To be fair - Soccer is an uppercrust term invented by English toffs - coming from "AsSOCiation Football". A bit like "Rugger" comes from Rugby.
It got taken over to America where the two games split bizarrely into their crossbreed between Gaelic football and rugby; and proper football.
The more popular version got called "football" even though it was mainly a catching game. "Soccer" retained it's uppercrust name - they might as well have called it "LaCrosse".

Your game is very close to the original rules of Association Football from 1863.
A "free kick" meant picking the ball up like a goalkeeper does today and booting it between some posts (with no crossbar -which Aussi rules have kept). The idea of scoring more for putting the ball in the goal (3 points) as opposed to over it (1 point) I suspect is a fairly modern invention. But maybe you can clarify/correct that.
Certainly, in 1863, there was no crossbar in any version.

COBMapler look Spain is great at keeping posession and making the opponent pressured, and also they are good tactically. meaning they know how to put the rival attackers in offside by playing and keeping up with the line. Netherlands SHOULD of watched that and know how they play before they final, and again

I almost cried when the US lost to Ghana for the second WC in a row, but I managed to watch almost every remaining match that I could, despite the heartbreak. I LOVE football. It's a GREAT sport. To be fair - Soccer is an uppercrust term invented by English toffs - coming from "AsSOCiation Football". A bit like "Rugger" comes from Rugby.
It got taken over to America where the two games split bizarrely into their crossbreed between Gaelic football and rugby; and proper football.
The more popular version got called "football" even though it was mainly a catching game. "Soccer" retained it's uppercrust name - they might as well have called it "LaCrosse".

Your game is very close to the original rules of Association Football from 1863.
A "free kick" meant picking the ball up like a goalkeeper does today and booting it between some posts (with no crossbar -which Aussi rules have kept). The idea of scoring more for putting the ball in the goal (3 points) as opposed to over it (1 point) I suspect is a fairly modern invention. But maybe you can clarify/correct that.
Certainly, in 1863, there was no crossbar in any version.

when fabregas passed to iniesta i think it was and van der vaart stopped it, iniesta was offside so even though it was blocked the ref should have whistled for offside as iniesta CAME BACK FROM OFFSIDE plus when iniesta scored and took off his shirt he got his SECOND yellow card but was NOT sent off the field.

Iniesta was completely "inactive" in the move. No defender saw him - and he wisely stepped quickly back into an onside position. Then he scored from the next pass.
Nothing wrong with it at all under the current rules.
As for taking off his shirt - this referee showed (again) his human side, the reason he was put in the final.
After scoring the winning goal in the World Cup final, you get sent off for a celebration!!??

COBMapler look Spain is great at keeping posession and making the opponent pressured, and also they are good tactically. meaning they know how to put the rival attackers in offside by playing and keeping up with the line. Netherlands SHOULD of watched that and know how they play before they final, and again
currently the only way a team can clearly beat Spain is with stop balls (f.ks, pks,) or having the skills to kick from outside, because is complicated to score inside the goal line.
