I think they've had Starcraft, and they've had Warcraft. I've grown up with both, but to me it seems they've mixed the two a little as time went on. Look at all the old cinematics on here, and compare them to this... =P the theme's changed a little - not saying for the worse, or for the better, but just putting it out there.

Suddenly, Kerrigan is an image not unlike Illidain's or Arthas'. Its more fantasy than SC's original sci-fi... but that's just my growing concern, what do you guys think?

Not suddenly. Sarah was the original naive and good hearted warrior fallen into the ruin of her own darkness (at least for Blizzard), way before WC3. While Arthas was driven by that frozen blade curse, Kerrigan character transformation had to do more with instinct and embracing our wild nature. No regrets, no looking back, eager and willing, full blown sociopath. Isnt any hard to guess why she is the most loved / hated character in SC.

Besides, Jimmy promised to kill her, I doubt Zeratul will do it. He might get close to it, but she'll probably run away. Zeratul is pretty strong, and I think she knows it. She wouldn't take him on one-on-one. Even with only a few hydras. She'd have like, an entire brood behind her. She may have been a little cocky in the original Starcraft, but I think she's smartened up at least a bit.

You guys are also forgetting that Zeratul actually meets up with Raynor during the Terran campaign(According to previously released footage.) If this is truly the opening cinematic, then it wouldn't make sense for Zeratul to die.

It was the opening cinematic for BlizzCon, not Starcraft. We don't know for sure if it has a real spot in the Starcraft game(s). And if it did, that Terran footage was supposedly from the middle of the Terran campaign. Zeratul was not dead then, just injured.
