The modern day contemporary church is a weak ineffectual voice with an uncertain sound, and a arch defender of the status quo. EYE simply dismiss it as an irrelevant social club with absolutely no meaning.
These folks on this post are crazy. You can't go to what you are we are the church and going to a building will not make you any more than a Christian anymore than standing in your Garage will make you are car.
@Blazeman1 True! Going to a building will not make you a Christian, but that is true of many things that we do, as Christians. Jesus is not looking for invisible Christians, that don't see a need to promote their faith. Jesus is looking for Christians that will be willing to come together and function as the Body of Christ, with Jesus as the head of that spiritual body! I admit that today's visible church is in bad shape, for the most part..
@Pastorbillanddesi Well we are invisible Mon-Sat and Then we show up on Sunday inside the four walls of a church and we are invisible on sunday as well. Promoting my faith is living a life that reflects Christ, and you don't do that in a building. You don't come together to function, you function in your everyday Life. Church does not teach you how to be a christian it teaches you how to be a good church member.
@Blazeman1 How do you obey the teachings in ICor 12,that tell the Body of Christ, the Church, that it is not one member, but many members, needing one another, and that the EYE CAN NOT SAY unto the HAND, I HAVE NO NEED OF YOU,and so on? The Biblical examples that we have of the Church, have to do with believers meeting together, eating together, supporting one another, emotionally, financially, and physically, and teaching and warning one another, etc. What do you do to promote this growth?
@Pastorbillanddesi Very Easy..I do what the bible says I have fellowship Just because I don't go to a building does not mean I do not fellowship and that is a part of the problem. Its with our understand of the word. The Church grows not because of what I do but what Chirst did he adds to the church daily.
@Pastorbillanddesi What I do to promote this growth is urge people to learn to love unconditionally, forgive and learn to understand where a person is and help guide them to where they feel God is trying to lead them or where they feel they need to be in there heart. People don't go from a-z anywhere. They take on step at a time to reach the holiness other believe they have achieved.
@FreedomGale Jesus didn't seem to have a problem with my light(shine)and Gods light(shine)becoming ONE!! I'm striving to get to the place in God that Jesus says,HE WANTS ME TO BE! It was Jesus who said,*YOU*,(SPEAKING OF HIS DISCIPLES) *ARE THE LIGHT OFF THE WORLD*. IT WAS JESUS WHO SAID,LET*YOUR*LIGHT SHINE before men, that they may SEE *YOUR* GOOD works,AND GLORIFY YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN.Matt5:14-16. I believe that Jesus's point is,to REPRESENT MY HEAVENLY FATHER ON THE EARTH! Desi
@HandsomeSoulbrother1 I am not referring to God as a Man. I Called God my Heavenly Father, not a man. The Bible refers to God as "Heavenly Father", not a man!! And, I believe that God is a Spirit, at the same time! Much of the modern day church is weak and effectual. That doesn't mean the I should be weak and ineffectual, too! My goal is to be effectual and strong, and reaching for something more than a social club. I won't give up, until God gives up! Desi
@Pastorbillanddesi So..... what is a "FATHER" besides a Man-Male? @ this point in your scholarship you BELIEVE as opposed to KNOWING that God is a spirit?
@HandsomeSoulbrother1 Yes,I believe,as opposed to knowing, and that is what the Bible tells me is necessary,to start with. I asked God,while I was in prayer, many years ago,how he would like me to refer to him. I BELIEVE God gave me the answer to my question, some days later, while I was in prayer. At the end of my prayer, A VOICE INSIDE OF ME SAID, "TO GOD THE FATHER, IN JESUS NAME". I excepted that answer, and had no confusion after that about how to view God! Desi
@Pastorbillanddesi Ok but.. you still have not answered my question as to why you refer to God as a Man? ( Male-Him-He ) especially since you BELIEVE that God is a spirit???
@HandsomeSoulbrother1 The Bible refers to God as a He,and the Bible has no conflict with God being a He and a Spirit at the same time. So,neither do I. Jesus called God a He,also.
@Pastorbillanddesi In my opinion "limiting" the Supreme All ( God as you understand the spirit ) as a "HE-HIM" is a insecure complex that displays male superiority views by those that wrote the bible because they believe in male domination and superiority over the Female. Case in point > The Angels, HaSatan and the Demons are also said to be Men-Male-Him-He. This also in my opinion seems to be a perverted concept. Can you factually prove that Jesus existed Historically > Outside of the bible?
@HandsomeSoulbrother1 I cannot prove that Jesus existed outside of the Bible. I cannot prove that other historical figures existed, either. Jesus has been mentioned by historians of that time, I am told! Josephus is one of the historians that wrote about Jesus and his disciples. You are welcome to PM us. Have a good day! Desi
@Pastorbillanddesi Oh and i do hope that you are not getting offended, or feel as though you are being attacked, i noticed your YouTube user name and assumed you are a pastor, and i simply love asking questions as they pertain to bibical concepts.
@HandsomeSoulbrother1 I appreciate you taking the time to say that it is not your intent to attack or offend me. My husband, who is a pastor, and I share our username. I am Desi
@Pastorbillanddesi Ok Greetings SiStar Desi. May I PM you and your Husband from time to time to ask questions? I think that would be more appropiate than taking up alot of space here. And I thank you for responding to my questions. May you are your Husband be blessed 'till times indefinate.
You suggested that Christians let God do the judging while Christians do the loving. The Bible teaches Christians, who are supposedly, followers of Jesus Christ,to shun sin, and to warn one another, and to beware of sexual sin, and to make judgments about what is spiritually healthy and spiritually unhealthy for the Christian community. Many believe that Jesus does not want us to embrace homosexually,(because we believe the Bible labels it as a sexual sin)even though we are to care about all people.
@Pastorbillanddesi Love the Lord thy God with all your heart mind and soul and love your neighbor as yourself. These are the last two commandments Jesus left us on which he said hangs or sums up the whole law. We could not keep the law. The Bible also says that their is not one person that does only good. Not ONE person! Did Jesus die in vain? Loving my neighbor and those who offend me is a big enough job for me. What about you?
@FreedomGale The love that Jesus talked about, extended to "feeding his sheep"and "his lambs". Jesus challenged Peter, saying, DO YOU LOVE ME, SIMON PETER? (Peter answered, saying, THAT HE LOVED JESUS). Jesus responded with A COMMANDMENT- Jesus said, FEED MY SHEEP... Jesus commanded his disciples to go into ALL THE WORLD, and to MAKE NEW DISCIPLES, AND TO TEACH THEM TO OBEY what Jesus taught them, to the end. Jesus hasn't changed his mind. Disciples are commanded to teach others!
@Pastorbillanddesi Yeah, well my friend; we all fall short and that's my biggest contention. The Bible also says "there is none that doeth good." There are many text that put us in bondage and one's that bring us out. If you live according to the law you will be judged by it. I choose not to do that because I could never win. None of us can, that's why Jesus came it's said right? Let's take the suggestions in the Bible from a holistic perspective or objective perspective and not so literally.
praise the lord ....check our hebrews 10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves...meaning we need to go to church. in you go to the book of james 1:27 pure religious is to take care of the motherless and etc. chrisitianity is just to follow after our elder brother Jesus ...who came lived, died and rose again to give us a chance at live. go back to your roots. jesus loves you and misses your very conversation. who every hurt you, let them go...you seem to be a gentle soul,
@Upyonder416 Thank you, you are very thoughtful. Jesus doesn't miss me, he knows where I am if Jesus is God. The true worshipers of God worship him in spirit and in truth. God is everywhere, this much I know I can never be separated from my Creator.
k I'll never forget the Jim Jones story. Every body should watch it. Yes, God dwells in human temples. That is the beauty of our relationship with God/Spirit God in us and we/us in God! I've been going to a Unity church for the past 6 months, singing when I can going to afternoon classes but the pastor won't let me sell my book in the bookstore because the word fart is in the title. she says she finds other ways to express her truth but misquotes the Bible in her sermons, I don' t in my book.
@Hope1981ful Thanks Hopeful, It sounds like you found the courage to be a free thinker. Thanks for watching! I'll stop in and check out your video. Peace and Blessings on your journey within.
ramonkey0807. Jesus redeemed the whole world with His blood. All men are redeemed. He purchased us all with His blood. We have all been reconciled to God by that blood and because of that blood God is not counting our sins against us. You obviously don't believe this. Your beliefs are built on the doctrines of men not on the gospel of grace and peace.
Now we do have to be honest however. A homosexual does need to hear the Gospel too. If it is the true gospel however it would turn them away from that lifestyle. You cant remain in the church claiming you love God if you live a sinful lifestyle. The church is supposed to change sinners not give them a safehaven.
@ramonkey0807 I have a chapter in my book on "Can gays be Christians." The Bible says the act is an abomination to God. So, by their own belief in the Bible they are condemned from Christianity it seems. However, we are under Grace if your a believer you should know that Gods grace through Christ covers all our sins. Because we could not keep the law and do what is "right and good," Christ was sent to cover our sins. I'm amazed that it's not in the ten commandments. Hummm
@ramonkey0807 the church can't change sinners. Jesus changed sinners at the cross by dying for them and taking the punishment for their sin. By one man's disobedience all were made sinners and by one man's obedience ALL WILL BE MADE RIGHTEOUS. The church presents Jesus as a catastrophic failure by preaching that He came to save the world when in actuality He really ends up saving very little of the world. The only question is did He succeed or did He fail? You obviously believe He failed.
@ramonkey0807 I hear you on that on so many levels. Bottom line is, God has a way to live life, and you and I cannot live life on our terms, and ask God to bless that. Sure, some of us may think that we're basically good people, and maybe some of us are, according to the world's terms. But God doesn't judge by our standards, He uses His. And the very evidence of our true love for God and having Christ in our hearts, is a changed life. And also, the "church" DOES NOT change anyone. Christ does!!
Why do you guys seem to omitt the scriptures that tell the homosexual that they will GO TO HELL?!!! Im not trynna be mean but it seems your guys just overlook the warnings from God concerning sin! I love you guys but better is open rebuke than secret love. When you love someone you are obligated to tell them the truth whether it hurts or not. I refuse to "love" people into hell by telling them what they want to hear. The truth must be told!
@ramonkey0807 The scriptures tell us that everybody falls short of the glory of God. That is why Jesus died for the sin of the whole world. Jesus redeemed all of mankind at the cross. God is not counting people sins against them. read 2 Corinthians 5:19.
@ramonkey0807 I totally agree, but on that same token, we are called to "love our neighbor as ourselves". That means, we are to still love homosexuals regardless of wheter they choose to change or not. It's NOT our job to try and change people; that is only for God. Our duty as believers is to point them to the truth, and the rest is up to them. We should never stop loving them just simply because they refuse to change. But we shouldn't shove it down their throats; doing more harm than good.
@ramonkey0807 You are ignorant! If you really have god's love and want people to have a relationship with him(as you are commanded by god) the church is the perfect place for homosexuals. Do you not remember Christs example? He was in the streets with the sinners and showed his father love if he wasn't to good for the rest of us what makes you think that you are above his examples and teaching I suggest you read your bible again and think about who you and your actions are reflecting
@thepainter3586 Well you are totally correct if you just look at the "church" as a building you go to. I agree you would fit in in most churches today because they are full of hypocritical sinners. As for homosexuals having a place in the true body of Christ that is a no go my sadly lost sister. There is no where in the bible where your practice is condoned therefore if you feel free coming and going as a sodomite without repentance i feel terribly sorry for you. ITS WRONG! ITS DEAD WRONG!!!!!!
Who? Me or you? It's okay to be confused it's okay to ask questions and it's okay to not now. But not asking why, we never find our answers. If you think I am confused that is okay. I often find myself uncertain about one thing or the other. It happens. It's nothing to be ashamed about. The answers we seek all come in time and nothing happens before its time.
Sister! I don't go to any Church anymore here in Australia too, because there are too many wicked and evil individuals and what not!?? Plus how is it that "Demons" can hang around a person?? Satan and Demons will BURN in an Eternity in HELL! I'm sick and tired of "Lawlessness" in the World today!
@Arthasmyheart I agree, there are some who have been freed but others not their story. I once had a friend who was addicted to drugs and got saved and was delivered that same night and never used again. She was pretty bad off. But, that was not my story, I had to go to treatment and meeting for years, some still use. The Bible teaches that God's love is unconditional and conditional. Who can know?
@painless78 I went through that as well; what is it that you do that makes you feel the most connected to God? Nature, walking, hiking, sitting by the water? Find it, do it and talk to God there.
@painless78 Good~ so do I. Use those times to talk to God and fellowship with nature. It's very refreshing. I enjoy the Center for Spiritual Living and Unity Churches lately! Check online for one near you. It's so different. It's full of open minded people like me. Hippie Folks.
You should check out your local United Church of Christ if you ever want a communal experience of Spirit in an accepting and affirming environment. ucc.org. look for a church that is ONA or Open and Affirming, this is our language for churches who have been through a study and dialogue process about accepting and affirming all people, including ALL people.
Great Video !! You could be speaking my words. Have you ever heard of the Metropolitan Community Churches? and If so .. how do feel about them? Because I feel the way you do .. we started attending one ( not reg. and haven't been there in almost a year ) but I still have some issues with Christianity itself, but at least this one issue is no longer an issue there. But yes I wish there was place called I AM LOVE !!! That would be great. This was a great video. Take Care , Wendy =D
@Tresisme1 Peace and Blessings on your journey. No, I attend "The Center for Spiritual Living." It's foundation is based on the teaching of Earnest Holmes. They are metaphysical and use the Bible. I can't say that I know everything about them as of yet, but I do embrace most of what I've read. What I really love is the service; it's simple and employs the use of all the sciences and the Word. Earnest Holmes has a Metaphysical explanation into the scripture; it's interesting.
Listening to your video, I'm reminded of a New Testament passage that seems to render moot the ban against homosexuality, for it says: "We are neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female - for we are all one in Christ Jesus." I read this as saying that the core of each person is spirit - not gender - so it doesn't matter whom we love.
There is a good book on the topic in this video written by University of Florida English professor "African American Atheists and Political Liberation: A Study of the Socio-Cultural Dynamics of Faith"...
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Understanding the love of Christ is what changes us. If you notice in the last verse I posted.
Yet not I, but Christ. By the verses what does love do?
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
I'm not against going to an organized group studying together on a Sunday morning or whenever they meet but is there a faithful Man teaching? So much of what goes on Sunday morning is the blind leading the blind.
So many think they are making brownie points with God sitting in a church building on Sunday morning. God is only happy with us because he's happy with his Son.
Ephesians 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
That's whether we are in a church building or not. We are told to study.
2 Timothy 2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
When God looks at us he sees those who believe and those who don’t. Not Catholics, Baptist, Pentecostals, Lutherans etc. Suggest you read Ephesians 1:17-23
The Lord Jesus Christ is the head of The Church and what is The Church?
Hello freedomgale and may God bless you. You made alot of interesting points in your video, but the one that caught my ear was where you qouted the most two important commandments of GOD, " love the Lord thy GOD with all thine heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love thy neighbour as thyself ." As a christian I see many people turned away from the church because they are judged as soon as they set foot in the house of the Lord, and its wrong. GOD hates no one, he just hates the sin we do.
@mysteryman605 Sometime, I just sit back and try to imagine God from all that I can comprehend in nature. In the changing of the seasons, the animals, and the universe. They speak to me of a Creator that is full of wisdom; it seems that there is positive and negative in all. Life gives and life takes away. There is a cycle and a simplicity in it all that we seem to complicate with our theories and dogmas. Imposing our beliefs upon others is a burden on the receiver as well as the imposer.
Joshiah says we agree to put up in place an electromagnetic type of energy that keeps us from tuning in to the other frequencies [realities] so we can feel the intense range of feelings and emotions that humans go through. I know my grandfather said that love just is. Love is not an emotion. All the others like anger, sadness, jealousy etc are human nonsense baggage. Joshiah mentions that when we find who and what we truly are we enter a realm of never ending love and possiblity.
There is so much about God and Love that we do not understand. But when we remain open we can learn more each day from each other; but when we are closed, believing we know the truth; we learn nothing more and enter the realm of judgment out of fear, condemning all else as wrong.
What does your heart speak to you about love? Do you emote; have you felt love's presence?" I cannot relate to Love not being an emotion. I can relate to it being more then just emotion.
@ freedomeGale. You don't have to relate to it the same way I do. In the end there is no right or wrong from where we create our reality. You can relate to it being more than just an emotion because you're higher self is telling you that it IS eternal. Emotions can come and go but love from thr realm of your higher self or who and what you truly is forever in the past future and present at the same "time" For this life is an illusion, a creation, we create to experiment in intense feelings
Bub Hill supposedly a mediator for the spiritual entities called "Joshiah" Says that you are the God you search for. He says that our reality is like a radio frequency wave that we are tuned into and eliminate all the rest of the other realities or "frequencies if you will. He says time and space are an illusion. He says even when we die we sometimes are still tuned into just this reality as a ghost instead of finding who and what we truly are. He says WE choose to create our reality together.
This is a very popular perspective these days. It would do us all well to peak outside the boxes of our conditioning and spoon fed beliefs to see what else there is to consider.
Every religion says they have the truth; and that their holy book is the only one that is correct. There is much to be gleaned by coming together and setting aside our differences and learning from each other or I should say from the "Spirit/Truth!"
What really bothers me is all these "super" christians who tell everyone else they're going to hell believe that Jesus's death saved us. Murder, sacrifices, death fixes or saves no one. Most of the bible is just stories especialy the first testament. It was all written by man. If people said god told them to write things down now they'd be locked in a padded room. Jesus DID exist but I think his teachings could be the salvation, NOT his death. Sacrifices are satanic and have no meaning.
23Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. 25Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:23-25
there is no god...think about it...does it make sence the there is some magical being the promises eternal life after death when we have no proof of "it" existing after all...i think all realigions are messed up...no offence to you of course keep waisting your time and all but if I where you i would give up the whole christianity tihng...its pretty gay...
Thank you for your comment. It is evident that we come from somewhere; and that Source is what I refer to when I speak of God. That's how that is Creative Force is most known.
I agree, very well stated. Of course I know some wonderful religious people, but they usually like me have more objective views then just inside the scope of one single belief system.
We all fall into a more simplistic BEing, when we mover from belief to knowing.
Life is just that about growth. We learn through our trials more then our good times. In the valleys transformation takes place, on the mountaintops we celebrate our victories.
There was a time in my "Christian" walk where all I heard myself and my Chrisitian brothers and sisters proclaiming in self-righteous tones, "I don't do this I don't do that." Finally, I asked doesn't God care about what we "do do" more then what we don't do?"
There is a preferred lifestyle that all religions and other organizations have. If you want to stay in good relationship with those organizations or leader, you will do them. It's about who's you are sometime, not who or what.
Very well said. I especially identify with having attempted to wear that polyester suit that just didn't fit in order to meet some society or family ideal. Same for me as far as being gay. There are however lots of gay christians from what I understand. And yes, they've had to make their own rules of course. Personally organized religion in general is subject to lots of heartbreak when people start getting involved in making the rules. Great video!
It is always an assumption that anything outside of a personal belief system is man made. Isaiah 45 says " I am the Lord, I created good and evil, light and darkness, I the Lord did all these things." If God caused Pharoah's heart to be hardened and them slew him for his hard heart, is it possible that he could also cause others heart to hardened as well. If so, what would be His purpose? God is Omnipresent meaning present in everything and everyone, but not all relationships with him are strong
"How can something man made be related to God?" Good question, the Ark was man made. The Sanctuary was man made. Man was fully created but could not run like a car without gas, until he received God's breath/Spirit.
Man is the Temple where the Spirit of God dwells and should never be belittled.
True Christianity is A Religion. Love is not a religion. Compassion and understanding, are not a religion.
True however after GOD breathed life into man and gave him dominion over the earth yet we defiled it as time went on prompting GOD to destroy all life except the man who built the Ark, and remember man also defiled the Sanctuary JESUS had to cleanse the Sanctuary in Mark 11:15-17, and has far as man being the Temple where GODS spirit dwells we defile it everyday with SIN JESUS said " you can't put new wine in old wine skins " in other words our temple must be cleansed with his blood.
Every church I have gone to was judgemental and had a severe hatred of women being in any leadership positions. With the exception of one. Yet they will take the money from the women households. It was so not feeling right in there to me. I felt so intimedated in that place. I hope to never have to experiene that situation again. Thanks for sharing....
Sounds like your problem is that from the minute you walked in the church your focus was on MANKIND and not GOD, honey the church is full of messed up people, thats why there in church...duhhh
I've been hearing that same tired view for years. But it's not sufficient. According to the Bible, Christ is going to separate the sheep from the goat when he comes with his Father. Transformation has to take place here and now. Rom. 12: 1-2 or else you will be hearing, "depart from me you workers of iniquity, I know you you not."
Maybe you've been hearing that view because its meant for you to hear, out of the mouth of 2 0r 3 wittneses let ever word be established, after all JESUS visted the temple and preached everywhere he went, are we better than him ?
No TJ, let me say with love...that It's just an excuse to stay sick. If I were in a hospital and never got better there is something wrong, I would leave.
I don't stick with what is not working. If Church is working for you, I am happy, stay there. This message is for those it isn't working for. We don't have to agree, but we should love eachother in spite of our difference. Do the loving, let God do the judging.
Well i'll say this and letave it alone, The Church is not made of brick and mortar but flesh and blood, i'll let you chew on that, and as far as judging goes if Christian don't preach about sin then we might as well raise up the white flag and surrender all to SATAN !
My spiritual dad Pastor Barry Holmes, had a outreach ministry called "Warriors for Christ " 90% of the members were homeless, drug addicts, prostitutes, he had a van and we went to the shelters, under bridges, in the woods, crack houses you name it ,we feed them clothed them loved them and boy did we have church,u see m'am pastor holmes is a former a drug dealer and addict i was homeless as a teen , know what its like to feel unloved so i tell you those people had no problem with Church.
Thanks for stopping in and leaving your dollar. When we mature and trust our own inner spirit, we let go of things that no longer work or no longer serve us.
It takes allot of courage to walk away from a religion you've been indoctrinated in your whole life. Many times you'll think you're sending yourself to hell. But your freeing yourself for Spirit to lead and guide you into the truth and the path meant for you.
Perhaps you can find a minute to share your reasons soon.
Truth the spirit of all faith, rest in the heart, spirit and soul of each*one, and therefore requires no dwelling of brick, stone nor wood to flourish within the love held and offered to the heights and depths of the bodies temple...
here here amen and all that jazz.. people are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO holier than thou and it sux and it's wack and it's lame and it makes people SICK namely me.. I no longer attend church for a few reasons... but yeah.. go head!
Well JESUS went to church and hung out with all those wack people, probably changed some of there views, such as Nicodemus and Joesph of Aramatheia both Pharasies, maybe theres someone there waiting for YOU to touch there lives, but the devil doesn't want that so he talks you into staying home, as for me when i go to church my focus is on GODS word not what MAN is doing.
Jesus also went to bars and hung out with a prostitute my friend. I am not one to argue so I'll rest with this.
I am fulfilling my calling helping broken people. There are many roads to get to one place. Not just your way, the muslim way, the jehovah witness way, or the morman way etc.
See my myspace page and see how god is using me. Just google vivian gale.
Peace and Blessings and I'll see you on the other side my brother.
well I am not JESUS :)... and I touch peoples lives in other ways, the "devil" doesn't "talk" me into staying home.. I allow my self to worship and be spiritual in other ways, as well as speaking to and touching peoples lives in other ways.. I don't have to sit in church to be spiritual or proactive in spirituality. I can hear read and learn gods word without a MAN speaking them to me. Thanks :)
and that's what ya'll all say.. you're only right.. what you do is only acceptable.. people who go to church and perpetrate are only acceptable... and that why I do what I do for me... why be subjected to criticism ridicule and non-sense by another man as evil as he thinks I am. there is but one god and HE IS THE ONLY one that can judge me.. and until HE does anything that ANYONE else says is pointless :))
Like so many your under the asumption that judgement day will be our trial, not so, judgement day will be SENTECING ! our life is our trial ,why do you think it reads in 1 john 2:1 " we have an ADVOCATE with the FATHER in JESUS CHRIST " an advocate is a lawyer honey..........we only get one chance to get it right and this it......Hosea was right people are indeed destroyed for a lake of knowledge.

These folks on this post are crazy. You can't go to what you are we are the church and going to a building will not make you any more than a Christian anymore than standing in your Garage will make you are car.

@Blazeman1 Crazy or confused? I remember the first time I hear that I was like wow, that is so true.
FreedomGale 1 month ago
@Blazeman1 True! Going to a building will not make you a Christian, but that is true of many things that we do, as Christians. Jesus is not looking for invisible Christians, that don't see a need to promote their faith. Jesus is looking for Christians that will be willing to come together and function as the Body of Christ, with Jesus as the head of that spiritual body! I admit that today's visible church is in bad shape, for the most part..

@Pastorbillanddesi Very Easy..I do what the bible says I have fellowship Just because I don't go to a building does not mean I do not fellowship and that is a part of the problem. Its with our understand of the word. The Church grows not because of what I do but what Chirst did he adds to the church daily.
Blazeman1 1 month ago

Desi

@Pastorbillanddesi Why do you refer to the Supreme All ( God as you know the spirit ) as a Man? i.e. Father
HandsomeSoulbrother1 5 days ago

HandsomeSoulbrother1 5 days ago

HandsomeSoulbrother1 5 days ago
@HandsomeSoulbrother1 The Bible refers to God as a He,and the Bible has no conflict with God being a He and a Spirit at the same time. So,neither do I. Jesus called God a He,also.
Pastorbillanddesi 5 days ago
@Pastorbillanddesi In my opinion "limiting" the Supreme All ( God as you understand the spirit ) as a "HE-HIM" is a insecure complex that displays male superiority views by those that wrote the bible because they believe in male domination and superiority over the Female. Case in point > The Angels, HaSatan and the Demons are also said to be Men-Male-Him-He. This also in my opinion seems to be a perverted concept. Can you factually prove that Jesus existed Historically > Outside of the bible?
HandsomeSoulbrother1 5 days ago 2
@HandsomeSoulbrother1 I cannot prove that Jesus existed outside of the Bible. I cannot prove that other historical figures existed, either. Jesus has been mentioned by historians of that time, I am told! Josephus is one of the historians that wrote about Jesus and his disciples. You are welcome to PM us. Have a good day! Desi

FreedomGale 1 month ago
Pastorbillanddesi 1 month ago
@Pastorbillanddesi Yeah, well my friend; we all fall short and that's my biggest contention. The Bible also says "there is none that doeth good." There are many text that put us in bondage and one's that bring us out. If you live according to the law you will be judged by it. I choose not to do that because I could never win. None of us can, that's why Jesus came it's said right? Let's take the suggestions in the Bible from a holistic perspective or objective perspective and not so literally.

ramonkey0807. Jesus redeemed the whole world with His blood. All men are redeemed. He purchased us all with His blood. We have all been reconciled to God by that blood and because of that blood God is not counting our sins against us. You obviously don't believe this. Your beliefs are built on the doctrines of men not on the gospel of grace and peace.
tbone6735 8 months ago
read 2Corinthians 5:19 "God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself and He is not counting our sins against us"
tbone6735 8 months ago
Now we do have to be honest however. A homosexual does need to hear the Gospel too. If it is the true gospel however it would turn them away from that lifestyle. You cant remain in the church claiming you love God if you live a sinful lifestyle. The church is supposed to change sinners not give them a safehaven.
ramonkey0807 9 months ago
@ramonkey0807 I have a chapter in my book on "Can gays be Christians." The Bible says the act is an abomination to God. So, by their own belief in the Bible they are condemned from Christianity it seems. However, we are under Grace if your a believer you should know that Gods grace through Christ covers all our sins. Because we could not keep the law and do what is "right and good," Christ was sent to cover our sins. I'm amazed that it's not in the ten commandments. Hummm
FreedomGale 9 months ago
@FreedomGale Jesus died so we could be free from sin..not give us a license to sin.
G0DSM3TALC0RE 7 months ago
@ramonkey0807 the church can't change sinners. Jesus changed sinners at the cross by dying for them and taking the punishment for their sin. By one man's disobedience all were made sinners and by one man's obedience ALL WILL BE MADE RIGHTEOUS. The church presents Jesus as a catastrophic failure by preaching that He came to save the world when in actuality He really ends up saving very little of the world. The only question is did He succeed or did He fail? You obviously believe He failed.
tbone6735 8 months ago

The truth must be told!
ramonkey0807 9 months ago
@ramonkey0807 The scriptures tell us that everybody falls short of the glory of God. That is why Jesus died for the sin of the whole world. Jesus redeemed all of mankind at the cross. God is not counting people sins against them. read 2 Corinthians 5:19.
tbone6735 8 months ago
@ramonkey0807 I totally agree, but on that same token, we are called to "love our neighbor as ourselves". That means, we are to still love homosexuals regardless of wheter they choose to change or not. It's NOT our job to try and change people; that is only for God. Our duty as believers is to point them to the truth, and the rest is up to them. We should never stop loving them just simply because they refuse to change. But we shouldn't shove it down their throats; doing more harm than good.

SODOMITES HAVE NO PLACE IN THE CHURCH YOU ARE AN ABOMINATION!
ramonkey0807 9 months ago
@ramonkey0807 You are ignorant! If you really have god's love and want people to have a relationship with him(as you are commanded by god) the church is the perfect place for homosexuals. Do you not remember Christs example? He was in the streets with the sinners and showed his father love if he wasn't to good for the rest of us what makes you think that you are above his examples and teaching I suggest you read your bible again and think about who you and your actions are reflecting
thepainter3586 9 months ago

GranFury440 2 years ago
@GranFury440
FreedomGale 2 years ago
@ freedomeGale. You don't have to relate to it the same way I do. In the end there is no right or wrong from where we create our reality. You can relate to it being more than just an emotion because you're higher self is telling you that it IS eternal. Emotions can come and go but love from thr realm of your higher self or who and what you truly is forever in the past future and present at the same "time" For this life is an illusion, a creation, we create to experiment in intense feelings
GranFury440 2 years ago
Beautifully expressed~thank you.
FreedomGale 2 years ago
Bub Hill supposedly a mediator for the spiritual entities called "Joshiah" Says that you are the God you search for. He says that our reality is like a radio frequency wave that we are tuned into and eliminate all the rest of the other realities or "frequencies if you will. He says time and space are an illusion. He says even when we die we sometimes are still tuned into just this reality as a ghost instead of finding who and what we truly are. He says WE choose to create our reality together.
GranFury440 2 years ago

So many regulations and guidelines, that it doesn't allow you to fully express yourself as a human being.
Religion for the most part has an adverse affect on individuals and increase some negative behavior.

Personally organized religion in general is subject to lots of heartbreak when people start getting involved in making the rules. Great video!

Gay CHRISTIANS? What fellowship can light have with darkness ? and true CHRISTIANITY is not RELIGION, how can something man made be realated to GOD,
TjmMinistries 2 years ago
It is always an assumption that anything outside of a personal belief system is man made. Isaiah 45 says " I am the Lord, I created good and evil, light and darkness, I the Lord did all these things." If God caused Pharoah's heart to be hardened and them slew him for his hard heart, is it possible that he could also cause others heart to hardened as well. If so, what would be His purpose? God is Omnipresent meaning present in everything and everyone, but not all relationships with him are strong
FreedomGale 2 years ago
With all do respect i beg to differ, how can GOD be in eveyone when he granted us all " free will " and many reject him.
TjmMinistries 2 years ago
"How can something man made be related to God?" Good question, the Ark was man made. The Sanctuary was man made. Man was fully created but could not run like a car without gas, until he received God's breath/Spirit.
Man is the Temple where the Spirit of God dwells and should never be belittled.
True Christianity is A Religion. Love is not a religion. Compassion and understanding, are not a religion.
FreedomGale 2 years ago
True however after GOD breathed life into man and gave him dominion over the earth yet we defiled it as time went on prompting GOD to destroy all life except the man who built the Ark, and remember man also defiled the Sanctuary JESUS had to cleanse the Sanctuary in Mark 11:15-17, and has far as man being the Temple where GODS spirit dwells we defile it everyday with SIN JESUS said " you can't put new wine in old wine skins " in other words our temple must be cleansed with his blood.

FreedomGale 2 years ago

Christ didn't tell us to preach about sin. He told us to God with all our heart mind and soul and to love one another.

Thanks :)

Thats what they all say.

and that's what ya'll all say.. you're only right.. what you do is only acceptable.. people who go to church and perpetrate are only acceptable... and that why I do what I do for me... why be subjected to criticism ridicule and non-sense by another man as evil as he thinks I am. there is but one god and HE IS THE ONLY one that can judge me.. and until HE does anything that ANYONE else says is pointless :))
