@P4nzerk93 one reason in this recording is lack of resources. varg recently did some re-recordings of old stuff. it's decent in that you can make more sense of the underlying riffs, but lacks the angst and frustration the originals had.

Infamous would perhaps be a better word. Varg Vikernes, a.k.a.-Burzum, never set out for fame. The only reason he got noticed by the media was because he killed Euronymus and burnt down four churches. People didn't find out about his music until later.

Black metal in general didn't get noticed until after the actions the performers did e.g. chuch burnings.
