I still haven't been able to get the SNES9X to get AVI files to play correctly. They always come out all laggy.

Here's how you do it:
1) Pick 'Record Movie' to start a frame counter
2) Play through to wherever and 'Stop Movie'
3) Go to 'Play Movie', then 'Record to AVI'
4) The playback is recorded!
The 'Record Movie' just stores the run somehow and goes at normal speed, while the recording goes at uber-slow speed. It takes awhile to make the movie to AVI (which is why I'm keeping my videos so short), but it should work that way.
Great. If this indeed does work, I'll be able to play Lufia II.
