Considering that one batch of trees will never be enough to fill the storage as it is currently, and trees can't be autoplanted like many other crops. At least not without mods. While in that same space you had all those storage areas, you could potentially plant a /lot/ more trees in a more standard tree farm. Still it is a might achievement, and I look forward to seeing the final version. Although what happened to the pushing upward method you showed in the last video?
@MindCaged It's true that it'll never be as space efficient as planting trees normally, but it was built to have all of the logs go to one location, so you don't have to constantly pillar up to cut down taller trees. This has the potential to save time when collecting logs, as each log is right next to each other and no leaves are in the way. You can also spam bonemeal in each station and the machine will move logs out of the way so you can spam the same dirt block again.

I suspect that it's not as hard as it looks to me ATM, but I'm having a little trouble understanding it, and I've made quite a few piston creations on my channel. Although I haven't worked with sand conveyors yet and I guess the conveyor system is the one I'm having a hard time understanding, I understand the principles, but not the fine points. A normal tree farm would be easier though for the space involved.
@dodo2000107 It's designed with natural tree growth in mind. Not everyone has bonemeal. =P And the tutorial will only cover one module. This is just 43 modules connected together.
@dodo2000107 The newest design will be in a cross formation using even more compact modules than shown here. As such, there would only be four storage sections. I think by inverting the way I setup the sensors, you would only need one sticky piston for each area, while the rest are normal pistons. It would still only be able to hold 11 layers of logs though. I just like the way the glass and glowstone looks for the vertical pistons in this design. =)
@dodo2000107 Instead of attaching the output of the overflow sensor to a piston, send it to an AND gate that shuts off the clock running the cobble gen.
Could we possibly get a tutorial on one of the wood processers?

OK scratch that, it would be able to hold 12 layers, but the part above the sticky pistons could only hold 11. So it won't be a perfect cube. =P
