Anyway this movie had a real stereotypical plot, but in the 1970's even the worse movies got made. This movie was remarkable for one reason - gorgeous Lonette McKee (Sista).

Don't lie, everybody fell in love with her beauty. She was stunning, and as a child, I was mad every time she left the screen. Plus her voice had character and soul. She was amazing!

You know this tragic mullato thing seems real. Mariah Carey is an example of someone who seems deeply saddened to be caught in the middle and yet somehow outside both groups, and she's super famous. To me, it seems like mullatos are often so attractive, they get pulled in all sorts of good and bad directions. Yet, in our racist USA, mullato seems better than being just plain Black. I mean Hollywood sure likes them (eg. Irene Cara, Halle Berry, Lena Horne). The real tragedy is racism period!
