Royal Oppression ban sucks. One was fine. Both players can use it and it costs 700 each time. I don't see how it was unbalanced enough to get rid of it. Black Luster Soldier is back though? He is already cheap enough. And 2 Swords of Reveling Light/Call of the Haunted? Unnecessary.

Just in my opinion, i didn't like the fact that Black Luster Soldier returned, he can remove a monster, regardless of its position, and its 3000 :p. Overload Fusion at 3, well, if somebody is re-taking Chimeratech, i guess that is going to be sacky somehow. Call of the Haunted at 2? is horrible, i agree that the fact that you can use other monsters' effect because of Call of the Haunted.

A lot of the new banlist is to promote Exceeds. Between Call @ 2, Gravity @ 3, Monk @ 2, and Oppression @ 0; that's Pro-Exceeds. My Twilight Plants deck was great against almost all the meta to begin with. (Very high winning % with it) Add in another Gardna, another JD, AND a BLS. That brings that deck to a whole new level. I can post you a decklist of it if you're interested. Primal Seed spam with all the grave recursion could see BLS on the board easily to get back monsters, spells, or traps.

Goodbye Fish OTK (which granted was broke as heck, but the solution is to hurt Hyper Librarian, not friggin' Fishborg), goodbye Frognarchs (a completely non-broke deck that didn't deserve to be smashed), goodbye Plant engine (hit Debris Dragon, not it and Lonefire), goodbye Psychics (just when they could actually be good), goodbye Sams (honestly not as broke as everyone says...just semi Shi En and Smoke Signal and you're ok). Screw Konami.

I would like to make one point. Smoke signal to one needed to happen and IMO I think all searchers should be at one (at least spell ones) because it opens up plays that you normally would have and it isn't fair for you to have most if not all your deck able to go to your hand in one moment. Is it an instant plus? No, but in the hands of a skilled player it will be a plus and the game should be balanced around high end play no low end people that miss play 24/7. E-call should be at one also.

Royal Oppression wins the game most of the time it hits the field unless the player gets lucky and draws MST that game. The case might be differently now with 3 MSTs and Heavy, but it is still a fact that most decks cannot play around the card when it sits on the field all game.

I think if they hit Kageki and Smoke Signal to make it so it's more difficult to get Shi En out first turn, instead of making it so you can't have multiples on the field, it would have made more sense, since most people complain more about first turn Shi En than there are people complaining about double Shi En

Primal seed is in the TCG, it lets you get your Banished monsters back so long as you have an Envoy (pretty much to get back they"re cost, but you could use it to get back honest you removed for BLS or something like that).

I've been playing Lightsworn for a long time because like the the randomness of milling and this format will make LS "better" but not how people think. LS's main problem is it's randomness and without many lumina's to help keep the deck stable with milling, another Gardna and JD won't fix the problem. Don't get me wrong with 3 JD's and BLS, LS will be all over, but it will be a "you got the auto win or not" kinda decks. Although at the moment I feel Twilight out does LS for this format.

Capital G we've had primal seed wince IOC. Normal Spell if you have one of the envoys you can add 2 cards from your RFG to your hand. Its there because of a loop with Macros and Banisher with BLS on the field.
