I am actually shocked, G.W. is amazing. i met dave when i was 18 im now 57, i was andys milkman at the age of 16, and i bought many a pint for micky. welsh musicians are just the tops, i played drums for 20 yrs but to be honest im crap. these people are also the nicest u could wish 2 meet. they also play with the best in the world, i miss the old days now i moved abroad. andy is soo under-rated, great video which i think was made about 10 yrs ago. thanks 4 the posting. its great 2 watch.
Some years ago Dave recorded a TV concert in Cardiff featuring other local celebs, Andy Fairweather, Geraint Watkins, Pino Palladino and Micky Gee among others. I am not sure when it was broadcast but it was a few years ago and was a truly outstanding gig.
Andy has played with EC, Dave is a Welsh Legend and Geraint knocks the socks off anybody who has the temerity to call themelves a musician. Saw this when it was televised and it was all stunning stuff.
If you love this, search out Geraint's albums from the '80s with The Balham Alligators and his LP "Geraint Watkins And The Dominators" -- Van Morrison recognizes talent when he hears it. Too bad more record (CD) buyers don't!
