ah i remember this sound! my ps1 had a problem so it would only load discs half the time, the other times it would just freeze, this music would bring tension as i waited and hoped it would work..

Actually the playstation didn't come out untill 1995 ('94 in japan) and they stopped using this logo when it was discontinued in 2006.
