for my fuses i take powder out of a shotgun shell and use that. last year i was using a bp fuse and instead of burning it blew up in my face and i had to make a new fuse for the bomb ( the fuse blew up not the bomb) i think i had it rolled to tight

heres a really good suggestion... SOAK THE PAPER IN KNO3 AND SUGAR!!! then add a line of black powder then roll. wen it dries the knos + sugar will go hard causing the black powder to turn into a solid. when lit its quite crazy BUT REALLY WORKS.

You don't need to use that much powder. A third or even a quarter of what you used is plenty. You don't even have to pour it on, just rub it on both sides of the TP. Then starting at the corner, roll the TPas tight as you can.  Why? The fuse will be longer, and nothing will "leak" out the ends.
