it seems like nakamura goes for obtaining many small victories in a row on the board that eventually lead to a complete domination of the board. very nice! These videos are so great! Thank you!

You took your whipping like a man, kingscrusher. Just from the awkwardness with which your cursor is moving around I could tell you were in for a hard time. That said, great video and hopefully you got to take the chance to learn from one of the very best. And thanks for sharing with us all.
Wow I'm impressed. This is amazing to see this against a GM. Thank you for your vids I'm learning more every day as I watch. This is a fun way to learn that's for sure.
yea, I was referring to the FIDE rating list, there he is 24th. It is sad the he did not play in the world blitz as it would have been interesting to see how he would fare there.
It was only a matter of time until you ran into Nakamura on the autopairing! If you watch him play on the ICC or Playchess, you'll know that in the rare event he gets outplayed, he's always up on the clock and steals a win/draw on time.

Good game Kingcruscher. To play against one of the best players in the history of the world, does not happened very often.

Methinks you could beat Nakamura taking away his knight at the end.

Was that really Nakamura? He still have 4 min when you're down to 1.5 and at a losing position. Wow.

he's 8th in the world now lol

@admahood it still loses I think but it looks to be a good try for blitz

@admahood queen takes it with check, king moves to g1, Qg6+, kh1 , nxf2+ wins

Man that's hilarious .. i would've had the same reaction if the name Smallville popped up liked that

You psyched yourself out. You had counter chances with Rg1. Take a deep breath next time!
bmg0079 2 years ago 4
All that and he still only used less than 2 minutes.

his position was awesome.. :)

LOL Great game man! You played very well considering hes one of the top players in the world and a very good blitz player.

NAKMURA, ITS NAKAMURA!!! :D
far too much respect for him. cant you chance options, that you do not see the opponents elo?
would have significantly helped in this game.

it's okay to loose to the 24th best player in the world.

Kingcrusher why not Bxg7?
DaltonMoti 2 years ago
thinking the same thing
gungawats4din 2 years ago
i saw why not... if Bxg7, Qf3+, Kg1, then Qg4+ lose the Bishop and nothing happens.
hiimamelia 2 years ago
what? what move? 24? he wouldn't even need to take the bishop. Bxg7 is terrible cause
24 Bxg7, Qf3+ 25 Kg1, Rd6 26 Be5, Nxe5 27 Qxe5, Rg6+ 28 Qg3, Rxg3+ 29 hxg3, Qxa3 and black has a queen + 3 passed pawns
rulo0801 2 years ago 3
yeah but that's better than the actual game :) Exposing his king with a bishop sac would have been a bit of fun, that's all :)

I wander how Naka would fare against Karpov.Karpov recently beat Karlsen in a fast chess game.
gologram 2 years ago 3
one should never underestimate a former world champion! Still, Karpov hasn't been playing up to his level recently.

what about 24. Bxg7 exposing his king with a sac, just for fun

Omg how I enjoyed this. Your reaction to realizing it was Naka was priceless. Great effort throughout, I would have given up at move 1.

This is the guy who checkmated Rybka with a massive army of bishops, right?

Didn't nakamura have at 5:16 Qb5? Qb5 threatens capture on f1 but also capture on e5.
