  • For all the people saying oh just get a blower: you kinda need motor work or at the bare minimum full bolt ons with heads/cams/intake before you slap one on anyway unless you plan on ruining the motor or running some bullshit boost like 1-3 lbs. Cams he has may not be good with a blower, but the heads/bolt ons he has are going to make that blower that he will undoubtedly get 100 times better 8) from 12.5 to low low 11's high 10's.

  • Yeah throw a turbo on that thing....not. with all the mods that are on it now that about all the block and rotateing assembly is good for. Gonna have to spend another 3k just to get it turbo ready. But after you would have one sick nasty car!! sounds good

  • I typically don't like the sound of Flowmasters at all, but that sounds really good. Can't wait to get the Hi-Tech Stage 2's for my '04.

    I've got the same setup except for stock cams. But I've got a forged block and internals with mine with full intake and exhaust, stage II patriots, sct programmer by Gearheads but stock cams. And I only threw down 257rwhp on the dyno after tune, so I want some comp stage 2 cams to open up that restricted power.

  • Stop wasting money going n/a on the 2v.. Get a blower. Cams sound awesome but if you want some hp blower is the way to go.

  • @wmrcer wht about a medium cam and a big turbo... best of both worlds

  • @joshjow Throw a turbo on it, if you're fully forged you can get CAMs and they will wake that bad boy up but nothing compares to a turbo. Single big turbo and you're done. You'll be running 500-600whp with just that upgrade. Good luck.

  • i just got the same cams put in my stang and i was wondering if you used a flash programmer or if you went and got it tuned? Any help is appreciated

  • Mike @ Dez Racing did the tuning with a SCT flip chip (nitrous and N/A)

  • @mikefigs1 get it tuned, the car won't run to it's potential if you don't....and it's just foolish not to get it tuned

  • Comp Cams will set you back around 600 bucks not including install..i have a similar setup to this dude but mine are stage II cams great for boosted and sprayed applications 2 thumbs up..

  • how's the set of the Patriot Performance Cylinder heads? i've heard bad things about them from a couple of mustang forums. how long did have them on or still have them on?

  • So far, so good. I've had the Patriot heads for 6 months now with absolutely no problems. The castings themselves are Ford OEM quality...Patriot just does the CNC porting work and upgrades the springs, retainers, seals, etc.

  • those are the n/a numbers. I built the motor for a nitrous application. I just haven't had it on the dyno with the sauce yet.

  • @alljackedup408308rw is like 350hp at the crank probably more. And now it will respond much better to forced induction or nitrous.
