Okay. Firstly, I thought they cancelled this movie after "Speed Racer" flopped becasue it was going to have the same family friendly feel that movie did and they discovered there's not a market and secondly what is all this about accents. Captain Marvel wouldn't have such an accent and there is no version of Black Adam I've ever seen written as if he had an accent. In fact, I recall an early apperance where he spoke ancient Egptian but his powers allowed him to learn English in a second.

If you really want a super literal translation of characters, then some of the examples you just mentioned would be all wrong. For example, Hugh Jackman is 6'2, but in the comics Wolverine is only 5'3. No one would take a 5'3 live action Wolverine seriously. It would look stupid. As would body builders in spandex.
