@TheLarsRosen 1- no one is saying he doped all the time, he might have used it couple of times a year, before or during the TDF( blood transfusion)
2 if you do your research you'll realize that drug testing in cycling(for a long time) has been a farce. if one is careful he can use them without getting caught. I encourage you to look up Bjarne Riis. TDF winner 1996. never tested positive. look up Festina affair- they had been using for years, never tested pos. caught because team car was raided.

The only thing we know for for sure is that Tyler himself used banned drugs and have fooled us all with his stellar doped performances as LBL win, Olymic gold medal and TdF stage win. One must ask why Tyler actually gave this interview, it does not make Tyler a less cheater, twice doper and banned for life to participate in a cycle race ever again.

Doping is the responsibility of Cyling Organizations. If they don't have a highly reliable method for detecting whether any and all cyclists are doping, then why on earth would the world's best cyclists let lesser ones who dope steal all the glory and prize money? Imagine if you were the best at something but because it's so easy to cheat you are never recognized as the best? Doping will go away once you test everyone and your method is highly reliable. Until then, I would dope too.

Innocent till proven guilty. Some may say that won't happen as it will ruin the sport, however, only when that happens or Lance confesses, will I believe he cheated and subsequently have strong strong hatred for him. For now, his story remains one of the most inspirational in sport.

Moreover, publicity has NOTHING to do with TH testimony on 60 Minutes, since it's the same testimony he gave in front of a grand jury, along with other cyclists, investigating LA's doping allegations. I only meant to say that depending on an athlete's merit and the situation things can be different.
