  • Oh my gosh, that horse at 1:49 looks like my Navajo Rebel when I first found him, but Rebel looked even worse.

    It was fun to watch him gain weight and watch his coat change from a rough yellow straw to a shiny silky copper with bright white spots.

  • I'm autistic (Asperger's), and horses helped me a lot as a child. The horse I adopted, who had been neglected and abused, helped me to break through my shyness and communication difficulties as I worked to restore his health and trust. He and I rescued each other.
