My old Houston band, ratbastard, opened for Flat Duo Jets back in 1997. A guy I worked with had a copy of Safari, and I have loved this man ever since!

Caught Dex and Sara in Houston in both 2009 and 2010, and to say they are great folks both onstage and off is an understatement.

There nothing in this world more pure and honest than the sounds that Sara and Dex make... I wish the rest of the planet would wake up and make them rich!!!

Ruins of Berlin is probably the best album I own. Dex is an enormously underrated singer and performer(and guitarist for that matter!), and he has a knack for getting excellent drummers to accompany him(something I am bitterly jealous of). What Sara does on "Grey Skies" is immense.
