for something they did *not* do, or because someone else filled their heads with false information?

If eating the apple wasn't evil, then why does the owner throw such a tantrum over an arbitrary rule? Also how can he be "dissapointed" at something he knew was going to happen?

    [Please wait for part 3]

  • "They didn't know right nor wrong but they knew the rules of their stay."

Yes, but rules operate under an awareness of right or wrong! To violate a rule the wrong thing to do. But without a of knowledge of right or wrong, how can you expect someone to follow rules if they still don't understand what "wrong" is? That's like a couple having a child they *knew* was colorblind, and then telling not to pick the green apples or you'll kick him out.

    That's not generosity -- that's insanity!

  • Did my parents "test" me? Sure, but for good reasons -- Don't walk into the street. Don't drink the bottles under the sink. Don't touch the stove. Those are REAL rules, not arbitrary tasks of blind obedience like this apple scenario.

And if I failed that test, they'd have just explain why its so important.

I might've been given a time out for a while, but they certainly wouldn't have kicked me out of the house.

    Peace to you too.

  • #1/4: You are right it was not a perfect analogy. Well, maybe we can't understand this because we live in this reality of knowing right and wrong. But in paradise there was nothing wrong, nothing could harm/happen to people, no streets, no strange bottles etc. No death! Only thing was to raise people to love God - the only reason why we were created. If you really love someone you don't ask why, you just do what he asks trusting that he wants all the best for you. Same was here.

  • #1/5

"If you really love someone ... the best for you."

NO!!! Don't you see?? That's not what a genuinely benevolent character would ask of you -- that's what a lying con artist would say!

And even so, that's still not a loving situation at all: "I created you to love me. So... do that or I'll scrap you." He claims to love his children, yet treats them like defective machinery when they don't do exactly as he orders.

That is not a loving being, that is a pompous control freak.

  • #2/4: They didn't have to know right/wrong they had to love God. Logic isn't really the way to recognize this issue - logic came later I guess. And regarding the question (which I didn't avoided, it's just that hard to explain). Children have to be sorry because they don't think for themselves and hate man whom they don't know. I really don't know at the moment how to explain it better. It is a sin - it is harmful and destroying rumour against the owner. Originally, rumour against God.

  • "They didn't have to know right/wrong they had to love God."

Again you miss the point. Following instructions requires an understanding of good & bad. A being without such, by definition, cannot follow instructions.

"Children have to be sorry ... hate man whom they don't know."

That's a case of being misinformed. Again, it is not justice to blame someone because someone *else* filled their head with glue, especially if you can appear to them at any time & dispel such misinformation.

  • "Logic isn't really the way to recognize this issue"

No logic? The Bible doesn't have to make sense? No offense, but that's a load o' BS.

Logic allows us to deduce meaning or function by analyzing patterns. Even the most abstract & poetic of literary works have some level of logic to them, otherwise they'd just be incoherent babbling. In the realm of intelligent lifeforms, this allows us to divine someone's intentions by looking at their behavior.

  • Logic therefore allows us to catch mistakes, or even lies, by noticing inconsistencies.

If someone tried to sell you "volcano insurance," it is by logic that you reason the man is lying to get your money. If you're working on english homework with a friend & the answer they give you is 5x - 7, it is logic that you are using to deduce that they are looking at the wrong homework sheet.

    [continuing]

  • Now, a guy walks up with a religious text & asserts, without evidence, that morality, God, & the afterlife are all like what the book says they are. You ask him for proof, & he avoids it or makes an excuse. You point out an inconsistency & he just claims that the book "doesn't have to makes sense."

No proof. No logical story arc. So why would you believe him? Don't you find it even remotely fishy -- that his cosmic system is identical to a con artist?

  • #3/4: He won't tollerate that, but he is loving and can forgive right away, in this very moment. Even if we speak and do so much badness against him. The horrible gossip can kill any love and friendship. And why people had to left the paradise? Because they sinned and they couldn't look at God face to face. Their sin would burn them and they would die suffering terribly. Thats the nature of God. No one later could look at God. Even prophets. God is really a mistery to us.

  • "Their sin would burn ... nature of God."

    Uh huh. But HOW?

If God chooses how the universe works, doesn't that only mean *he* alone decided that his presence would burn & kill a lifeform in a most horrific, agonizing way? Why would desire such a thing?

Why doesn't his nature simply transmutate sin into good? Turn a "sinner" into a saint? Or why doesn't just nothing happen? Couldn't he have selected that?

  • But out of all of these more humane choices, he decided that his presence would kill & torture mankind? And that's just his nature?

What is his nature then -- to author death & suffering for no reason? Wouldn't that make his nature evil?

  • #4/4: We can't understand him so don't ask me why God did something that he did. The great news is that by loving him we can finally be really happy. Not succesful, not gratified, not fulfilled like we are often, but just happy. Even if the path is so hard, because it is he who leads us right back to paradise. Thanks for essential discussion. It's very rare these days when is comes to religion. Again, peace be with you my friend.

  • "We can't understand him so don't ask me why God did something that he did."

But this is exactly what I'm talking about! Why would a sane & loving god choose to make himself a mystery to you after putting your eternal well-being on the line?

I know you believe that the Bible was inspired by God, but you do agree that it still had to pass through flawed human hands right?

How can you have any certainty that the warchiefs of the time didn't slip in a few things if you never question it?

  • How do you know that all these doctrines: God is angry, thru faith alone, sinful nature, fire & brimstone, aren't just ways to manipulate citizens into doing what the priests tell them to?

Would you torture anyone? I don't think you would. So what makes you think that an all-loving being, who can do whatever he wants, would, when he already doesn't want to & no one can hold him to it?

Sorry for the 2 week delay & ridiculously longer response. Peace to you dude!

  • Riiiight. The song was about hope. It was a song based on reality. It was about humanity and treating our fellow man with dignity and respect without the help of imaginary supernatural forces that don't exist past the mind.

  • 5:24

  • I know your attitude comes from you thinking I was defending God... But I am actually just communicating with anyone that seems intelligent and you do so, see that I am not cutting you down but actually want you to PROVE ME WRONG with Facts not opinion.

First off, Anti Matter, Black Matter. Research those. Then Look into Time travel, and inter-dimensional travel. They use to think that the Moon was too far away, or that the Earth was Flat. I explore new theories and this one makes sense to me.

  • No, A Physicist wouldn't say that, because he would understand that Light is Matter on another frequency.

In other words, matter and energy are the same thing, only different from perspective.

    Like the radio station.

Matter can exist as energy or light in our dimension but exist as matter or solid in another frequency.

    Multi-dimensional existence we live in.

You are telling me that an Olive is poison and I am telling you it is only poison before treatment.

You are right in this Dimension.

  • Matter is made up of tiny particles called atoms which are made up of neutrons ,electrons and protons.

and None of those are solid! Do you get it yet?

  • Look, I don't want this to become a common youtube argument.

Matter is made up of building Blocks right?

Those Building blocks consist of what? Protons, Electrons, and Neutrons. All those things make up what we know as minerals and elements which we Call matter.

I am telling you that the Science community completely understands that

" if the Building Blocks are not solid".. Then Neither is the Building.

  • If you're an adult and you believe in God, then you are an utter disgrace to humanity. That's a fact. Stop embarrassing mankind with your disgusting, medieval fantasies. It's 2009, for fuck sake!

  • ah gay

  • wut

  • Totally argree with you man.. You caint prove physically that god does exist.. But i know what i feel in my heart what i feel and feel that Jesus was real and everything in gods word is truth... Faith isnt having absolute cirtainty, its believing no matter what the world says.. No matter if theres no evidence that you still believe.

  • dude thats stupid, i beleive in Christ but thats a poor comment, it obviously can be proven because if God did create all existance, clearly it can be proven through his own WORK (quantum physics ect )

  • I'm glad that you are willing to admit that religious faith isn't absolute certainty. That is what true faith is, rather than trying to shape the vague parts of the bible to a proof shaped mould.

  • This makes me realize that a belief in god is more about HOW YOU WANT TO FEEL(with a preference for feeling good obviously) and WHEN vs. how you are going to feel based on actual knowledge. I am an atheist cuz I want to have the knowledge first and then decide how I feel about it later, whereas a religious person wants feelings now and wants those feeling to be good ones NOW. The stories in the bible are a means to that end. Religion puts feelings before objectivity.

  • So in fact God does exist! Which God are you worshiping though? Creation? Or a man that claimed to be the highest force of life?

Think about this for a second. We cannot be in contact with creation for it's matter vibrates so much higher than ours that just being in it's presence would destroy your matter.

So how did we talk to god?

Exactly, your not! You are talking to messengers of God. We are no where near ready to talk to God.

If you ask a lesser god to be your god, you get what you ask 4

  • Heres your proof!

Matter is only vibrating energy! visible only by perspective vibrating matter. Several variation of frequencies exist. Higher vibrating Matter would be invisible to lower vibrating matter. This is why Ghost's are invisible to us. They are on a different Dimension of existence This will all be in Science books soon if not already.

    So what is God?

Obviously the highest vibrational entity is the creative force behind all Matter (AKA God)

God is the highest frequency of life:)

  • "Matter is only vibrating energy"? what the fuck are you talking about. That's isn't true, it's nonsense. I do hope you're being sarcastic, otherwise you probably have some severe learning difficulty.

God exists in the same way that Harry Potter and Frodo Baggins exist, in story books. Grow up.

  • do the research. Matter = Energy that is vibrating on a frequency. In other words, matter is only solid to us because we are made up of matter on the same frequency.

Look up Atoms, Molecules, Protons, Neutrons, etc...you goon.

NONE ARE SOLID, ALL JUST ENERGY!

So if matter exists on a frequency then what's the transmitter?

    CREATION!!!!

The god in the Bible and all Mythologies are Bullshit...

The angels and things that built pyramids etc are called Aliens..

    You get it?

  • You have a gross misunderstanding of physics. Matter is not Energy. Matter is anything that has mass and occupies a volume, neither of these are true for Energy. Mass can be converted into energy however, don't get confused. Please don't pretend you know about physics. Your ridiculous claims would make Einstein turn in his grave.

Energy is a scalar physical quantity

Angels didn't build the Pyramids, African slaves did

It's fair enough to believe in all your God nonsense, but don't insult science

  • First Off! I don't believe in God!! You dipshit! I believe in a Creative force.

And What is Matter? Protons, electrons, neutrons, etc...all Vibrating energy.. None is solid you dumb-fuck.

The term matter traditionally refers to the substance that all objects are made of.. which is?

In other words, matter is made up of interacting "building blocks",[4][5] the so-called particulate theory of matter.[6]

Building Blocks...hmmm... I wonder what those are genius..

I'll wait for your answer Einstein.

  • No, they aren't vibrating energy, you fucking moron. I explained this to you. MATTER IS NOT ENERGY. Please don't pretend you know anything about physics, you're clearly confused. 'Building blocks' is a metaphor that refers to fundamental particles. In the case of Protons and Neutrons, these would be quarks. None of these are energy, although they do have an equivalent, proportional value. Most Particles do vibrate, this certainly doesn't mean that matter and energy are the same thing.

    Idiot

  • LOL... Man... You don't get it.

We just don't have a name for the "Type" of energy, like Orgone Energy, or Zero Point Energy. These things didn't exist to us 80 years ago because we had no way to document it. Some are still in Debate.

These "Partials" are a "Type" of energy. Modern and Quantum science will confirm this soon....

Everything in existence in some form of energy.

    Here's a Fact,

I am not a Physicist and I'm betting neither are you,

so an outsider would call us both idiots.

    ;)

  • Of course neither of us are physicists, but any physicist would tell you that matter is not a form of energy. That is a 'matter of fact', if you'll excuse the pun, lol.

No area of Quantum mechanics suggest that matter and energy are the same thing. Matter is anything that has mass and consumes a volume, that is the Layman's definition, neither of these are true for Energy. Energy is a scalar quantity

So, to reiterate, I do get it. Stop confusing different theories of physics with one another

  • ha ha sweet you have faith thats all you need

  • If at some point even before time & space there was nothing, (no matter to create a big bang, no quarks, no string theory, no empty space & no time) Where did it all come from?

  • Embarrassing yourself because you are superstitious and want to believe in the magic man who lives in the sky. Get back to me?

If you believe in logic? I can prove there is no God.

I suspect you're a bit of an attention whore, saying "look at me, I love myself. I am great, in the name of the Lord".

    Whatever floats your boat?

  • sorry dude, you can't disprove anything.

  • Good video Apollos. You speak well and passionately.

May the glory of God continue to flow through you - and in doing so, flow to others.

  • Sex, drugs and rock and roll...

Music is the pipe of the devil.

  • God can not be proven, only experienced and known. Those who have experienced God need no proof, those who seek proof will never find it. God is beyond all names, religious concepts, descriptions, & definitions. If you believe in God, then practice it! If you don't believe in God, then be a good humanists. But don't waste your time with these endless, meaningless, cliche debates. If you don't believe in Christianity, then move on to something else. Have you people ever heard of dialogue?

  • Your argument is sound up until the point when a group of people want to transform a nation into a theocracy.

  • The COOOOOLEST comment I've ever read! Kudos buddy!

  • "God can not be proven, only experienced and known"

truth can be proven, experienced, and known.

  • God is Truth. God/Truth doesn't have to be proven. Any attempt to "prove" God/Truth will fall apart. Truth is here, God is here...and all one has to do is stop looking, stop "trying" to prove, and wake up to what is here.

  • god doesn't have to be proven and he can't be proven. ok. fine.

you have to understand some people aren't happy with blind faith.

you say that there should be more dialogue which im assuming means more discussion about these topics then you say "stop looking".

i will never stop questioning and "trying" to prove. there's nothing wrong with trying to prove your beliefs. it's ok to think you might be wrong, this is healthy, it means you haven't given up.

  • yep. He's not something that can be proven to others in this day and age. But God proved that He's there to me daily!

One way is that I was diagnosed with a supposedly incurable disease, MS...and while it's not totally gone in my opinion it feels extremely close. I couldn't even walk down the hallway to use the bathroom with out holding on to things on the way there for most of these months. I got saved and everything I was experiencing started getting fixed.

  • We are the World wasn't because of a war. It was to raise awareness and money for African poverty relief.

  • He has a Les Stroud sort of look to him

  • But, who created god?

  • no one created God, God has been here forever and he will be here forever

  • That makes just as much sense as saying we have bin here since the start of time and will be here till the end of time.

  • i don't think you get the whole concept of God. there was no start of time and there will be no end of time. don't try to understand because our minds can not grasp the concept of infinite.

  • That was my point when I said "start of time" and "end of time" I implied some thing that never starts and never ends, "time". "god has ALWAYS bin here" makes EXACTLY as much sense as saying people have always bin here. You have no direct (you need some out of the box thinking for this) proof that people haven't always bin on earth, "since the start of time" you see fossils and stuff, but you where not there to see it happen. In the end EVERY thing we do is based on faith. I think therefor I am.

  • You don't make any sense at all. We do have proof that humans have not always been here. The proof is that the oldest human that we have found was named sue and we found him 3.5 million years ago and the earth was made 4.6 billion years ago.

  • LoL. Clearly you do not have the "out of the box thinking" I mentioned. I am saying you do not know. All you do is assume. You can't know any thing but one fact. There is some thing there. You do not even have proof you exist as you think you do. You "could" be in the matrix. That is the point of the famous quote "I think, therefor I am." That is the only truth in this world.

  • Thats right i don't but what does that have to do with God. you just totally went off track of what ur point was.

  • Beautiful video! Very well done technically and I think you VERY logically touched on the importance of experience in this endless dialogue.

Also, you can add how humans can't logically explain other things we take for granted every day... like the state of consciousness of others. "I think therefore I am" only proves the existence of the self, etc.

    Overall very nice. :)

  • Fairy tales change lives........

Great job playing the victim in this video, unfortunately the rest of us non-believers are constantly being victimized by your church of intolerance. You don't have to look any deeper than California's Prop. 8 to see that the church wants to legislate its beliefs on others.

That is just the tip of the iceberg. Stop playing the victim. Your church has taken too much from too many people for far too long.

  • I know atheists who don't support Prop. 8 and theists who do. :)

Just saying. Don't blame it on the church. Blame it on the voters, if you have to blame anyone.

  • I agree with you that discrimination can come from any direction, and I'm sure there are hateful people under any label. That being said, this particular case can be traced directly back to Christianity. It's easy to see why.....

"If a man lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination and they shall surely be put to death."---- Leviticus 20:13

The Christian/Mormon church directly influenced people to vote for discrimination.

  • The Mormon Church spent millions of dollars in California to get prop.8 passed.

I really don't care if gay people can or cannot get married. What I do care about is when someone is told they are different from the rest of society and are not entitled to something others have.

Imagine a 14 year girl or boy just realizing that they are gay. That has to be hard enough but then to have the state remind them that they will always be viewed as different and not part of "normal" society.

  • This video is pretty much my thoughts on my religion.

  • Can you believe that you are an idiot if someone threatened you with fire?

  • we are the wolrd!!!!!!!!!!!!! was for live aid not a war read a history book it was too feed the poor in the world and look at what the god fearing people did to it.music is man kind connecting to one another. tell robert johnson that the church welcomed him ( he would say not) thats why he sold his soul to legba (legba is not the devil but a african vereation of st. peter. ohh and we are the wold song was gay arty farty crap not real like god

  • I think STORY is the operative word.

  • if more religious people thought like you the world would be a better place.

  • i try not to judge, unless its one of those wayy crazy religions that require u to kill urself or other people. i think the thing is everyone is looking for answers. why are we here? who are we? and what happens when we die. do we just live for this moment adn then we are gone>? does our essence live on? and ppl question if jesus is real. many different religions have their own version of jesus. odd right? i think he existed. i think ppl believed in this man who brought hope. but thats my view.

  • Thanks for expressing that opinion. I only wish more people could understand that by the end of the day, whether we are Atheist, Agnostic, or Theist, we are still human beings.

  • Thanks for confirming the fact that the story of Jesus Christ is a MYTH.

  • This is an awesome passion filled video.

  • Thanks to his video I have turned to my lord and savior Jesus Christ..

    ..

    ..

    ..

    SIKE!

  • ok that was so uncalled for, rude and retarded. that just makes you even stupider than you are, sorry for saying that but think about it

  • 3rdWorldCrusader, i don't know if you want to play around like that with the lords name in a joke.

Third commandment: 'You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.'

You shall not make wrongful use of the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not acquit anyone who misuses his name Exodus 20:7

  • well done lad, i agree with you that we all have our self delusions...this is actually a defense mechanism for our brains so that we do not become depressed or stressed out. sometimes we are smarter than the mechanism though. if you are able to look past strong emotions and these mechanisms (no matter how strong they may be) and seek truth...answers arise to those who seek it. i understand that religion is about death and our self knowledge of this event...we all fear it, we cope differently

  • Kind of stepped in your own shit by using Proverbs 18:2. But you're not really on youtube to teach the bible now are you?

  • Surly you realize that proverb 18.2 is only to be aimed at oneself.

  • Matt 5:22 Take that clown!!

  • We all have fearful moments and some of us choose to embrace that fear and realize it's within our power to overcome it and benefit from that experience in which prepares us for future conflict or struggle. Others choose to give their strength away and hope or pray that an external entity will protect them and unfortunately will never realize the strength within themselves for they have allowed the fear to consume them. For that reason, I believe faith is a dangerous thing.

  • You're just depressed Jack.

  • Hope is Not depressed...I bet u are an athesist because only athesist would say such crap...Life is all about Hope.Go Read a book about Hope Theory...Athesist.

  • Is athesist a new word? By the way Im christian. Poor Jack IS depressed and his ego needs some attention. That's why he makes videos. He is an entertainer, a "reality performer" like the rest of the vlogers who vomit up their lives on screen for all the world to see. Dont you get it?...It's" JACK TV!" coming at you live from jacks head. It's ALL about "JACK" baby!! He's really just another depressed entertainer/vloger who's addicted to you tube and thinks making vids will help fill the void.

  • It seems that you possess some sort of inside information about Jack's personal life to detect his depression and insecurity from his videos. If you do, really, you should share it with us.

  • I just did share it with you. I doubt that jack would deny my observations. In fact i'll even venture to guess that Jack has had dreams of being an actor or performer, maybe he took drama in high school. People dont vlog for the altruistic need educate the public. They do it for attention. In the 70'sAndy warhol said that in the future everyone will be famous for 15min. Who knew it was actually going to be possible.

  • Proverbs 18.2

  • Are you talking to yourself Jack?

  • Indeed I have treaded the path of the fool on many occasions this time however, my anonymous youtuber, it is your companion not mine. peace homie gee funk :)

  • You are entitled to your opinion and athesist is not a word...because athesist is worthless...and Jack is entitled to be who he wanted to be...2 different person can see the same things at 2 different angle.

  • How can you prove God when you don't even know who he is? You cant prove the unknown. You have this feeling in you, but you don't know how to prove it. Thats becouse for some reason you did not even start with the bible. Yet, as a christian surely you can quote one rational verse from the bible that proves his existance. You did nothing, but talk about music, and same old dying for ones sins, and so on. How can a human begin have certainty in to something which is impossible, and irrational.

  • You need faith as you have no evidence !

  • You need faith as you have no evidence !

  • i couldnt have put it in better words...

    GOD BLESS YOU!

MAY OUR LORD KEEP ON USING YOU....AND TOUCHHHH MANY LIVES...AND MAY THE SEED BE PLANTED THRU THIS VID!

AHHHHHHHHHH IM IN LOVE WITH THIS...GR8!

    GOD BLESS YOU!

  • I think that it's true that at the end of the day, it doesn't matter. For people to believe is one thing, but I think it's more important that people show respect towards others. It's not only what people believe, it's how they live.

    Peace.

  • We tell you that your gullible and delusional out of concern for you and your life. We honestly believe that reason and rationality is superior to superstition and emotionalism. I for one are at peace with you believing anything you want to believe as long as you don't start becoming a vengeful crusader for jesus and start justifying cruelity and even murder for jesus in your mind as can be seen in some christians.

  • Hello Jack

    You are really nice guy

I wish you prayed as Joshua prayed and as All the Prophets(peace be upon them all) prayed.

  • Joshua was a Muslim since he prayed as Muslims do...

    * "And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship..."-(JOSHUA 5:14).

    * "And he (Elijah) cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees."-(1 KINGS 18:42).

  • Hindus pray like that too.

  • * "And they (Moses and Aaron) fell upon their faces..."-(NUMBERS 20:6).

    * "And Abraham fell on his face..."-(GENESIS 17:3).

    * "...when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the Lord, he arose from before the altar of the Lord, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven."-(1 KINGS 8:54)

  • * "Now when Daniel...went into his house; and his window being open in his chamber towards Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and thanks before his God, as he did aforetime."-(DANIEL 6:10).

  • * "And he (Jesus) went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed..."-(MATTHEW 26:39)

  • * "I am the Lord thy God...Thou shalt have no other gods before Me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them nor serve them."-(THE FIRST COMMANDMENT, EXODUS 20:2-5)

  • God coming down as a man is not abrahamic, its paganism... God will not come to earth and wake on this earth... Its not about he can't, its about he doesn't have to..

  • Aren't you guys breaking the first commandment by putting Jesus(pbuh) and Mary(pbuh) pictures in the churches and worshiping them. Isn't this no different then idol worshiping.

  • Music is Haram and its the tactic of Shaytan

  • Awesome video Jack! :)

    God Bless you! :)

    In Faith,

    Nathan

  • Did you notice one of those language games you sometimes like to refer to creep up and bite you in the ass..?

  • I'm really happy to see how Christianity has helped your life. This is a Christian video I actually really like. Good work. As a former Christian, the opposite holds true for me. The fact that there is no big brother god watching my every move is extremely comforting. I'm glad you believe something because you want to believe it not because someone coerced you into believing it with hellfire.

  • So Jack, then you should be willing to teach alternative ideas that motivate since there are many. Not everyone will get the same value from the same songs and stories as you do, and to present your storybook as real and the best one, especially to children, is harmfully ignorant. Thinking it is real is vastly different than accepting it as useful, and has shown to corrupt motivations in the wrong direction like creationism.

  • What happened to your eyebrows?

  • I think he shaved them off and at the time of this video they are still growing back. I could be wrong.

  • Awesome - short version: stories can make you feel excited, and you found an exciting story. Cool. I get that buzz from Citizen Kane.

And for user stevenwhunter's comment: peek into epidemiology and hegemony and you'll see part of why "Jesus" is an influence.

  • My favorite vid of yours - glad to see it again.

  • I want the eyebrows back please...

Now I have to download that song.... thanks a lot.

    5/5 for your honesty.

    -4/5 for being a christian.(I'm just kidding)

  • r u sure ur not black inside xD u love music and it makes u orgasm and u shout wen u talk about god xD

  • Dang... you look like you were run over by a truck...

  • Did you get in a fight?

  • I can tell this is pretty old. Your eyebrows are slightly shaven.

  • Moving. I reposted this on Myspace to my 16,000 Myspace Friends. Peace Brother.

  • You are a beautiful soul LoA :) I'm so glad you're on YouTube to share with us.

  • hmm... one cant' but wonder if you took you medication today. kindest regards,

  • This is powerful man

  • Glad you can admit that it is just a myth.Have fun with it!

  • I have many delusions too , and i dont care if its so because that all matters to me in some way.

  • Very nice video, i can have good respect for christians like you

  • Yes, yes, I remeber this one. I actually thought about asking you to post it again... I am glad others actually asked! This is a very moving video... I am so glad I got to see it again! Thank you! God bless you. :)

  • I really needed to hear this today. Thanks for posting this, especially the time when you did.

  • Of course there is power in myth and in stories. Why do you think every culture has its own literary and mythological tradition? And yes, the story of Jesus, which is essentially the story of the victory of suffering love and solidarity, is one of the most powerful stories in our history as a species. But you don't have to believe in the historicity or literal truth of a story to take from it the lessons, the hope, and the inspiration contained therein.

  • Jack ... the atheists also believe in stories ... followers of Richard Dawkins believe we that we are descendants of bacteria ... which story is more delusional ?

  • One story has proof, and hint hint, it's not yours.

  • Jack, all your videos sounds repetitive. Do something new, tell us your stance on Iraq war, Palestinian conflict. Do some videos that are related to the current events in the world and point out your argument.Relate ur points with these events. Anyways, nevermind.

  • you look better rested these days than you did then.good message.peace

  • Praise the lord almighty!

  • Awesome video Jack.. God bless you brother

  • We've been through this before, Jack. The subjectivity of emotion has no bearing on the objectivity of its truth value. You're certainly passionate, and I respect that, but it has little to do with how true it all is.

We dont all demand 'proof'. Most reasonable sceptics just demand a justified, objective epistemological reason. Whether that be from science, history, philosophy, or whatever.

Me? I value truth, honesty, sagacity. They've done me more than good in my life and relationships.

  • But is "how true it all is" really relevant to larger questions of purpose, solidarity, love and hope? It seems to me that religion is as much a part of human way of dealing with the world as are language, art, music, and so on, and we would be impoverished in a world envisioned by Dawkins, Hitchens, et al. To demand the same kind of truth from religion as we demand from science or history is simply misguided. We're not looking for facts, here, but for meaning, purpose and a sense of who we are.
