Why?

Because it's basically a model of the oasys but less costly and it also has a great realistic feel to it. Out of all the synths ouut there I believe that yamaha make the worst feeling keys aswell despite being the only company that actually make real pianos. I'd check it out on there website and also ask someone in a local shop who you can trust and wont just try to sell you the instrument and will actually help you with your dilemma.

most likely with a footswitch. that's pretty much the only way to keep it free of the little breaks when switching. many of the better keyboards allow you putting all your sounds into a chain and than stepping through.
