This isnt butchering cause he's dared to do something no choreographer apart from ratmansky has in this day and age - attempt to revitalize the classics. Now his raymonda is not my favourite, but at the same token I have to pay a bit of credit to him for creating a new raymonda. Trust me there are far worse butcherings of petipa choreography.

@prestonandrew - you think THIS is great choreography? Great dancing? Yes. Great choreography? No. Not much of great choreography, at least with regard to Petipa, survives in Paris, unless one counts Nureyev's choreographic butcherings as great.
