Me too. When I first heard the song, I thought she just sounded like any other singer. Honestly, on her lower registers, she does sound like a regular singer who tries to imitate the (tired) mainstream riffs and runs. However, when she hit the first high note, I was like, WOW! I'm not sure though if I would like her other songs if she always has to sing in high registers to grab attention, but I really dig the lyrical content of this one!
