• Kamen Rider Den-O's Super Climax Rider Kick was inspired by DaiRaiOh's Jinrai.

  • Can't wait to see this beast in SRW OGs 2!

  • Fancy swords or guns or just plain good old martian arts

time and time again just proves giant robots KICK ASS

  • @wiessritter Quite literally. :)

  • I don't know what the fuck is going on... but I like it!

  • For Touma, the "kick" part of kickass is srs business.

  • 1:35 Rider Kick!

    2:08 Clock Up! Rider Kick~

2:58 Change Hyper Beetle! Hyper Clock Up! Maximum Rider Power, Hyper (Rider) Kick!

  • LET'S GO, RIDER KICK!

  • Raioh is going to be in 2nd Super Robot Wars Original Generation!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I can't wait till they show us the forth and final DGG.

  • @VashxShanks Even if unofficially: It's the SRX Banpreios.

  • @Tsukasamacleod hmm I don't think so...Banpreios is upgraded from the normal SRX...If it's considered a new mecha by it self then might as say the Raioh and DaiRaiOh are also two different mechas.

  • @VashxShanks DaiRaiOh is the Forth the third is unknown

  • @DarkShurouga

The third is aperently bult to destroy the first two make of that what you will.

  • @TeamTowers1 Jinrai is the third DGG and later on it becomes RaiOh

  • @DarkShurouga

Was this ever said annywere the only evidence of that I can see is that it looks a bit like RaiOh

  • @DarkShurouga

    Er....No?

It was confirmed in the 2nd OG scans that they were seperate units.

  • @DarkShurouga jinrai now is the third n an onboard programmed AI controls it to destroy the first 2 DGG, Dygenguar and Aussensetier. No idea why

  • @ganaz30 Isn't Jinrai DGG-XAM3C DaiRaiOh's (DyLioh's) ace attack? In SRW OG 2 or 3, DGG-XAM3 is RaiOh (Lioh) then upon being damaged to a certain degree it upgrades to DGG-XAM3C DaiRaiOh (DyLioh). Touma's DGG unit was never meant or ever used to destroy the first two DGG units and even if it meant to, Daizengar (DyGenGuard) would have the range advantage and Aussenseiter is just as fast or faster than Raioh (Lioh). Why would any DGG unit be programmed to destroy the other DGG units?

  • DixNeuw's twin bro came to kick some asses

  • 2:00 Is that the Ganda Rowa in the backround?

  • how did this game not be on gameboy? it could have been

  • You don't need guns or swords....just your feet.

  • If a Kamen Rider and a Sentai Mecha had a baby, this is what the result would be.

    Pure badass.

  • I favor this unit even more than DaiGengar, but I still favor all of the OG's mechanic. ^_^

  • I want you all to take this in, as bad-ass as all those attacks were...the day they make OGS3 (Assuming DaiRaiOh is included to the roster), they'll become even more bad-ass!

  • @HeirOfSparda As much as I can say, just like Genesic GGG both units carry insanely (almost infinite) high attack power and defense. With units that have that much destructive power, why evade the attack if your armor and defense can reduce all damage to nearly 0. Jinrai is completely badass, how are you ever supposed to survive that kind of attack? Just like Genesic, those who challenge DaiRaiOh will really regret fighting it because they can't even survive any attacks from them.

  • All hail the holy scarfness, DaiRaiOh.

  • Question: Does each route deny you from getting the other playable char's mechs. Meaning No Kushua and Shin Ryukooh in Toma's Route?

  • DaiRaiOh or Shin RyuKouOh?

  • All you need is a melee finisher, and epic voice, and a scarf to be badass.

  • Badass delivery boy... DGG style ;)

  • the last attack is so....AWSOME!!!!!!

  • Sure Dis Astranagant may be more powerfull

But Cobray ain't hotblooded as Touma

  • Summary:

Shoe Bomber (this is why you need to pick an appropriate size)

Lazy-Sack-of-Crap Kick (there's no way I'm going to believe that you couldn't have just walked over there)

    Politically Incorrect Attack (FOR ALLAH!!!!!!*)

Explody Kick (think about it. he did that with just one kick.)

Lazy Eyed Phoenix Storm (they say the patch helps you recover)

  • Even in the end of TTGL the lagann itself that kills the anti-spiral leader (In tv series).

So normal o small sized mech alsohas awesome and manliest power.

  • @IndoneVoid

The main point of that whole thing is that the robots are just tools. It's the pilot, and his burning willpower to succeed against impossible odds and unstoppable enemies, that really wins the day.

Kamina said it best: "The drill is your soul!"

  • @haineko1101

ha ha yeah. "Your Drill is the drill that will pierce heaven !!!"

  • the TTGL is just more popular, that`s all.

TTGL is a tribute anime to all those great mecha / super mecha / hotblooded animes that we love, but fanboys think that TTGL is unique, i accept, see a super mecha consuming the whole universe with his drill is a great thing to see (the Super TTGL does that at the super giga drill break) , and even, the speech of never ending hotblooded power of will that take the shit out of reason and probability are just great... But arguing who is better?

  • why does everyone defend and is in love Gurren Legann because im pretty sure it isn't the first super robot and it is hardly the best.

  • If there was a Kamen Ridre DaiRaiOh the series would end in one episode

  • BARNING THANDER DAIRAIOH

  • The last one is the best, i wana kick people like that who make me mad!! :D

  • Aw man! I can't believe this! A Super Robo (Rider) Kick? MADE OF COMPLETE BADASSERY!

  • Jinrai is the grandaddy of all rider kicks

  • @Samuraiedge2 Lolz! I could imagine Kamen Rider Kuuga being the user of this and this would mean epic doomsday Rider Kick!

  • 4:03 That's one HELL of a finale.

  • Which is why it's part of the Dynamic Generals.

  • Could you imagine being a enemy grunt and watching this shit go down?

  • All I can say is the Balmar army needs to supply extra brown pants.

  • Jirai-Most epic Phoenix Attack I've ever seen

  • Comment removed

  • DaiRaiOh, proving time and time again that you don't need fancy guns or swords to kick everythings ass.

  • @TwistedAlly you just need a manly super robot mustache (i think he has one from the face pic at the begining).

  • Yeah,SRW's Kamen Rider. .

    Kick major ass

  • SRW's Showa Rider, better not give us one of them Heisei Riders.

  • Men. This robot really KICK (ass)

  • Cho Hissatsu (超必殺)

"Cho" simply means "Super" and is something of an embellishment to a name ("this isn't any ordinary move, it's a SUPER move!" and what-not)

Hissatsu means "Sure Kill," though it's more of a term to call a finishing move than anything else.

  • yea i know that i just didng expect him to say it latooni copyed ryusei so i was kinda surprised for him to say it

  • Chou Hissatsu. It means "Great Killing Strike!" Or variants thereof.

  • a bit overdo i comment.

why need Chou hissatsu, when hissatsu is already sure kill? or is it aint 100% sure it will kill?

still...G.GGG is my fav supertype robot.

  • Chou Hissatsu is a dynamic, awesome way of saying "FOR SURE, I'LL KILL YOU, IN THE MOST EPIC WAY POSSIBLE!"

  • =__=

still looking forward for TTGL's debut in SRWs.....

  • Dude ya need to learn more Japanese...

In this dialogue, Chou means Sure/Definite while Hissatsu means Killing Move... Combining both means Sure Killing Move or Ultimate Killing Move...

  • @FallenWings63

yes watever, a Lagann Impact will SURELY impale dairaioh.

  • Simon and Kamina are SPIRALOMG

Touma is relatively normal compared to them and has much as spirit and will

so yeah he kick ass with his soul alone by PUNCHING YOUR FACE OUT! and kicking it too or becoming a giant phoenix

  • @aeomasaki

    Size doesn't change anything.

This was proved time and time again when normal sized units took out the Kaiser Ephates/Stern Neu Reggeusier/Septaugint/every srw final boss.

The Gurren Lagann anime died about 1/3 though anyway.

    Simon's method: I'm loosing? I NEED A BIGGER ROBOT!

The proper method: FIGHTING SPIRIT OVERCOMES ALL ODDS!

Maybe if they didn't kill the most appealing character then this would be pretty even match.

  • @BlanixTheBlood

Fighting spirit IS a bigger robot.

    derp.

Is TTGL the best series ever? Personally I liked GGG best, but TTGL is one of the best for sure. Because it made the fighting spirit logic VISUAL. And made a lot of jabs at the history of mecha.

  • @ZeranEmpire

If you put it that way, then that makes TTGL a parody of other mech anime.

In which case, yea it was pretty good then.

  • @BlanixTheBlood

    AFFECTIONATE parody.

And a good story in its own right.

  • @ZeranEmpire

    Haha I like you.

  • @BlanixTheBlood

You want complexity, the real mecha section is that way. TTGL took super mecha to a mathematical level, distilling the key factors to their base components. My preference for GGG is due entirely to a man I'm convinced could beat the entire TTGL verse on his own simply through his aura of awesome.

No not Gai, though he's cool too. Soldat J for the win.

  • @ZeranEmpire

    Nice assumption.

What do you mean putting supers into the base components? Is spiral energy the route of all supers power? More accurately, emotion is the route of power in ALL anime. Even in reals that factor is still fully in effect.

The thing I had a problem with is TTGL was like the artist wanted to do three different anime but ended up squishing it into one.

First it was like any classic super, then it was evangelion, then is was like aquarion. Inconsistency ruined it for me.

  • @BlanixTheBlood

    Macross maybe. Other reals...? meh.

And it was the moving through mecha styles as the series went that made it interesting for me. It was SUPPOSED to be a look back through the ages of mecha and the story styles of the times. Consistency is boring. Especially in a series who's theme is evolve.

  • @ZeranEmpire

Yes in all reals. Its the key element that causes the pilot of get pissed and have his pwnass moment.

Wrong amount of inconsistency. Plot development is indeed important to keep things interesting, however the way you go about it is also important.

I hate shows that change genres midway through.

Its like I'm not watching the same characters that I enjoyed watching before.

That all aside. The real problem is the die hard fans. It kills the show for others.

    Like me.

  • @BlanixTheBlood

I didn't see a mid-season genre change in TTGL. Just because the most charismatic character kicks the bucket doesn't mean the whole show is over.

The thing to remember is, TTGL is all about the over-the-top absurdity. It revels in it, despite reasonably excusing it. It's an homage-slash-affectionate parody of the entire Super Robot genre, including both animation tricks and story elements. (Hint: Spiral Power = Getter Rays)

To hell with the hype. Don't let that kill it for you.

  • @haineko1101

Luckily I finished the whole series before the fan base found out about it.

But listening to them give worship to it as the best mecha irks me.

  • @BlanixTheBlood I'm with you on that one. It's also relieving not to have to wade through oceans of drool when braving into a discussion about the series.

I liked TTGL, but there are mecha anime I liked better.

  • @haineko1101

same. GGG. but I am not about to stand by and let a successful experiment and homage to the entire history of mecha be insulted in any way.

and so what if the fans are rabid? gets more people into mecha. Woot.

  • @ZeranEmpire

Dude, GUNDAM had the Emotion Equals Power angle. Newtypes, remember? Their existence pretty much defines the Universal Century series. This goes double for everything from Zeta onwards to Char's Counterattack.

Gundam is the defining series of the Real Robot genre, so I'd say it's plenty well established.

  • @haineko1101

I havent seen many gundam shows. Nor do I really care to ever catch up. Macross has demonstrated its superiority every time I bothered. With the exception of 08th MS team. Which was made of amazing.

  • @ZeranEmpire

08th MS Team is pretty much a high point in quality for the series, yes. 0080: War In The Pocket was good as well. Skip 0083: Stardust Memory; it was pretty much crap.

Macross is awesome, though. I need to go back and watch it again, after I finish re-watching Tekkaman Blade.

  • It's official. Anyone who has a DGG is a gigantic badass.

  • @payasofobia amen

  • @payasofobia amen to that.

  • @payasofobia

I'd agree with you if this guy didn't sound like he has a clamp around his penis.

  • DaiRaiOh literally kicks ass!

  • I would like to see Dairaioh moves while listening to the song: "Alas de Fuego" (Fire wings) by the band "Tierra Santa".

    Yes, is a challenge.

  • @magnus9284 nah the song is unfitting, his original BGM and GONG would make him more kickass

  • Here's an idea DGG-4 will be an enemy mech and it will combine the elements of the previous dynamic guardian generals into one. In other words (the sword using, the gunslinging, and the kicking all into one unit). It will be a boss character and it will have probably meant to have been a tight end for the other DGGs on the battlefield

  • Wasn't DGG-04 dissassembled to repair Compatible Kaiser?

  • No way, man. DGG-4 will be a motorbike for DaiRaiOh, just like Elzam does for Sanger.

  • Irui will pilot it.

  • From what you just said I'm imagining DGG-4 looking like that Power Ranger Megazords that transforms into a motorcycle. I also see Dygenguard, Aussienttier, and Dairaioh riding it pulling off insane combination attacks.

  • I wonder what his attacks would look like in the OG versions. Imagine what it would look like in a remade version. My mind was almost fried the first time I laid eyes on this move, god only knows what a remade version would do.

  • My God, the last attack of the DaRaiOh is completly Overkill.............with no mercy!!!

  • wa ~~ show mercy

  • Nice vid!! :P

  • I've come to the conclusion that DGG Type 4 will probably deal with punching attacks. Dygenguar focused on sword combat, Aussenseiter focused on guns, and DaiRaiOh focused on kicks.

Of course, I'm probably wrong, but it's fun to dream.

  • Sounds logical to me.

  • That's true. But it can be a knight too.

  • If it focuses on punchs, we might have what happens when God Gundam gets very, very angry.

  • Why? We've had dozens of Super Robots that used swords or guns before with no problems. And Domon already has competition with Ryuzaki.

  • Perhaps, but we have the Apotheosized Ialdabaoth for the punching, alongside the Valefor and the Agares. If anything, as a parallel to Kamen Rider, the DGG-4 will be a machine that can transform into the DaiRaiOh's motorcycle.

  • Laldabaoth doesn't focus on punching

  • What do you call it when you combine Akashic Buster and a Rider Kick?

    I'll call it... Jinrai!

  • I'm not familiar with Diebuster, but I just watched some vids of it, and it is amazing!

  • EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    100/100

  • anyone know what stage you get the dairaioh?

  • stage 36

  • That final attack was just...

    just...

    DAAAAAYUUUM!

  • So I'm trying to put together a theoretical list of English voice actors for these characters. I'm thinking Crispin Freeman absolutely HAS to be either Sanger or Ratsel (probably Sanger, since Ratsel could still work with other VAs but nobody's as manly as Crispin), but does anyone have any suggestions for Toma or others? I'm thinking Jhonny Yong Bosch has the right voice for the job, especially in light of his work as Ichigo on Bleach... But where would we fit Michael McConnohie?

  • I think Michael McConnohie would actually make a good Baron Doban.

As for Ratsel, definitely Kirk Thornton.

  • Hold on, I think you've got it backwards. I've just found out who Baran Doban is, and he is DEFINITELY Kirk Thornton material. Michael McConnohie's good with a deeper sort of blowhard, but Kirk Thornton can combine blowhard with old man-style screeching. Never have heard him yell hotbloodedly, though...

  • this is ratsel as weather man

today we will have sunyday but for the badguys there one 100% of the sundely storms and sunsets followed by gigantic zankantous and flaming robots kicking everything in sight

  • And for the rest of the week...

    Trombe.

  • Trombe would be the best tornado warning siren EVER.

  • I'm just waiting to see this bad mother finally appear in an OG...just like everyone else.

Considering the MASSIVE upgrades in awesomeness everyone else's attacks have been getting, Jinrai might very well be upgraded to the point where it might be the single most awesome looking attack in the history of video games...it's already WAY up there.

  • For the good guys anyway!

Dark Brain still gets the award for "WTFOMGBBQ OVER-THE-TOP-FINAL-ATTACK"

...Nothing like ending a universe to kill a single mech...

  • Only to do 10 damage to it or miss, LOL.

  • Mech=Awesome

Character= Eh he's ok was hoping he looked somewhat like Tasuku

  • how can he be like Tasuku if he supposed to be a hot-blood type like Zengar

  • He reminded me of Kazuma from S-Cry-Ed when I first saw him honestly. I was like whoa, Kazuma? Luckily I never posted that.

  • Holy -crap-.

    Don't screw with this guy.

  • He'll kick you till next Sunday.

  • I don't know whats best about DaiRaiOh

Is it the Eyepacth, the scarves or the 40 Second Dynamic Kill Animation for Jinrai?

  • I know. All of the above.

  • great king of lightning Danraioh

    the great tornado Daitrombe

  • DaiRaiOh DaiZenGard DaiTroBe

Their Called The Warriors Of DAI

    See Their Similar Names?

    All 3 Pwns Differently

  • Well Dai means Big/Great in Japanese, so they don't have the "Dai" in their name for nothing.

  • not only that... their model numbers are related too; DGG-XAM1 - Dygenguard, DGG-XAM2 - Aussenseiter, DGG-XAM3 - RaiOh/DGG-XAM3C - DaiRaiOh... There all under the Dynamic General Guardian series... ^^

  • and isn't Compactibility kaiser made from the fusion of the DGG-XAM4 and Fighter Roa's old mech ?

  • The "Dai" in their names is actually "Dy". For that matter, the Zen, Gar, Rai, and Oh are technically something else as well. Daizengar is actually Dygenguar (Dygenguard in the NA localization), which is short for Dynamic General Guardian, and Dairaioh is Dylio (Dyligho?), which stands for Dynamic Lightning Over. Daitrombe is just a joke Ratsel made based on the fact that Dygenguar is spelled with the same characters as Sanger's name, with its real name being Ausenseiter.

  • Of course, the names were all made intentionally so their characters would turn out to be DaiZenGar and DaiRaiOh. Actually, the latter one loses something in its translation... The original Raioh's name was Lioh, named after the LIOH system it used. However, it loses the H when it becomes Dylio, despite keeping the same Japanese characters.

  • man imagine if one of the kamen rider kicks were like that i mean like woah!!

  • Holy crap... DaiRaiOh pwns to the max!

(still not as good as Daizengar though)

  • Now that is an original mech!

  • where can i download dairaioh soundtracks

  • More like "Where can I download the Super Robot Wars Alpha 3 soundtrack?"

    His theme is Shippu Jinrai.

  • Another OUTSTANDING mech from this game

    An outstanding Kamen Rider tribute

    AMAZING!!!!

    5/5

  • I got to Chapter 6, but, I havent played much further

  • I wish I could speak/read Japanese

  • See this is why i picked Touma for my first play through, DaiRaiOH!

  • i wanted him , but i changed to kusuha because there were faqs about her and i don t know japanese

  • Wat system is it for?

  • PS2, but its only in Japan. The only way to get it is to import it.

  • Let's see. suppose banpresto hasn't gone completely retard (like Square-enix imo) and translate their OG series (both the anime and ps2 game) how fast do you think they'll sell? I estimate the entire ps2 owning humans in a day :P cause these series ROCK!!!!

  • whats the system for the game?

  • ps2

  • Not merely a rider kick... A Rider Kick, Hayakawa Ken-style. ('cause, y'know, _everyone_ and _everything_ is second place to him...)

  • RIDER KICK!

  • They really live up to their name...DYNAMIC...

  • anybody know the attack that aussenseiter, daizenger and dairaioh joins together and attack the enemy? i don't know, i just heard it from my friends, can you find the video?

  • There's no triple...at least not yet. Maybe if they get around to doing an OG3 and we see the 4th Dynamic Guardian General, then we'll see one with all of them.

  • ROCKSROCKSROCKSROCKSROCKS!

  • Hmm... Try having a look at Aya Shameimaru's own Jinrai and compare it... You will be surprised.

  • for what console is this game ?

  • That would be PS2.

  • is there a US or European version ?

  • Not as of yet, And It would be a Long shot, due to the nightmare of licnsing.

  • True. Our only hope is if Banpresto translates these things themselves rather than going through Atlus.

Which, given their fanbase over here, they'd be idiots NOT to do. I bet this series would sell out faster than the Wii did. :D

  • Rely on Aeon Genesis to finish their translation on SRW Alpha 1 A.S.A.P., since they already sent word all SRWs (or at least the SRW best sellers) will get a IPS patch. If they match it perfectly like last time... =D. Just "=D"

  • FYI: DaiRaiOh is a tribute to mask riders. Just look at him, he's practically a Masked Rider Black.

  • I would like to see someone sync the Kamen Rider Black BGM while DaiRaiOh does the "JinRai" attack.

  • "Kamen Rider" would be the right way, since most fans disregard the americanization "Masked". XD

But yeah, all the kicks and the color scheme, plus the waving scarf, are tributes to the Kamen Riders, mainly Black KR and KR Super-1. I imagine it would be awesome if he also had a sword, just to do a tribute to KR Black RX. Impale it down the waist, and sparks flowing from the back! WHOO!
