Personally, this song will never beat the final battle theme with the transformed Shroob Queen.

This is more of a traditional battle theme -- that was sad and epic, this is more clearly a battle theme. They have different goals and succeed in each. This is better as a battle theme, though the second shroob one is a better song overall, and more climactic.

On another note, (and possibly, semi-spoilers), I find myself wondering if Cackletta was ever intended to be in the game. I mean, it just seems to me that since the last place you fight her is inside bowser in the first game, you'd at least see a reference to her in this game.
