Instead of BET showing shows and movies that represent the other side of black people, they'd rather show the negative stereotypical side. There are so many films about black life that are positive that have never been seen by African American Children..Roots for example a movie that black parents could sit down and discus with their children should be shown on BET. If this channel is a representation of blacks then they need to do it in a positive and educational way

In my opinion, BET is no more than a station that stereotypes their own people. Their portrayal and shows depict blacks in the worse way, moreso than their white counterparts. The only reason why Beyonce is more successful is because she came out before J-Hud. Beyonce has the "it factor" that J-Hud doesn't. Honestly, I think Beyonce's 1st album shits on her 2nd and 3rd album. I want the old Beyonce back. From "Mr, Myself, and I" to "Diva"? I think that the only reason why J-Hud's album flopped was because of her tragedy and her not being able to promote it.
