I lived in Australia for about 26 yrs & I didn't know there was a second verse of the national anthem till now.

when ever i hear the anthem being played i start to sing it like this. i can't help it thats just the way it comes to me.

this is done so well that it sounds like it just fits, this is the way the anthem should be!!!

I love this. I toured Australia with Spicks and Specks and went to 43 live shows. Adam dedicated the Anthem to me. iT WAS SO GREAT

And Adam calls me his stalker!! I've only seen him solo three times, once with Adam Rozenbachs, and a Spicks and Specks taping. I might also be on his new dvd if the night i was there is used.

I can't listen to either with out changing the tune or the words... hadn't heard the actual anthem in ages... then I watched the olympics, and we won... the anthem comes on... and I'm like... "Wait, this isn't our anthem... they've messed the music up..." my whole class just looked at me...

I agree the lyrics are fine, its the tune people don't like. You hear the Russian, French or American anthems they have grand music. Keep the lyrics but make the music better.
