@Eriq7001 they got back togehter in 2005 and replaced kandi with keisha but that didn't work out and they just stopped working with each other all together

@johnsom32 True..but that didnt work out. My them Tiny reportedly got tired of the Scott sisters and Keisha Miles (Kand'i replacement) was really bought in as a 4th member to sing background. It didnt work.

@RideTheMaverickTV lol THANK YOU! Latocha thouigh that becasue she was the oldest, leader of the group and lead singer shie would have a long solo career in music. NOT. Kandi and Tameka Scott were the soul voices of the group (in my opinion). It amazes me how Tameka Scott showed her true colors..yes she sided iwth her sister and starting trashing Kandi- Even discussing the Kandi left with JD. Now that was a no no. Both the Scott sisters seem phony ass hell.

Yes, I was saying that just the other day. Music in the millenium don't have shit on the 90's music. The groups that came out in the 90's had artist who actually could SING, none of this studio voice changing nonsense they have going on now. I can sing a whole song done in the 90's, millenium music gets on my nerve. smh. Miss the 90's.

LaTocha tried to negotiate a solo album behind the group's back, saying that if she didn't get a solo album, she wouldn't record the Traces Of My Lipstick album. She also wasn't upfront with the group when they asked her was she going solo. All of this lead to the breakup of Xscape. I know, I was trippin' on my comment, lol, but I just wish she wouldn't have been out for herself, and would have been honest with them.

I know, right? That story doesn't even make any sense. Kandi also sang a lot of leads like LaTocha did, maybe not as much, but she was right up there with LaTocha as far as lead singing goes. A friend of mine named Fred who worked with JD at So So Def at that time told me that LaTocha was out for herself from the very beginning.

im down wit xcape, the 90s was a time when there was real music. no lip sync, no hoochies (lol)/groupies, no bullshit artists. i wish i could go back in time! yall remember all da bangin girl groups?... xscape, total, blaque, 702, changin faces, etc. there will never be another era like da 90s, today's music has no heart and natural talent. such a shame

pure soul consisted of 4 ladies & had the hit "stairway to heaven", drama were a funky 3some with the hit "See Me", On Edge sang "Edge of my bed" & Seduction came out in 1989 - they were hot!!! was an interracial group with a few hits "two to make it right" "heart beat" & "youre my one and only"..check em out, theyre all on youtube;-)
